Urgent Care The Podcast, Archives (Originally Published on 9/05/2018): Featured Guest, Jayme Bella Founder of Greenerways Organics.
For Jayme, the first thought of an organic company came during the summer of 2008 when her house was damaged by a severe storm and became infested with insects. She was pregnant at the time and increasingly eco-conscious, she started reading the labels of traditional insect repellents and realized they were ridden with harmful chemicals and other ingredients that were completely unknown to her. Fearful of what these chemicals could do to her unborn child, she began to research various essential oils and the properties they contained.
Shortly thereafter, she invested in a small machine that allowed her to mix small quantities of essential oils. After much research, she wound up with a variety of oils, all of which had repellent properties to varying degrees. Through the process of hard work and extensive mixing and matching she, along with her family, eventually derived a formula that actually repelled insects, was kind to skin, and was safe. Sharing with friends and other family members led to positive confirmation of their findings and Greenerways Organic Bug Spray was born.

"AMERICAN BOY.org" A new ally for addicts and the families that love them.
Megan Megale is the Founder of American Boy and this project began with the passing of her son Matt Megale, her very own American boy. Megan and her family watched Matt struggle for ten years with addiction and saw firsthand the frustration and anguish of repeatedly failing at his sobriety.
As a part of the grieving process, Shea Megale, Megan's daughter, presented the family with a manuscript called AMERICAN BOY. Reluctantly they all read it, uncomfortable with its contents but knowing every family that struggles with addiction has the same experiences. Collectively, the family agreed, if they are not honest in sharing their story, it helps no one.
The AMERICAN BOY Project addresses the three obstacles they feel impeded Matt's success in his recovery; twenty-eight days in treatment is never enough, the stigma of addiction, and better resources to identify the best treatment possible for your loved one.

At the birth of the commercial Web, Martin was the founding publisher of Interactive Age, the first publication in history to launch in print and on the Web simultaneously. It was the first publication in history to run an interactive, online advertisement.

Episode #016 - Dr. Ronald Genova Co-Owner of Phoenix ER and Medical Hospital is here to talk about the benefit of doctor-owned hospitals.
At a time when delivering high-quality healthcare is a top priority for every hospital executive, physician-owned hospitals are having much difficulty gaining traction for future expansion and development in light of healthcare reform.
Physician-owned models focus on providing high-quality care to patients instead of seeing as many patients as possible. The majority of physician-owned hospitals also provide specialized medical care and tend to give patients more power over their medical decisions because they have time to make sure their patients are well-informed.
