Hijo de la Luna / Child of the moon

Hello friends of Hive, I hope you are very well, here I am participating for week 142 of Hive Openmic entitled Our Destination. And for the occasion, I felt inspired to interpret the famous song by Mecano, entitled Hijo de la Luna. The lyrics of this song talk about the tragic story of a gypsy woman who falls in love with a member of the Calé ethnic group, neither of them could marry, since the laws of their towns only allowed marriages from the same tribe. In a moment of desperation to have her beloved, the woman conjures the Moon to grant her the man she loves so much. The natural satellite answers his prayers, but tells him what change he should give his firstborn. Finally, the couple flees and they have their marriage bond, however, when their first child is born, the little one has features opposite to gypsy genetics because his skin was white and his eyes had a gray tone. In that sense, this story gives me strong vibes of magic and destiny, meaning that destiny did not want the gypsy couple to work out, so the moon had to intervene, and, despite everything, things did not go as they should. they expected. This cover is extremely simple, in terms of technique, but it was quite an adventure for me to find the nuances that worked best with the music, I hope you like it.
Hola amigos de Hive, espero se encuentren muy bien, he aquí me encuentro participando para la semana 142 de Hive Openmic titulada Nuestro Destino. Y para la ocasión, me sentí inspirado a interpretar la famosa canción de Mecano, titulada Hijo de la Luna. La letra de esta canción habla sobre la historia trágica de una mujer gitana que se enamora de un miembro de la etnia calé, ninguno de los dos podía casarse, pues las leyes de sus pueblos solo permitían matrimonios de la misma tribu. En un momento de desesperación por tener a su amado, la mujer conjura a la Luna para que le conceda al hombre que tanto ama. El satélite natural responde a sus plegarias, pero le dice que cambio le debe de entregar a su primogénito. Finalmente, la pareja huye y tienen su enlace matrimonial, sin embargo, cuando nace su primer hijo, el pequeño tiene rasgos opuestos a la genética gitana pues su piel era blanca y sus ojos tenían un tono gris. En tal sentido, esta historia me da unas fuertes vibras de magia y de destino, significando que el destino no quería que la pareja gitana funcionara, por lo que la luna tuvo que intervenir, y, a pesar de todo, las cosas no salieron como esperaban. Este cover es extremadamente sencillo, en cuanto a técnica, pero fue toda una aventura para mí encontrar los matices que más funcionaban con la música, espero sea de su agrado.

After a long absence due to university, work and orchestra responsibilities, I have found a window of time through which to approach you once again, especially on this occasion, being the time of the Christmas holidays. For this Week Number 141- Winter -, I share with you a famous Venezuelan Christmas gift titled "We sing to you" by Ricardo Pérez. It is a song whose lyrics talk about devotion to the Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ, and the passion one has for singing to her. On this occasion, my dad, @esteliopadilla, accompanies me playing the Venezuelan cuatro, which gives it a characteristic touch of our music. Without much more to say, I hope you enjoy this small but loving contribution to the community, the piano arrangement is one of very high difficulty, so I hope I have been up to the level. Happy holidays, I love you very much.
Hola amigos de Hive Open Mic. Tras una gran ausencia por responsabilidades de la universidad, trabajo y orquesta, he encontrado una ventana de tiempo por la cual aproximarme a ustedes una vez más, sobretodo en esta ocasión, siendo la época de las fiestas navideñas . Para esta Semana Número 141- Winter -, comparto con ustedes un famoso aguinaldo venezolano titulado "A ti te cantamos" de Ricardo Pérez. Es una canción cuya letra habla sobre la devoción a la Virgen María, Madre de Jesucristo, y la pasión que se le tiene para cantarle. En esta ocasión, me acompaña ejecutando el cuatro venezolano, mi papá, @esteliopadilla, el cual le da un toque característico de nuestra música. Sin mucho más que decir, espero que disfruten esta pequeña pero amorosa contribución a la comunidad, el arreglo de piano es uno de dificultad muy alta, por lo que espero haber estado al nivel. Felices fiestas, los amo mucho.

Hello beloved companions of Hive Open Mic, here I appear after several weeks of inactivity, taking advantage of the little time I have this week, to share music among us. This Week 108 Undisclosed Words brings many things to mind. Every time I listen to a piece by Chopin, I feel that there are more words beyond what one feels: "music can express words, but there are many that Chopin leaves unrevealed". In this sense, I share with you one of his Mazurkas, which are traditional Polish dances in 3/4 time. Chopin wrote a large number of these, and the one I bring you is one of the shortest, but the one that makes us listen to the most mysterious words. It has a sad and strong main melody, and the middle part I find more ambiguous and frenetic.
Hola compañeros amados de Hive Open Mic, he aquí aparezco después de varias semanas de inactividad, aprovechando el poco tiempo que tengo esta semana, para compartir música entre nosotros. Esta Semana 108 Palabras no reveladas me trae a la mente muchas cosas. Cada vez que escucho una pieza de Chopin, siento que hay palabras más allá de lo que uno siente: "la música puede expresar palabras, pero son muchas las que Chopin deja sin revelar". En tal sentido, comparto con ustedes una de sus Mazurkas, que son danzas polacas tradicionales en tiempo de 3/4. Chopin escribió un gran número de estas, y la que les traigo es una de las más cortas, pero que más palabras misteriosas nos hace escuchar. Tiene una melodía principal triste y fuerte, y la parte intermedia la encuentro más ambigua y frenética.

What's up Hive? This time we are in Week 104 of Hive Open Mic, and the topic is "Automatic Guitar". So, my participation is with this beautiful song composed by George Harrison and titled "Something". I chose this beautiful melody because it is originally performed with the guitars, also because I like it a lot. Well, from another interpretive perspective, I decided to do it with the Piano to explore other musical possibilities. I hope you like this version. Also, I hope that the presentation of the video will be pleasant for you since I tried to make it a little more dynamic. Also, thanks to @alejandrorigo for selecting this week's topic, which is very interesting. Anyway, let's go.
¿Qué onda Hive? Esta vez estamos en la Semana 104 de Hive Open Mic, y el tema es "Guitarra automática". Así que, mi participación es con esta hermosa canción compuesta por George Harrison y titulada "Something", lo que traducido al castellano es "Algo". Elegí esta bella melodía porque originalmente es interpretada con las Guitarras, además porque me gusta mucho. Bueno, desde otra perspectiva interpretativa, me propuse hacerla con el Piano para explorar otras posibilidades musicales. Espero que les guste este versión. Asimismo, espero que la presentación del video les sea agradable ya que traté de hacerlo un poco más dinámica.También, gracias a @alejandrorigo por seleccionar el tema de esta semana que es muy interesante. Hello to all our Hive Open Mic friends. In this Week No. 103 - Survival - I bring you a little improvisation about the main theme of the popular song I will Survive, composed and performed by Gloria Gaynor. I like this song very much, because its harmnoy and melody are pretty cool contagious, so I took adventage of this week's theme to share with you some of what my feelings brought me. Of course, one cannot ignore the lyirics of the song, it talks about how it's hard to survive without the love of someone else, at least in some sense, because we all need love. As always my dear friends, here is my entry, I hope you all like it.

Me gusta mucho esta canción, porque su armonía y melodía son bastante chulas y contagiosas, así que aproveché el tema de esta semana para compartir con ustedes algo de lo que me trajeron mis sentimientos. Por supuesto, uno no puede ignorar la letra de la canción, habla de cómo es difícil sobrevivir sin el amor de otra persona, al menos en algún sentido, porque todos necesitamos amor. Hello dear friends of Hive, celebrating the Week 101 of Hive Openmic, I present to you, my humble interpretation of a beautiful themet that we find in Aria the Animation, its called AQUA which means water. This is a theme by Choro Club feat Senoo, and the piano arrangement I interpret for you today is one of the Great Animenz in his first years of activity on Youtube. Also, regarding the theme of this week: Touching Souls, this piece of music, as played by Animenz always made me cry somehow, it was many years ago that I listened to it for the first time, and it feels just like that same momment everytime. As always, this is my entry, and whishig the best for all of us in the comunity, I just hope you like this one.

Hello there again, I hope you are all doing great. I'm participating once again in this HIVE Platform with the special Hive Open Mic Global Community. It is time for Week 98 - Conversación con Dios, a very interesting theme. As I have had many experiences of what someone might call, "the Divine", I really feel this theme in my heart, so I chose to share with all of you a cover that also comes from my Heart: Change the World, a song composed by Rie Matsumoto. This song plays as the first opening of, good old, Inuyasha. And, as many of you might recognize, the arrangemente comes from Animenz. I really feel this one as a conversation between two people, as there are melodies played by the left hand that reply directly to the right hand. I hope, I can see many of your performances this week, friends, and as always, here is my entry.
Hola de nuevo, espero que todos estén muy bien. Estoy participando una vez más en esta plataforma HIVE con la comunidad global especial Hive Open Mic. Es hora de la Semana 98 - Conversación con Dios, un tema muy interesante. Como he tenido muchas experiencias de lo que alguien podría llamar, "lo Divino", realmente siento este tema en mi corazón, así que elegí compartir con todos ustedes un cover que también sale de mi Corazón: Cambiar el Mundo, una canción compuesta por Rie Matsumoto. Esta canción suena como la primera apertura de, buen viejo, Inuyasha. Y, como muchos de ustedes reconocerán, el arreglo proviene de Animenz. Realmente siento esto como una conversación entre dos personas, ya que hay melodías tocadas por la mano izquierda que responden directamente a la mano derecha. It is BIG pleasure for me to be back sharing in this HIVE Platform and especially in this Hive Open Mic Global Community, about this Week 96 - My melody, after not being able to participate at Week 95, because I was sick. This time I play to you this somewhat sad and beautiful melody from one of my favorite games: Megaman 3. The theme was composed by Yasuaki Fujita and it sounds at the ending credits of the game, and its well known that makes reference to Protoman, that's why many people call it The Protoman Theme. Anyways, I'm thankful to be back to watch you people from the Community, and as always, here is my entry.
Es un GRAN placer para mí volver a compartir en esta plataforma HIVE y especialmente en esta comunidad global de Hive Open Mic, sobre esta Semana 96 - Mi melodía, después de no poder participar en la Semana 95, porque estaba enfermo. En esta ocasión les traigo esta melodía un tanto triste y hermosa de uno de mis juegos favoritos: Megaman 3. El tema fue compuesto por Yasuaki Fujita y suena en los créditos finales del juego, y es bien sabido que hace referencia a Protoman, por eso mucha gente lo llama The Protoman Theme. What's up Hive friends and, especially, those of this amazing Global Community, Hive Open Mic. This week's theme was selected by my dad @estelliopadilla, and it is Ethics and Freedom. Keeping that in mind, I chose to share with you my interpretation of lit, a theme that sounds in the anime movie called A Silent Voice. I chose this one because the movie specificaly talks about Ethics, and how our decisions affect the lives of others, and how, ultimately, we are free to change our ways on to better decisions. I apologize for the delay of this post, I've been sick all this week, but I still wanted to participate and share with you all. I hope you like my entry.
Qué onda amigos de Hive y, en especial, los de esta increíble Comunidad Global, Hive Open Mic. El tema de esta semana fue seleccionado por mi papá @estelliopadilla, y es Ética y Libertad. Teniendo eso en cuenta, elegí compartir con ustedes mi interpretación de lit, tema que suena en la película de anime llamada A Silent Voice. Elegí esta porque la película habla específicamente sobre la ética y cómo nuestras decisiones afectan la vida de los demás y cómo, en última instancia, somos libres de cambiar nuestros caminos para tomar mejores decisiones. What's up my people? I hope you are all fantastic today, because I feel great sharing music on this HIVE platform, especially in this Hive Open Mic global community, at this event Week 93. On this occasion, I present to you a very challenging piece for me, it is the Second Study of Opus 25 by Frederic Chopin. In general terms, this work basically focuses on polyrhythms and is commonly associated, extra-musically, with the buzzing of bees. Because of this, it has become popular among interpreters as "Les abeilles", which is French for "The Bees". This is played very fast among professional pianists, and this being my first time playing a piece this fast, I chose to focus on speed more than anything. As always, here is my entry, I just hope you like it.
¿Qué pasa mi gente? Espero que estén todos fantásticos hoy, porque me siento muy bien compartiendo música en esta plataforma HIVE, especialmente en esta comunidad global Hive Open Mic, en el evento de esta Semana 93. En esta ocasión, les presento una pieza muy retadora y desafiante par mi, se tata del Segundo Estudio del Opus 25 de Frederic Chopin. En líneas generales, esta obra se enfoca, básicamente, en la polirritmia y se asocia comúnmente, en lo extramusical, al zumbido de las abejas. Debido a esto, se ha popularizado entre los intérpretes como "Les abeilles", que en francés significa "Las abejas". Esta se interpreta muy rápido entre los pianistas profesionales, y siendo la primera vez que toco una pieza así de rápido, elegí concentrarme en la velocidad más que nada. Como siempre, aquí está mi entrada, solo espero que les guste.

I am pleased to share with all of you, on this HIVE Platform, especially in this Global Community Hive Open Mic, about this Week 92 this beautiful musical work by the renowned Viennese composer Franz Schubert (1797 - 1828). It is the Ständchen (Serenade), which comes from the Series 20 nº 557 of a set of musical pieces created for Voice and Piano Solo. However this time I present a Cover for the Violin acting as the human voice and, of course, I taking care of the Piano accompaniment. From here, I make a special thanks to my dad @esteliopadilla who plays the Violin. This is truly a beautiful and charming piece, the melody of which makes me feel sad but hopeful, so I hope those feelings can surface from our performance. As always, I just hope my entry today is to your liking.
Me complace compartir con todos ustedes, en esta Plataforma HIVE, especialmente en esta Comunidad Global Hive Open Mic, sobre esta Semana 92 esta hermosa obra musical del reconocido compositor vienés Franz Schubert (1797 - 1828). Se trata del Ständchen (Serenata), que procede de la Serie 20 nº 557 de un conjunto de piezas musicales creadas para Voz y Piano Solo. Sin embargo esta vez les presento un Cover para el Violín haciendo la veces de la voz humana y, por supuesto yo encargándome del acompañamiento del Piano. Desde aquí, hago un especial agradecimiento a mi papá @esteliopadilla quien toca el Violín. Esta es realmente una pieza hermosa y encantadora, cuya melodía me hace sentir triste pero con esperanza, así que espero que puedan aflorar esos sentimientos desde nuestra interpretación. It feels good to re-post to HIVE , share with you and see the immense talent everyone has in this global Hive Open Mic community. This Week 91, being the first of the year, has as a category of participation the "Motivation to achievement", and my entry is with a piano interpretation of a small theme from the Movie Secret. It is about the theme that is entitled - literally - "Time travel theme". This piece seems like a huge challenge to me when I listen and play it, so I focused on getting the best out of myself in this performance. Here is my entry and I just hope you enjoy it.
Se siente bien volver a publicar en HIVE, compartir con ustedes y ver el inmenso talento que todos tienen en esta comunidad global Hive Open Mic. Esta Semana 91, siendo la primera del año, tiene como categoría de participación la "Motivación para el logro", y mi entrada es con una interpretación al Piano de un pequeño tema de la Película Secret. Se trata del tema que se titula - literalmente - "Tema de viaje en el tiempo". Esta pieza parece un gran desafío para mí cuando la escucho y la toco, así que me concentré en sacar lo mejor de mí en esta interpretación. Aquí les dejo mi entrada y solo espero que la disfruten.

Welcome to my last post for this year on this Global Community Hive Open Mic, this time it is about the song "Dango Daikazoku" by Jun Maeda. This song is the first Ending of the Anime Series Clannad. Regarding this week's theme "Intransigent Evolution", this is a heartwarming song that talks about a bunch of little living Dangos (traditional japanese dumplings), that grow inside a loving Family, I really cried the first time I listened to the lirycs. I hope to make justice for that heartwarming feeling in my playing for all of you. I just hope you like it.
Bienvenidos a mi última publicación de este año sobre esta comunidad global Hive Open Mic, esta vez se trata de la canción "Dango Daikazoku" de Jun Maeda. Esta canción es el primer final de la serie de anime Clannad. Con respecto al tema de esta semana "Intransigente Evolución", esta es una canción conmovedora que habla de un grupo de pequeños Dangos (bolas de masa tradicionales japonesas) vivientes, que crecen dentro de una Familia amorosa, realmente lloré la primera vez que escuché la letra. Espero hacer justicia por ese sentimiento reconfortante en mi forma de tocar para todos ustedes. Solo espero que les guste.

"Silent Night" - "Noche de Paz" Piano and Violin Cover - @sebastianpadilla Hello HIVE
I am very happy to share on this platform HIVE, especially this time this Live Hive Music community, this instrumental version of the song "Silent Night". This German Christmas Carol was written in 818 by the German priest Joseph Mohr, and the music was composed by the German musician Franz Xaver Gruber. This time I am accompanied on Violin by my dad @esteliopadilla and we try to make an acoustic version, quite relaxing and inspiring. I hope it pleases everyone.
Estoy muy feliz de compartir en esta plataforma HIVE, especialmente en esta vez esta comunidad de Live Hive Music, esta versión instrumental de la canción "Noche de paz". Este Villancico alemán fue escrito en 818 por el sacerdote alemán Joseph Mohr, y la música fue compuesta por el músico alemán Franz Xaver Gruber. What a pleasant opportunity I have today participating in the service of the HIVE Platform, especially in this Global Community Hive Open Mic in Week 89. On this occasion, I present myself with an arrangement for piano by Animenz of the theme presented by Joe Hisaishi "Merry Go-round of Life". These are brief variations on the main theme of the movie Howl's Moving Castle. Its execution is a feat for me, since it demands great versatility with various musical forms on the piano.
Que grata oportunidad tengo hoy participando del servicio de la Plataforma HIVE, especialmente en esta Comunidad Global Hive Open Mic en la Semana 89. En tal ocasión, me presento con un arreglo para piano hecho por Animenz del tema presentado por Joe Hisaishi "Merry Go-round of Life". Se trata de unas breves variaciones del tema principal de la película Howl's Moving Castle. Su ejecución es una hazaña para mí, puesto que exige una gran versatilidad con varias formas musicales con el piano.
