Hello, my brothers wherever you are. I wish you all good health and long life.

We're back again for the weekly event of #hiveopenmic week #102. This week, our band is in an incomplete personnel condition to participate in this cool weekly event due to some busyness. So this time, Alamsyah himself was represented as the vocalist of the Broderhood who came to this weekly event.

Since this week's #openmic event is themed "Tocando Almas", In English, this means: "Touching Souls." we finally decided to bring our original Broderhood song with the title "Falling in Love". We created this song at the end of 2018 and it has been packaged in the mini-album 'Paradox'.

If we can translate our song then, this song touches the soul of someone who is in love with his partner. people who are in love with their lover, sitting together with strings of poetic words accompanying their togetherness.

here are the lyrics of this song :

DI SINI TERANG BULAN TERANGNYA BINTANG

DI SINI ADA KAMU BUATKU TERBANG MELAYANG

DI SINI HIJAU DUNIA INDAHNYA ALAM

DI SINI ADA KAMU, MENABURKAN CINTA

DI SINI SEJUK MALAM MEMELUK KESUNYIAN

DI SINI ADA KAMU HADIRKAN CAHAYA KEHANGATAN

DI SINI BIRU JIWA WARNAI JALAN PANJANG

DI SINI ADA KAMU AKU JATUH CINTA,

JATUH CINTA, OH JATUH CINTA.

REEF: KAU SEMPURNAKAN HARI, KAULAH PEMILIK HATI

KAU TERINDAH MIMPI KAULAH, KU JATUH CINTA

KAU SEMPURNAKAN WARNA, KAULAH PEMILIK JIWAKU

KAU TERINDAH KASIH, KAULAH ALASANKU JATUH CINTA

Hello, my brothers and sisters, we are trying to participate in the weekly #openmic week 101. On this occasion, our band performed a cover of the song entitled "Free Independent" (Free Independent). This song was popularized by a reggae band from Jakarta named "Steven & Coconut Treez".

In our opinion, this song describes the freedom of a human being to do anything in his life. The lyrics in this song tell about humans who live life as they are, independent and unaffected by other people's words. So, we agreed to perform this song because it fits this week's theme, "Freedom of Expression".

The lyrics of the songs that we bring;

Banyak yang bertanya

Aku ini mau jadi apa

Kok nggak kuliah juga nggak kerja

Tapi ku jawab inilah aku apa adanya yeah

Tapi jangan kira

Aku gak berbuat apa-apa

Aku berkarya dengan yang ku bisa

Dan yang penting aku bahagia

Yang penting aku gak nipu

Gak bikin susah kalian

Yang penting gak terlibat

3 7 8

Kujalani apa adanya

Aku bahagia

Bebas lepas tanpa beban

Aku merdeka

If translated into English, the lyrics of this song are;

Many are asking

What do I want to be?

Why don't you go to college and you don't work?

But I answered this is what I am yeah

But don't think

I didn't do anything

I work with what I can

And most importantly I'm happy

The important thing is that I don't cheat

Don't make it hard for you

The important thing is not to get involved

3 7 8

I live as is

I am happy

Free to lose without the burden

I'm free

To listen to the original song performed by the original singer, I will also include a video link from their YouTube account below

Thank you for watching and listening to our show, see you at the next open-mic event, bye-bye.

Hello friends in the hive community, we are back by uploading an appearance at the "Tamora Showcase" event which was held on February 27, 2022.

The Covid-19 pandemic still haunts musicians to appear off-air. Several activities that the community tries to create are often postponed and even canceled due to the unstable pandemic conditions in our country, Indonesia, and many countries in the world. For musicians and bands like us, there must be a lot of tactics to continue working as well as promos at this time. So, during this pandemic, we were helped a lot by many communities, including the cross-genre music community, the Vespa community, friends from the punk community, who always held collective events or gigs during the pandemic so that the stage and gatherings were not interrupted. It doesn't mean that you can't adapt to the virtual world, but returning to appear directly in front of the audience is a different sensation when making music. There is a different vibe that comes from the audience's response when singing together.

So we have always maintained communication and friendship in the community. That's why until now, during the pandemic, we have been saved a lot by the community or because this band does play in community music. It just feels like here, we don't just play with one community, but play with many communities. One of them is that at this "Tamora Showcase" event, we are back performing live.

Tamora Showcase is the name of this activity, Tamora is an acronym for Tanjung Morawa City which is a place that the community wants to expose. This event starts from the afternoon until the evening with the majority of bands performing grunge, metal, and punk genres. However, we were also invited to participate with the only band with the reggae genre. Again, as we described above, this is thanks to the mutual communication between us as a band and the community.

When performing at the event yesterday, we were allowed to perform at night by performing 3 songs for each band. Activities started from the afternoon until almost the day changed, with a lineup of nearly 20 bands filling the stage alternately. The majority of the filler bands are from Tamora (Tanjung Morawa City) of course, as well as being the venue for the activities. yes like the name of the event, "Tamora Showcase". We came from the city of Medan to the city of Tanjung Morawa by motorbike, in rainy conditions. Several times we stopped being caught in the flood and heavy rain, but this did not dampen our enthusiasm to appear and meet the brothers and sisters at the event. Because we miss an atmosphere like this can continue to exist.

After the headbanging and moshing audiences were enchanted by the music of the bands that appeared before us. It was our turn to slow down the tempo, cool down for a moment to the strains of reggae music in the first song (check the previous post). In the previous post, we covered a rock song with the title "Telalu Manis" from a band from Jakarta, Slank. Then, in this post, we will bring the song "Gara-Gara Rasta" from Botagearista, a band from Semarang. We performed this song to invite the pogo-pogo audience to warm up the atmosphere in the performance hall, where previously almost all of the visitors, including us, were wet in the rain. Finally, we returned to take the opium on stage.

Enjoy watching and thank you for seeing our performance. Uyeee and regards.

hello, brothers and sisters in the hive community #music. today we upload a video while filling the stage at the "Tamora Showcase" event on February 27, 2022. This activity was initiated by young people in the city of Tanjung Morawa with the aim of introducing their city. Dozens of bands fill this music event and our Band is one of them. We performed 3 songs on stage yesterday and one of them we covered a song called "Terlalu Manis" by Slank band from Jakarta.

This song from the album Kampungan, which was released in December 1991, tells the story of a sweet story with someone who had been together before but had to part one time.

Here are the lyrics:

"Kuambil gitar dan mulai memainkan

Lagu yang biasa kita nyanyikan

Tapi tak sepatah kata yang terucap

Hanya ingatan yang ada di kepala

Hari berganti angin tetap berhambus

Cuaca berubah daun-daun tetap tumbuh

Kata hatiku pun tak pernah berubah

Berjalan dengan apa adanya

Di malam yang dingin dan gelap sepi

benakku melayang pada kisah kita

Terlalu manis untuk dilupakan

Kenangan yang indah bersamamu

Tinggalah mimpi

Terlalu manis untuk dilupakan

Walau kita memang tak saling cinta

Tak kan terjadi ... (diantara kita)"

If translated into English, the lyrics of this song are;

"I took the guitar and started playing

The song we used to sing

But not a word is spoken

Only memories are in my head

The day changes the wind still blows

The weather changes the leaves keep growing

My heart never changes

Walk with what is

On a cold and lonely dark night

my mind drifts to our story

Too sweet to be forgotten

Beautiful memories with you

Leave a dream

Too sweet to be forgotten

Even though we don't love each other

It won't happen... (between us)"

Thank you for watching and listening to our show.

Best regards, Hive community followers everywhere. hopefully in good health always. In this post, we want to share our longing for the atmosphere when Broderhood performed at Vespa activities.

3 years ago, on November 19, 2019. The Vespa community from one of the cities in North Sumatra, namely Scooterist Tembung held their first activity inviting the public in one of the fields. This activity is like a people's party for residents around the place where the event takes place and a meeting moment for Vespa drivers in this city.

This festival takes place with the theme "Brothers to rust". If it may be interpreted, Vespa users of any type and from anywhere declare between fellow riders are brothers. Added the meaning to rust, perhaps taking the philosophy of the Vespa unit which is an old vehicle that is timeless until now even though it is rusty. So, the organizers of this festival want the brotherhood between Vespa riders to survive even though it is overtime.

At this Festival there is a bazaar that contains merch, culinary, handicrafts, and other sales. Other exciting activities such as Vespa contests of various specifications to various competitions invite joy and increase intimacy between participants who participate and see. Then, there was a stage filled with local musicians to entertain the hundreds of participants who attended.

Hundreds of Vespa riders attend this festival. Starting from Vespa riders from outside the city to outside the province attended a meeting in Tembung city where this festival took place. Broderhood filled the stage and performed several songs. One of the songs in this video is entitled "Vespa Touring" because the friends who were present took a touring trip using a Vespa and gathered in one activity. We miss this kind of atmosphere, especially the enthusiasm of the audience when they sway to enjoy the songs that we bring. Many Vespa riders like us sweat in the strains of reggae music. There are no barriers between age, socio-economic class, as well as ethnicity, and religion at the Vespa event. Altogether, we miss you.

Hopefully, this kind of activity can be held again in the future. That's all, and thanks for viewing this post.

Hi everyone in the hive community. I hope you are happy in any part of the world. We uploaded a continuation of the previous post, "Vespaart & Culture".

This Vespa event was attended by hundreds of Vespa riders on 2-3 November 2019, in the city of Siantar. We were invited to fill the stage on the last day. As the concert progressed, it rained, soaking the dance area. However, that didn't stop the jamming because the Broderhood came to heat the rain. haha

In this video, we perform a cover song entitled "Gara-Gara Rasta". This song is about a cigarette being rolled and then smoked slowly. Smoke was billowing while carrying thoughts drifting. Vespa riders who enjoyed the concert in the rain were also carried away by the music that we brought (as in the video). They kept on dancing as if they were under the influence of smoking. uyeee, we miss Vespa events like this to be held again so this video is uploaded. Hopefully, shortly world conditions will improve and music events can be held as usual.

happy listening everyone, if you like it let's rock together.

hello, music lovers and hive followers wherever you are. This time we want to upload activities that we long for to exist again in times of many restrictions like today.

This event was held almost 3 years ago before the pandemic hit. Held for 2 days, 2-3 November 2019 at the Merdeka Square in the city of Siantar. The theme that was raised was "Vespaart & Culture". This event was created by young people from Siantar City who are members of several communities. As creative youths who care about culture and have ties to the Vespa community, this may be the basis for them to organize this event.

We were invited to fill the stage at this event. We gladly accept it because the Vespa event is an opportunity to meet with the Vespa brothers.

we departed from the city of Medan on the 2nd of November, because we performed on the 3rd. here is one of the songs that we performed at the concert. This song is called Di Tatto of Shaggy dog which we cover.

Lyrics :

Bukanlah kejahatan bila kau punya tato

Aku dan kawan-kawan juga punya tato

Kami tak ganggu orang walau punya tato

Jarumnya menari- nari ala meksiko

Sakit tapi ingin

Ingin tambah lagi

ditato

Bukanlah kejahatan bila kau punya tato

Nona-nona manis sekarang punya tato

Dibanding jarum suntik mending jarum tato

Jarumnya menari-nari ala meksiko

Sakit tapi ingin

Ingin tambah lagi

Ditato

Buatlah hari ini, jangan kau tunda-tunda lagi

Kami akan menemani

Bila kau ingin bisa tambah lagi

English translation :

It's not a crime if you have a tattoo

I and my friends also have tattoos

We don't bother people even if we have tattoos

The needles dance Mexican style

Sick but want

Want to add more

tattooed

It's not a crime if you have a tattoo

Sweet ladies now have tattoos

Compared to a syringe, it's better to have a tattoo needle

The needles dance Mexican style

Sick but want

Want to add more

tattooed

Make it today, don't delay anymore

We will accompany

If you want you can add more

Hey guys, especially those in the Hive community. In this post, we are the 'Broderhood Band', traveling around the city of Berastagi.

This activity was initiated by Berastagi's friends and became their regular gigs. This gig was also held in the city of Berastagi by 5 performing bands. 3 bands from the city of Berastagi and 2 bands from the city of Medan. The 2 bands from Medan are 'Broderhood Band' and 'United Indonesia'.

We did the tour using 3 motorbikes. We departed from Medan at 1 pm, in the middle of the trip the weather was a little drizzle and foggy because the city we visited was a city located in the highlands.

Arriving in the city of Berastagi, we stopped at our friend's house at 4, because they were the ones who organized the event and at the same time rested for a while waiting for the night. We were also treated to food and drinks by this very friendly family. We are very grateful.

It was almost night, and we shifted to the gigs held at D'merrell cafe at 18.30. A group of people using motorbikes, we from Broderhood, Indonesia Bersatu Band, and our friends organized the event.

Gigs in the cafe room, and filled with 5 bands of punk, rock, hardcore, and reggae genres. The event started at 20.00 but the cafe was already filled with young people from Berastagi City who wanted to enjoy gigs.

We became the 2nd performer after our friend's band performed. the concept of the gigs was simple but lively, even though it was raining heavily outside and cold, but inside we were still warmly wrapped in jamming and pogo-pogo. Oi..Oi.. Uyee..

We will miss this atmosphere later. here's an original song from us that we brought with the title VESPA DANSA

Hello, hive followers in any part of the world. May you always be given health.

This time we uploaded a video while singing the original single Broderhood-Save the Sumatran Rhinos at the Jong Batak Festival, 2020.

The annual art event by North Sumatran artists entitled Jong Bataks Festival is entering its seventh year since it was first held in 2013.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jong Bataks Festival was held virtually through the Rumah Karya Indonesia YouTube account on 28-31 October 2020.

The theme this time is "alunan mantra tala" which means

prayers that are sung to God that give life, encourage and Tala is the tuning or tone of voice. in short harmonized prayers.

This annual activity is to commemorate the youth oath, which in Indonesian history is the day when youth vowed to fight colonialism in nationalism to fight for independence.

In line with the theme, we performed several original Broderhood songs. One of them is the song Save the Sumatran Rhinoceros which is our prayer to God to remind humans that there are species that are almost extinct due to greedy human activities. It is not wise to live in the same environment. We convey the straightforward lyrics in this song, "Stop buying Sumatran rhino organs, stop forest encroachment right now". we fill the stage at the end of the event. 3 days earlier many local artists and cultural observers had filled in which finally arrived at us as a closing.

Enjoy watching, and the full video can be seen here:

Regards. Hive friends wherever you are.

We from the Broderhood cover the songs "Selayang Pandang" by Lily Suhairi and "RAP" in a medley at the Jong Batak Festival, 2020.

This festival itself aims to promote cultural-based works in North Sumatra and has been running for 8 years. In 2020 we are invited to fill this stage. We carry many original song. However, there was 1 cover of a folk song that was sung to match the theme of the activity and we chose this song.

The song "Melayu" from Selayang Pandang & "Batak" for the RAP song. Happy listening.

hello everyone, hope you guys who see this are in good health always.

This time, we uploaded a video during the "Ulos Ragihotang" festival in Meat Village, North Sumatra, Indonesia. On November 21, 2021, last year.

This festival raises the theme of ulos in Meat Village. Ulos itself is in the form of cloth. Ulos woven fabric is a typical woven fabric for the Batak people, one of the 1331 tribes in Indonesia. Ulos has a very important function and meaning for the Batak tribe. Various traditional ceremonies such as birth, marriage, death, and other rituals are never carried out without ulos. Regarding color, ulos cloth is always dominated by three colors, namely red, black and white.

We traveled approximately 8 hours from the city of Medan to the village of Meat. This village is located on the outskirts of Lake Toba, the second largest volcanic mountain lake in the world.

After arriving at the village of Meat, we spent the night at a homestay owned by residents with a pampering landscape view, until tomorrow we wait to fill out the festival activities.

We performed several songs at this festival, and one of them was the song Ku Wants to Sing. A single on the Mini-album from Broderhood. We enjoyed this stage, because it was on the outskirts of Lake Toba with the evening wind blowing and singing with festival visitors to the strains of reggae music. Uye once haha. Maybe you will feel the same if you were there at that time.

For your information, we have released the music video for this song on Youtube.

and we have released this song on United Master, Spotify, iTunes, youtube music, and SoundCloud with the keyword "Broderhood - Kuingin bernyanyi". you can listen to it, and I hope you enjoy it. Uyee

Hi friends and brothers, especially those in the Hive community. In this post, we upload a video celebrating World Animal Rights Day on October 15, 2021 last year.

We initiated this activity and collaborated with a coffee shop as well as a discussion room in Medan, namely Literacy coffee, which was also carried out here. This commemoration is filled with the screening of the trailer for the film "Seeking Asylum" which tells about immigrant birds from foreign countries and seeking asylum in aceh, Indonesia. then the trailer for "The King's of Territory" with the theme of the Sumatran Tiger.

Then in the contents of 3 musicians who brought environmental-themed songs. first, Joseng Panjaitan with his work, Nature Batih, and finally we Broderhood who then performed the songs "Mary" & "Save the Sumatran Rhinoceros".

The master of ceremony performed an environmental themed song from musicians and a discussion on "Animal Rights" was presented by the master of ceremony and sparked a discussion with speakers from environmental activists, journalists, writers and animal lovers as well as participants who attended.

This activity also aims to be a reminder for us that animals also have the same rights as humans, apart from disseminating information from the media about the environment and wildlife, government regulations regarding the environment and their punishments, phenomena of hunting, animal abuse, and environmental destruction.

we hope that this activity will not only be a mere ceremony, but can add insight and change behavior, especially for those present to be wiser to live side by side with fellow creatures and protect the environment as a place to live together.

Hello, friends and family of Hive Open Mic. Introducing us Broderhood band from Medan, Indonesia, who have just joined this application and are participating in the weekly #openmic event for the first time. "Mi Melodia." In English, this means: "My Melody." is this week's theme, so we're performing our original song called Ku Want to Sing (I Want to Sing). Life is full of unavoidable challenges and problems. However, not all humans have the mental strength to deal with it. Therefore, it is necessary to have friends, social support, and media for releasing emotions, one of which is singing.

Btw, this song was made in 2020 and is already on our first mini-album which will be released in 2021. The reggae melody of unlimited hope comes through with a line of straightforward lyrical themes; beach, friend beach, and best people. The lyrics for this song are as follows:

KU INGIN BERNYANYI, BERNYANYI DI PANTAI

AKU INGIN MENGELUARKAN, SEMUA BEBAN DI DADA

KU INGIN BERNYANYI, BERNYANYI BERSAMA MU

BERSAMA TEMAN-TEMAN, KALIAN SEMUA YANG TERBAIK

REFF: JIKALA KAU RAGU, DATANGLAH PADA KU

JIKALA KAU RAGU, PEGANGLAH PUNDAK ku

JIKALA KAU RAGU, DENGARLAH MUSIK KU

JIKALA KAU RAGU BERNYANYILAH BERSAMA

If translated into English, then the lyrics are:

I WANT TO SING, SING ON THE BEACH

I WANT TO REMOVE, ALL THE LOAD ON THE CHEST

I WANT TO SING, SING WITH YOU

WITH FRIENDS, YOU ARE ALL THE BEST

IF YOU DO NOT HESITATE, COME TO ME

IF YOU HAVE A HAND, HOLD MY SHOPS

IF YOU DO NOT HESITATE, LISTEN TO MY MUSIC

IF YOU HESITATE SING TOGETHER want to sing

Thank you for listening, we hope you like our new song. Regards
