The Road to Wine- My own road to wine

I am a Court of Masters Sommelier and a WSET Certified Specialist. I recently received my Spanish Wine Scholar Guild Diploma with Honors. With over 15 years of experience in the wine industry, I am also the proprietor of Luisa's Cellar wine bar in beautiful Downtown Sanford in which I proudly curates the extensive wine selection. I also co-owned with my husband Vineyards of the World in Clermont, Florida which was in business for 5 years until it moved location to Sanford.

I also serve as a wine consultant to small wine bars and restaurants and hosts weekly webinars and wine tastings for wine aficionados.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and attended Journalism School at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon achieving a Bachelors Degree in Art. I then moved to Miami where I was accepted at Florida International University where I got to complete my Masters Degree in Journalism and Public Relations. I worked in several local magazines and newspapers before moving to Germany.

The so called wine bug got me after living in Germany and exploring Europe for several years. Nevertheless I continued with my formal education and got accepted in the University of Puerto Rico School of Law from which I completed successfully my Juris Doctor. I worked for the Miguez & Negretti LLC law firm specializing in civil litigation, bankruptcy and copyright.

With a passion and genuine love for wine I am eager to share it with everybody. Proud geek, a bit Doctor Who fan, super heroes and of course Hanson. Life is too short not to enjoy wine or to make it all snobbery. I believe in making wine easy, fun and educational for everyone with simple courses and training to make you the star of the party. Visit all social media outlets for review, videos, streams and webinars. Cheers!
