As I have stepped out in my faith, I have found that our stories can make a lasting impact on the people around us. I started this podcast to give people a voice to tell their stories in hopes that it could encourage and give hope to those who need to hear it. We have power in our stories and the things we have gone through. Any trial you have faced, can be glorified by God. He uses our struggles to show that you can and will make it through it. I give God all the glory in these episodes and I hope even if you’re not sure about who God is, that through these stories, His glory can and will be shown to you.

This week, I was blessed with the opportunity to speak to Ali, a former Shiite Muslim from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Ali's family fled to the United States when he was just 5 years old, seeking a new life during the Iran-Iraq war. He grew up in New York City and eventually worked in Manhattan's Financial District on Wall Street, chasing success with the goal of becoming the wealthiest Muslim who ever lived. Before the financial crisis hit in 2008, Ali pursued a different position and moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where his life would be forever changed by followers of Jesus who faithfully would live out being fishers of men.

This week, I sat down with Tommy Port, a New York native who led Ritchie - my last guest - to Christ. Tommy grew up in Staten Island where the Gospel wasn't a part of his life. He had never even opened a Bible and his family used Jesus' name as a cuss word. It wasn't until life threw some curve balls: a life altering car accident that halted his semi pro hockey career and later a threat of divorce that Tommy started to lose hope. His life, as he knew it, would change forever if something didn't change. For the first time, he felt the urge to pick up the Bible and God's word spoke to him in a way that made him finally recognize his sin. Buckle up, ya'll because this one isn't just one story! Tommy shares about many other amazing things God has done in and through him as he has walked faithfully with the Lord.

This week I sat down with Ritchie Benitez. Ritchie spent 14 years addicted to cocaine while secretly working in the medical field in New York. A successful professional on the outside, but deeply broken on the inside, he lived a double life — dealing cocaine and searching for purpose. But everything changed when he met a co-worker who didn’t just talk about Jesus — he lived it out. Ritchie watched, questioned, and eventually found himself face-to-face with the gospel.
This episode tells the powerful story of how God used a faithful witness, the message of Billy Graham, and the relentless grace of Christ to deliver Ritchie from addiction and transform him into a man on mission. Today, he’s preaching the same hope he once ran from. He now travels all around the U.S. to tell others about Jesus.
If you’ve ever doubted that anyone is too far gone, this episode is for you!

This week I speak with traveling Bible teacher, Mike Attwood. Mike was born in Leeds, England with a Roman Catholic background, but faith was nothing more than a routine in his family. By age 18, Mike was lost in drinking, smoking, and chasing the things of the world. It all seemed normal, until he met a girl who challenged him with the truth. What started as a pursuit for the wrong reasons led to a life changing encounter with the love of Christ. Mike has now been a devout Christian for 44 years, has been traveling the world since 1984 to spread the Good News, and also shares his faith and biblical truth through his YouTube channel, reaching others with the hope of Christ!

This week I speak with my long time friend, Brandon Czerwik. Brandon grew up Catholic, believed in God, and thought he was living the Christian life, until the Holy Spirit opened his eyes to the truth: he was lost. After years of going through the motions, Brandon was convicted of his sin and realized that religion couldn't save him, only Jesus could. In this powerful episode, Brandon shares how God broke through his cultural Christianity, exposed the emptiness of "doing the right things", and brought him into a real, saving relationship with Christ. If you've ever wondered whether you're a Christian or not, this episode is for you!

Welcome to Episode 2 of Season 2! I'm so glad to be back! In this episode, I talk about my move from Idaho to Canada! You heard that right, I moved! The Lord has been showing me a lot of similarities from my previous season of isolation to the one I am in now and I couldn't help but share the story He is currently writing. I pray that this episode gives you hope for the future if you're in a season of isolation as well as a reminder that the Lord's sovereignty is still at work in your life! Even if you can't see what's around the next bend of life, rest assured, you have a Father in Heaven who can see them all and can lead you through it!

Welcome to Season 2! I've felt for weeks that I should go in another direction on my podcast and episodes. I have been praying to God on how He would want me to move forward and boy did He answer in a BIG way. I am taking a step back from other people's stories and sharing my own personal stories in hopes to encourage others and showcase His glory. I'm starting this new season off with a personal testimony of how I lost my engagement ring! Even in my doubt, God was gracious enough to help me find it! This is definitely one you will want to listen to all the way through! God truly does the impossible!

Welcome to Episode 37! Recently, I sat down with my friend Adelle Banjac who I connected with over a year ago. She recently went over to help the children of the orphanages in India with her nonprofit organization the LEO Foundation (Lighthouse Enlightenment Organization). For three years, Adelle had put faith in her funding in the hopes to eventually be able to experience the culture first hand and serve the people. She tells of her and her friend Christina's experiences of God's provisions and the miraculous ways He was able to bless the children, people, and villages. Having been a culture they had only ever seen in pictures and videos, they soon realized just how much bringing Jesus to India could make a lasting impact on their lives forever.

Welcome to Episode 36! This week the Lord reminded me to stay in the present and not worry so much about the future. (Can't say I have never done that before!) I want to encourage you guys, myself included, that there is a season for everything. Whether you feel like God is moving on your behalf or not, you have to trust that He is! He isn't just there for us in the challenges we face, He is there in your every day routine equipping you for what's next. Don't spend so much time worrying about your future that you forget to enjoy the journey. Be present with Him in the now because you just might miss what He is trying to teach you for your future.
"Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Matthew 6:34

Welcome to Episode 35! This week is a bit heavy, but I felt the Lord was pulling at my heart to share my heaviness. I had a previous episode that I recorded and edited but didn't feel right about it and now I know why. I felt like the Lord wanted me to be real and authentic with you guys. I might make some people mad in this one, but I will never shy away from the truth. If it doesn't make at least one person mad, then I wasn't being real enough. I need to be better at truly discerning what God wants me to put out on these episodes so here goes nothing! This one is real and raw, so buckle up!

Welcome to Episode 34! After another hiatus, I am back with a different kind of testimony! This week I talk with my friend Zechariah Taylor who I recently connected with at the Porch Boise. He has had quite the health journey and wanted to share in his struggles with physical health issues he went through for a number of years. He sheds some light on how God was able to get him through trials, even on his darkest days. He touches on some practical ways that we can apply to our daily lives to find commonalities that could bring us unwanted stress. If we aren't careful, these stressors can damage us not only physically, but spiritually as well.

Welcome to Episode 33! No guests this week which means I get to share what the Lord has put on my heart with you all! What better way to kick off the week than sharing the Gospel message of Jesus Christ? I have been so timid to share in the past thinking that I didn't have enough knowledge or wisdom, but God calls us to share the Good News, so here I am! Studying Romans 1 over the weekend, the apostle Paul speaks BOLDY and proudly about the Good News. He wasn't ashamed of the Gospel and neither should we. How will people know about Jesus if we don't share and show who He is with others? I pray that this episode gives you a fresh start, a new faith, a boldness to share, and a heart ready to receive what Jesus is speaking to you.

Welcome to Episode 32! This week I chat with my friend John Kalnas! He and I met at the Porch Boise over a year ago. I posted in a group Telegram chat that I had a testimonial podcast and he felt led to share his story! John grew up with a Catholic background and was a pretty sheltered kid up until he was taken from his private Christian school to public school. As he matured, he started to see more of what the world was and stopped participating in church altogether. After a few years of living for himself, he started to feel a tug on his heart. He soon began to realize that God had different plans for his life and hasn't looked back since.

Welcome to Episode 31! This week I brought my friend Cory Dearing. Him and I met through The Porch. Growing up in a Catholic household, Christianity was just a routine for Cory. He spent a lot of time worrying about what other people thought of him and in turn, he started putting his worth in all the wrong places. Cory has now been a Christian for 8 years and hasn't looked back. God has given him some unique opportunities to grow him and shape him into the man he is today. Putting our worth in what the world offers will only let us down and give us a false sense of security. But once we put our faith, hope, trust and worth in Christ, we realize that He is the only one who can make us feel worthy of the calling He has on our lives.

What's up guys! Long time no see! Welcome to Episode 30! This week the Lord put it on my heart to talk to you guys about suffering and pain. We all experience it in this lifetime. Sometimes it's because of our own choices, but sometimes things happen when we least expect them which can sometimes keep us holding onto trauma without properly healing or letting Jesus heal it (I can relate). I've seen a lot of people who are broken spirited this week and wanted to give you guys hope and encouragement as you're facing adversity. My hope is that something in this episode can resonate with you and help you through whatever you're going through today. Send this to someone who may need to hear it too! You are never alone in your pain.

Welcome to Episode 29! This week God put it on my heart to share my experience at our Teen Camp! Growing up, I was asked if I wanted to go to camp, but never did it. Now God is using me to help lead our youth students at the church. I went into this experience open to what God would do, and He showed up in a mighty way with these kids and also for me. Moral of the story is, even if you don't feel called to do something, sometimes trying new things can bring big blessings and that is exactly how this experience was for me. If you're someone looking for direction from God, this one is for you!

Welcome to Episode 28! This week my friend Jeffrey and I chat on how he came to Christ after a big family move from California to Idaho when he was in high school. He went through a lot of life change in a short amount of time which lead him into a deep depression. After a little while, he started to feel like things started to settle. Through some friends he had met, he decided to go seeking after God and hasn't turned back since. Jeffrey also touches on his current struggles and how without Jesus, he wouldn't have the same positive outlook that everything is going to work out. Our walk with the Lord isn't always easy, but it is worth it.

Welcome to Episode 27! This week I talk to my friend Derick Corum. Derick and I met at The Porch (a local young adults community that meets at Rock Harbor). Derick grew up in a Christian home, but struggled on and off with his faith. It wasn't until one youth summer camp where he had a radical encounter with Jesus, that he finally decided to follow Him whole heartedly. So much so, he sold everything he had and moved to Sydney, Australia to pursue his dreams. Derick's story shows that leaning into faith and trusting God's promises is a sure fire way to see Him work in our lives. He truly is our provider.

A lot of times, God can use our trials we go through to give us strength to get through another.

Welcome to Episode 24! This week is part two of Ryder and Shauna's thoughts on premarital and marital intimacy. This week we continue the conversation of what it means when we give ourselves to someone prematurely. We talk about soul ties and the reality of sex before marriage. Ryder and Shauna address how men should be the one who leads their significant other and how we should treat each other before marriage in order to keep our purity.

Welcome to Episode 23! For the last few weeks, I have been wanting to talk more about abstinence and why it is so important. Being someone who didn't wait to have sex before marriage, I have heard from multiple different resources that it is worth the wait. Luckily, God brought me Ryder and Shauna Shepherd to talk about these things and to shed light on the subject. In a world full of lust and lies, we can be so easily swayed to not wait until marriage. Ryder and Shauna have seen both sides of having sex before and after marriage. We talk about their experiences and how they were able to abstain from sex before they were married. Their insights are super encouraging for people that are waiting, but also people that are married already. Buckle up, because this is only part one!

Welcome to Episode 22! God put something on my heart this week that I felt like I needed to share. Have you ever thought of why you're here or what your purpose is? Welcome to Episode 21! First things first, if you're in a slump and need a reminder that God is for you, you need to listen to this episode! This week I chat with David Romero. He is a pastor, musician, and a man of God. We have known each other since I was 3 and he was the best man in my parent's wedding. We both believe that God put us on the same path again to reconnect and be on this podcast together. He gives us glimpses of his story on how in multiple different situations, he had heard a calling from God. He heard Him audibly which not a lot of people have ever experienced! He gives people insight of when he almost lost his life, but refused to believe that God was done with him. God gave him visions/dreams of starting a new church and also opening a coffee shop where he could build community. He also gives us advice and ways to live a life for Christ. He has such a huge heart for God and it is shown throughout this episode.

Welcome to Episode 20! This week I talk with my friend Michael Newville! He and I have known each other since we were in kindergarten. Growing up, he was always the "Christian kid" and I was the rebel! Living in a Christian household, he was taught everything about Christianity. However, with his parent's divorce, he talks about battling with depression as a teenager and attempting to take his own life which then lead him to revert back to his faith in a completely different way. As an adult, Michael decided to go on a mission trip to YWAM New Zealand in 2015 and ended up living there for 7 years spreading the Gospel to many different countries. He speaks about the journey with the Holy Spirit and how choosing to live by the Spirit, we can discover so many blessings that God has in store for us.

Welcome to Episode 19! It is just me this week but MAN I got some stuff to tell you guys! God has been doing some amazing things this past week and I couldn't help but share. In this episode, I talk about chasing perfection and how as Christians and even non Christians, we have the tendency to want to be perfect. However, I was given encouragement that perfection is not a part of being a Christian. In fact, it is far from the truth. I also tell a testimony of God answering my prayers about the podcast. As I have been striving to make this podcast perfect, He has humbled me and made me realize that I don't have to be perfect to reach people. He will equip me and guide me.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." - John 15:5-8

Welcome to Episode 18! This week I talk to Camron Mason, a marine engineer in the United States Coast Guard. Cam and I actually met on Tik Tok! He popped up on my For You page one day and listening to him talk about Jesus gave me so much encouragement. I decided to follow him and the rest is history. Cam had a troubled youth and stumbled a bit to truly follow Jesus, but finally surrendered himself and he has been on his walk with Jesus ever since. Given a choice between the world and Jesus, he implores us to seek Him first. If we do that, we can hear God's calling on our life a lot better and open the door to what He has in store for us.

Welcome to the first testimony of 2023! This week I talk to Angie, a friend of mine from church. She talks about domestic abuse and how God was with her even in the years that she was running from her husband. All that time and even in the times of abuse, God protected her and finally was able to set her free and give her peace as she let go of the past. Her biggest message is if you're going through something similar, please reach out to someone you trust. You are not alone and there's always a way out.

What's up guys! Welcome to Episode 16! This week it's just me, myself and I. I wanted to start the New Year with some reflection on 2022. Mainly because I felt like someone needs to hear that what they are going through, is temporary. We can look at our trials and tribulations like Job did when he lost everything. Even through all he had lost, he still praised God and knew He was good. God doesn't punish us for our sins. He will bring us out of the storm.

Welcome to Episode 14! This week I talk to my friend Kyrsti Bruce from my church. She and I got in touch because she has quite the testimony. However, in this episode, she touches on little snippets of her life and goes back to who Jesus is and the misconceptions of church hurt. My biggest take away is that people and churches can let us down, but Jesus never does. We can't let that be the only reason for not believing in who Jesus is and what He has done. He is worth more than that.

Welcome to Episode 14! This week I talk with my friend Rob Hinz. If you listened to Alex T's testimony, he is his best friend. Rob lived a life of luxury before coming to the Lord. He was a business owner who struggled with addiction, money, and had experienced some demonic energies in his home. The evil spirits got to be too much one day and Rob decided to take his own life. In that moment, God showed up with a pamphlet to Teen Challenge. From that moment on, Rob was able to get clean which then led him on a mission to New Zealand where he saw many miracles. He talks about how God continued to show up in miraculous ways. Just goes to show that God hears us and shows up at the perfect times when we need Him the most.

Welcome to Episode 13! This week I get to talk to my friend Amber who I met through my church. Going into today's episode, there are details that Amber shares about abortion and her experiences through making that choice. Growing up in a very strict household, she had to keep everything from her parents. Amber spent most of her life without God, but God had different plans. On one Easter Sunday, she travels to a church over an hour away. The message and peace she received, was something she needed to finally have closure. Just goes to show that God loves His children and He can forgive us for our sins.

Welcome to Episode 12! This week, I speak with Shauna, who I met this summer at her brother's wedding. She paints a picture of her addiction with opiates but really goes into who God is and the relationship she has with Him. Her story starts when she is living in a place of shame, but Jesus brings her out of that shame, guilt, and addiction in such an amazing and beautiful way. After his surgery, Nate's optimism and positivity seemed to show the doctors and nurses how God can give us peace in the middle of the storm. Trusting in God's plan can be hard at times, but when we let him take control and fully submit to Him, He always reassures us and comforts us. And in turn, we can give Him the glory.

Welcome to Episode 10! This week I talk with my friend Nate Lindskoog. Nate and I met back in 2014, where he was a manager of mine working at Goodwood BBQ Company. Nate gives us an intro on who he is and how God changed his life personally, professionally, and now physically. He tells his story about his beautiful family, his leap of faith with his now very popular breakfast restaurant, The Tower Grill. Even during a recession, God showed up in the most miraculous way to get jim and his family to move from Colorado to Idaho. Fast forward to today and God has continued to test Nate with how much trust he truly has. More so than he could have ever imagined.

Welcome back to Part 2 of Rachael's testimony! This week Rachael continues to talk about her continued struggles with an engagement to someone who did not believe in God. After some unfortunate truths, she spends a couple years just following God's direction and puts herself into a season of being alone. Through that, she finds the person of her dreams, a great career, and the answers as to why everything had happened the way it did. Through everything she had been through, she found that the most empowering time for her was her alone time with God. Sometimes God wants us isolated so we can focus on growing in our walk with Him and THAT is where everything starts to fall into place.
Welcome to Part 1 of Rachael's Testimony! In this week's episode, I talk with Rachael who I met through some really cool circumstances. We connected over our faith recently in a very organic way. She speaks up and goes out of her comfort zone to tell her testimony knowing that it could help someone else. She was a young mom, in and out of relationships that weren't serving her the best, had a life altering loss that no parent wants to go through, lived a rebellious lifestyle, and yet she realized that God was always right beside her throughout her life. She realized that in obedience to God's plan, you can find power and strength.
Welcome back to Part Two of Alex Teichroeb's testimony. In this episode, Alex talks about his road to recovery and healing. He talks about a Christian based program called Teen Challenge that was a huge stepping stone to his sobriety. Slowly but surely, he starts to regain his identity in Christ and could finally see more for his future with God as his main focus. As the door is opened to YWAM (Youth With A Mission), he finds that by taking a leap of faith, you can find your forever person, your purpose in life, and freedom of his addiction. Alex's story shows us that God heals and frees us from things that are meant to destroy us.

Welcome to Part One of Alex Teichroeb's testimony! Alex and I have known each other since 2015 and is now married to one of my best friends. Alex was born and raised in Canada as a Christian. His family started going to church when he was seven. With his parent's divorce and starting high school, he slowly found himself drifting further and further away from God. He talks about his struggles with addiction to cocaine and pills. He knew all along that the choices he was making was against what the Holy Spirit was trying to tell him to run from. He goes into details on how he started using and how he finally asked for help from his dad to get him the help he needed. Little did he know how that one choice was going to change the entire trajectory of his life and lead him on the path that God had for him all along.

For this week's episode, I chat with my friend Ashley who I have known since we were babies! Interestingly enough, we both were going through trials around the same time. Her story begins with a trip to Costco that changed her life. Little did she know, that God was with her through her struggles with depression and anxiety. He continued to pursue her, even when she drifted a bit off course with her faith. God is always welcoming and wants to have a close relationship with us. Ashley's story proves that over and over again with many different signs that He is faithful.

For this week's episode, I talk with my friend Alex about his walk with the Lord. He comes from a religious background and grew up going to church. As a teenager, he found himself hanging out with the wrong crowd due to sports and spent his entire senior year of high school in Juvenile Detention. As God continued to work in him, Alex graduated from high school and made the decision to go to bible college. He really believes that his decision to go changed his entire life and God was able to change his heart there. Now, he has continued his walk with God and reminds us that finding a good church community is the most important thing. It just goes to show to not give up and continue to seek God for answers and guidance. He will show up for us every single time.
In today's episode, I bring on a friend of mine that I have known since I was 13, my best friend's brother Tyson. He goes into the details of his addiction to opiates and how God saved him on multiple occasions. After God got a hold of him in a program called YWAM, God has completely freed him from his addiction. Tyson is now a husband and step father and is living a drug free life. If God can heal an addict, he can heal anyone.

For this week's episode, I talk about how prayer can have a huge impact on our lives if we just have faith in Jesus. He is capable of doing GREAT things in our lives. I give a small testimony on how prayer changed my circumstances in a blink of an eye within this past week. When Jesus gives you signs, you should listen to them and follow what He is trying to tell you.

Whatever walk of life you're living, you're never alone because God is with you every step of the way. People tell their testimonies on how God has changed their lives for the better. This podcast is to give people a voice and share their testimony in hopes that it could impact someone else's life and bring them closer to Jesus. God can use our struggles, trials, and circumstances for His glory. I want to bring light in a dark world and remind us all that there's always a bigger plan and God is ALWAYS good.
