What do conservatives look like? Well if you ask most MSM pundits and those who haven’t ventured past the boundaries of their gayborhood where straight cis-gender men are not welcome you would think a conservative is a white guy from the south drinking beer and oppressing his woman while hating gays. Yet, that’s not the reality since conservative men and women come in all shapes colors, and sexualities.

Our next guest is an outspoken truth prophet and he pulls no punches. He’s a proud gay man and has been invited to speak along with conservatives like Brantum Tatum and has a growing social media following. Our special guest, Clarkson Lawson is here to set the record straight.

There is a battle going on right now between multiple sides about what the definition or the right archetype of masculinity is. And it's a fight that will never the one by anyone, for several reasons. The main reason is that there is no absolute definition of what masculinity is. The problem, especially here in America, is that we've gotten into a zero-sum game where everything is absolute and there's no room for the coexistence of ideas.

It seems everywhere you look, the latest and greatest trend is to call on men to be vulnerable. in fact, to make this transition palatable the tagline is vulnerability IS strength.  that's pretty clever because who doesn't want to be a strong man?  What you're asking, if not demanding, is for men to abandon and forget eons of generational evolution that vulnerability is weakness.

But you're not just going to unravel and undo hundreds of centuries of generational evolution just because it makes you feel good. Words matter. Reality matters. Being a man is hard. If it were easy everyone would do it.

His name evokes corruption, reeks of manipulation, and oozes with betrayal. And though Niccolo Machiavelli did espouse some trickery as a means to maintain power, his name has been unfairly reviled by history. He was no less a master of diplomacy and good leadership, and there's much to learn from his writings.

The world would have missed out on one of the most prolific and meaningful contributions to philosophy had Marcus Aurelius not sat down to journal his thoughts which are now one of the most famous and influential books on stoicism. Your journal may or may not stand the test of time and become an icon of philosophy to future generations, but if Marcus Aurelius, a Roman Emperor with a privileged life, found benefit and meaning in journaling, imagine how you will benefit

Stop being afraid of hard work. Everybody loves the grand idea of being in business and having endless money. Having a nice car and a big house is glorified in our society, but when it comes down to the nitty-gritty, no one wants to put in the work. Eventually, people give up, uninterested in doing what it takes to get where they want to be. So many of us want something for nothing.

Asking if you have a work-life balance is the wrong question. You need to ask yourself, do you have work-life happiness?

Albert Einstein once said, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

"Faced with crisis, the man of character falls back on himself. He imposes his own stamp of action, takes responsibility for it, makes it his own." Charles de Gaulle

Our next guest was motivated by Albert Einstein’s quote and embodies the words of de Gaulle. He is the first person in history to swim the entire 184 miles of the Willamette River in Oregon. If that wasn’t enough, In July of 2017, he accomplished another “historic first” by becoming the first person to swim the entire length of the River Shannon in Ireland raising money and awareness for the Childhood Cancer Foundation. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that he did this while he was dying of leukemia and lymphoma, and his doctors, family, and friends all begged him not to. He’s a 2x Cancer survivor, World Record Swim holder,  licensed clinical marriage & family therapist, and  Founder of Swimming In Miracles, it is a privilege to have the opportunity to speak to an American badass,  Mr. Dean Hall

Marriage can be complex and unpredictable. The reality is that one in two will end in divorce. The good news is that the divorce rates in this country have actually decreased. The decline in divorce rates could be attributed to the increase in the average age at marriage. In 2013, the average age at marriage for men was 29 and for women, it was 27. Age often begets maturity and a clearer idea of who we are and what type of person we want to be married to. At this stage, we are also more likely to be financially stable. But this can all change if you’re the husband and you lose your job, your business, or your mind

In this week's episode, there is a growing movement to reclaim the frame of what it means to be a man today. To some that evoke images of wild men like Genghis Khan or Ser Gregor ClegAne from Games of Thrones. Others are trying to reframe masculinity into something more ambiguous and androgynous. Some think it’s 1950s Mad Men-style and a few want to eradicate it altogether. The truth is, is that masculinity is — and always has been — filled with contradictions and mixed messages. But what is undeniable is that men and women are different and it’s our differences that make us better…together. Not better than each other.

Our next guest is a former US Army Ranger with numerous combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, if being in the sandbox wasn’t enough he went back as a contractor to protect the US Ambassador to Iraq in Baghdad. However, he’s not just some knuckle dragger with an affinity for guns, he’s a renaissance man and entrepreneur with two Master's degrees in Public Policy and Organizational Management. He’s been raising the alarm on the dawn of masculinity since 2018 with his acclaimed Podcast The Art of Masculinity which has been rated Top 5 podcasts on Masculinity by FeedSpot. He’s been helping men drop the ego and stay humble and in staying true to his knuckle-dragging frame he’s the founder of the SAVAGE system and Wild Man Experience. It’s my pleasure to have on the show an American Badass and fellow veteran. Mr. Johnny Elsasser.

The world is shifting under our feet, and rather than keep our balance most are running for cover. What I’m talking about is the Earth's trembling and deafening movement of censorship. Largely done by woke corporations pushing their own corporate narrative, arguably at the unofficial behest of the government.  It’s happing more frequently and more blatantly. Since cancel culture is no longer working and has backfired for the cancel mob, now corporations have been deployed to start culling and curtailing speak under the guise of content being inappropriate, graphic, mis or disinformation

This is the show for men who want to build their best selves and build a secure financial future (among much more!) And in building a secure financial future, men still are not getting involved in the market or saving enough for retirement. While Men are more likely than women to be investors. Women investors still outperform their male counterparts, according to a study from Fidelity Investments. This may be because women are more patient investors or because they are more apt to take and seek out financial and investment advice.

The thought that in order for a relationship to be effective you have to surrender your identity or yourself ahead of another person is insane. How can a woman look at you with respect and admiration if you're willing to give her your backbone and surrender your very identity and purpose? Real women want real men, not lapdogs.

Hopefully, after today we can help each other out and talk about 5 things you should absolutely never do for a woman.

In this week's episode, people continue to ask the same questions about porn that they have had for decades. Is porn good for us or bad for us? Is it moral? Is it empowering or damaging? Asking these questions, inevitability leads to an intense clashing of opinions and little else. So one question that is not being asked is, what is porn doing to men, and are we OK with that?

We chat with Josh Hudson, a licensed therapist with over a decade of real experience as a practicing clinician, specializing in relationships and behavior therapy. He's the founder and host of the "Pinnacle of Man", dedicated to helping other men achieve their highest potential in dating relationships in self-actualization.

He's been featured in documentaries, CBS articles, podcasts, and his YouTube channel has been viewed by millions of men around the world. And on top of all of this, we come to find out that he's a kick-ass soccer player.

To most, just the thought of losing a parent is devastating. Children grow up or at least should grow up, seeing their parents as Superman or Wonder Woman. These beings, larger than life, who have all the answers, who protect and inspire. The loss of a parent can be a devastating collapse of a central figure or pillar in their life that can take months, years, or even a lifetime to recover from. And occasionally, some never do. The problem is I can’t speak from experience only from observation.

People say they like the idea of open and honest dialogue, a constructive debate, an exchange of positions even if contrary to our own in the effort to see the other side. The problem is that it’s all bullshit. Most people only want to hear their own ideas reinforced and rarely want to discuss the other side without trying to browbeat and cudgel the opposing thought into submission or oblivion. This has created a generation of hardliners that refuse to engage in constructive debate and presentation of platforms without becoming hostile, visceral, or agreeing to disagree. It’s a zero-sum game now and everyone is losing. So how do we challenge opinions? We start with our own.

In this week’s episode, Hip hop culture has a bad reputation in some quarters, mostly because of its association with rap. The two have been bundled together with a range of negative connotations: bad language, misogyny, glorifying crime, violence, and drug use. Despite all this, hip hop has generated a huge fan base around the world with a wide demographic of listeners, mostly among youths. This raises the question, of whether the negativity commonly linked with rap music is not just one side of the coin and is it harmful to our young men

There is no exact definition for what a leader does. Each leader’s style of leadership is influenced by their personality and the challenges that they are faced with. The reason there are so many books on leadership, on how to manage people, how to lead people is not that we have all of these leadership gurus. Most of the people that write these books, can't lead a team around in a circle if they had to.  Leadership is not easy. That's why there are so many freaking books and seminars and tapes and gurus out there because where there's mystery there's margin.

**Everyone sees the winners at the podium and wants to be the next Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos. But rarely does anyone see the 18 hours days, 7 days a week, the hundreds if not thousands of rejections and doors closed in one's face. We forget the bills need to be paid and the bank doesn’t accept your dreams as collateral but you scheme and Machiavelli to make it happen…until it does. In The Hidden Hustle, we talk to entrepreneurs who are in the early stages of building their empire and they share with us the suck of starting a business that most never see and few want to talk about.

Our guest has been in the beauty and health industry for almost 2 decades, but in the last few years, this alchemist has been on his grind building his empire in botanically-based natural Melanin Skincare solutions. I’ve known this many for years as he’s been creating small-batch hand made products in his Brooklyn laboratory it’s our privilege to have on our first episode of “The Hidden Hustle”, Mr. Dane Castilllo**

The need for purpose is rooted in eons of generational evolution. So now that men are finding themselves nearly obsolete, the weakest of the group submit like sheep to the false narrative and swallow the blue pill just to be a part of a society that imposes manufactured indignation on men. Then there is another majority that may not see the matrix but are lost, confused, angry, and depressed because they have to purpose or have made the wrong things their purpose - like pursuing women ahead of pursuing purpose.

When it comes to dating, human nature can sometimes make us act in a self-destructive manner if it doesn't know when to end a relationship. The problem with most men is that even though they know that the relationship won't last, they still stick around to milk the sex to the last drop. This means that they will stay in the relationship until the woman finally decides to pack her bags and bailout first.

Welcome to the start of something old. Masculinity has been around since...well, the beginning of man. However, it seems that everywhere you turn there is an attack on masculinity, manhood, and even the very word, “man”.

Why are we starting Unordinary Men?

Well...someone has to! Today’s men or those coming of age are weaker than their fathers. Male suicide is at an all-time high. There are 6 women for every four men that are enrolled in college - the largest gender gap in history. There is an attack by politicians, activists, and the media on young boys and men coming of age that is preventing them from growing up to meet their full potential.
