Episode 51 -

The NBA Season is in full swing. Teams like the Knicks, Bulls, Heat, and Hawks are out to prove they are for real!
The Lakers and Nets still don't care about the regular season, but can they overcome regular season obstacles come playoff time? The Warriors are showing a championship pedigree, can the mix of young studs and veteran stars lead them to content for a title?

In the NFL, Aaron Rodgers will have to compete with the undefeated without his partner in crime. The Jets are a mess again.
Does Mahomes Suck?
Rami discusses all that and more on the latest episode of The Talk Show.

Episode 49:
In this episode of the talk show, I passionately discussed the Yankees' loss to the Red Sox in the AL Wild Card Game. I outlined what I feel is wrong with the team that allowed them to get to this point (spoiler: it's what I've been saying since the offseason).
I speculated as to whether this franchise would be willing to admit they have fallen from their graces and make the proper changes necessary to compete in today's league. What those decisions may be, remains to be seen.
Nest I went through the full slate of the NFL's Week 5 games, picked my winners, and discussed the top storylines heading into what should be an excellent week of NFL action, starting with tonight's Rams Seahawks game.

Episode 48:
I opened this episode by talking about the wild ending to the Yankees wild 2021 season (thankfully it's over).
Now, it's a new season as they travel to Boston to play their rival Red Sox in a one-game win or go home playoff game at Fenway Park on Tuesday night.
I offer an apology to Yankee slugger Giancarlo Stanton and, and pray that the Gerrit Cole we all hoped we would see when we gave him his bag of cash ($324 MILLION of it) shows up on Tuesday.
I shifted over to the NFL to talk about Rodgers Magic, Brady Belichick, the Jets victory, and all the league's top storylines in Week 4.
All that and more!

Episode 47:
I opened with my instant raw reaction to the crazy Monday Night Football game in Las Vegas. Derek Carr's ups and downs, Gruden's crazy, and the Ravens are trying to control the early-season chaos and avoid falling to 0-2 vs the Chiefs next week.
Next, I explained how week one's loss was a win for Zach Wilson and the Jets, but they gotta figure out the O-Line.
I ran through all my top storylines, amongst them, Dak's comeback season, the Bucs peak season, Rodgers disappointment, Lasic Jamies (names a work in progress), Clevelands expectations, and the week on overreactions.
I went 9-7 on my picks this week.
I closed by giving my 7 Super Bowl contenders and with some Yankee talk.

Part 2, as promised.
I talked about some updates with the podcast. Failed guests, new platforms, blogs are all part of the process.
I also take about my experience at the PGA BMW Championship (spoiler: I "met" Rory McIlroy), AKA the greatest sports experience of my life.
I witnessed the Ohtani unicorn and the Camden faithful.
I love Bryce Harper.
And I talked about the Yankees' peaks and valleys which turned into a late-night therapy session.

The New York Yankees woke up from their nightmare at MLB's Field of Dream and are now the hottest team in baseball.
Winners of 7 straight, including a 3 game sweep of their rival Boston Red Sox, my Yankees now find themselves in the top AL Wild Card spot, and in a prime position to make a run at the AL East Title over the seasons final 40 games. With the way this season has gone I had never thought they'd be here. Less than four weeks ago they were humiliated in 4 games at Fenway Park falling to 9 games behind Boston. Despite all that, here they are, and they took a unique path to get here.
In this episode, I talked all about the unlikely heroes and Italian stations who have carried the Bombers to this point, and how they can sustain this for the remainder of the season and ride it into the postseason.
I also touched on some talking points from Jets training camp as they saw a big offseason acquisition go down with a season-ending injury.
All that and more on the latest episode of The Talk Show with Rami.

Episode 44:
In this episode, Rami opens by talking about some updates for the podcast.
He then gives a very early forecast for the 2021-22 NBA season based on the draft and free agency thus far.
The episode then shifts to the NFL and its rapidly approaching season. Rami gives his top-10 QBs list and discusses the modern-day revolution of the position.
Finally, in what's become a weekly occurrence, Rami complains about the Yankees and tries to fix baseball (seriously Rob Manfred's gotta just hire him already!) He also looks forward to the greatly anticipated Field of Dreams Game in Iowa.

Episode 43:
I opened with my immediate reaction to the Knicks bringing Kemba Walker home to The Garden, and my overall reaction to the Knicks' free agency.
Next, I talked about the Lakers and realistic expectations for an aging team of mid-range shooters. I quickly ran through the moves around the Eastern Conference and talked about how that might shape up. Now that all these moves have happened where are the potential landing spots for Dame and Ben? and is a Beal trade still on the table.

I shifted to baseball and the Yankees Italian saviors, Gallo and Rizzo. the Yanks will make one last push to salvage the season as Cashman looks to save his job.
Another LA team making noise as the Dodgers continue to shock the baseball world with their endless moves.
Also, the Jets are still, just the same old Jets.

Episode 42:
In this episode I discussed the MLB trade deadline and particularly the Yankees wild moves and its implications on the rest of the season.
I also talked about what might be a reason for the Yankees shortcomings this season.
In the NBA the playoffs dictate the offseason. so, what does Giannis' rise and the Buck T-E-A-M championship mean for all the players rumored to be on the move this offseason?

Episode 41:
I sat down with my father to talk about this year's NBA Finals, which has been a culmination of all the life lessons we learn from sports and the reason we love sports, being brought to life over the course of a 4 game stretch by Giannis Antetokounmpo.
We then talked about what might be the Bucks ceiling and should there be a new approach to building a championship-caliber team after this year.
We had to talk about CP3's shortcomings in big spots, a storyline that he has carried with him throughout his travels across the league.
And speaking of travels, we (my father) did a deep dive into what my brother considers an elite "sport" -- Cycling. He tried to explain his newfound appreciation for the so-called sport while I watched the Yankees helplessly implode in Boston. what I did catch is there is a very important race coming up, so look out for that on Sports Center in the coming days!

In this episode, I got to interview Elie Kligman,
Eli is a Division 1 / Major League Baseball prospect.
Elie is also a practicing Orthodox Jew.
While Elie may "just" be a High School Senior, he and his story have gained global attention. While his dream has always been to play professional baseball, he is willing to risk it all for his religion, and to keep Shabbos.
