Given that March is Women’s History Month, we thought it would be an opportune time to gather a few Black women to discuss relevant issues that relate to Black womanhood. In efforts to center Black women in this conversation, we’ll be discussing a range of topics from misogynoir within rap to beauty standards.

We’ve gathered 7 students to host a discussion about Blackness in pop. culture and media including topics such as non-American Blacks portraying American figures in film, Black representation on reality tv, and much more.

Fueled by the recent public displays of racial injustice and discrimination across this country, American professional athletes are taking a knee and taking a stand. As forms of resistance continue to gain momentum around the sports world, college athletes should not be left behind.
