She is currently studying to become an Intimacy Director.

Today I'm getting into a topic that's near, dear, and close to my heart — the feeling that you're working your tail off and nothing's happening! In that moment, the very last thing we want to be told is to take a break...but sometimes that's actually what's needed. When you're training your body, the balance of effort and rest is what creates progress. But we're trained culturally to think that only effort creates progress. We're trained to think "if some effort is good, more must be better."

Today I want to talk about what happens when we're working our ass off and we're plateauing — or even getting worse! Sometimes we can feel like we're trying so hard, and we aren't seeing the results we want. When we start feeling like this, we may start to think the answer is to work harder, and getting down on ourselves, creating a cycle of fatigue and burnout that then makes us plateau even more. It can be vicious.
When we're in this mode, the last thing we want to hear is that we're doing too much, and the solution is to take a break or do less, but sometimes, that's exactly the solution that's required.

This Virgo season reading for the collective is coming in hot!
It's asking us to cut to the quick about what's really important to us by asking the most important question...at the end of my life, am I going to look back and be happy about the choices I made, or realize I lived my life in fear, trying to please others?
We're being asked to protect and guard the new project, business, or relationship in our life, increase our boundaries, and ask for more help, and increase our capacity to receive (which will be a challenge for us). When we do this, it will mean bringing more of our selves and more of our truth into our life. We might lose people in the process, but we're being asked to trust that there are more people - people who are more aligned for where we're headed - who will show up for us when we do.
Our guides are telling us to lean into trusting our hearts and our inner truth, and trust that we already have everything we need inside us to succeed in anything we want to do.
Our guidance to help us clarify what to move toward and away from is to remember not to live like we have forever - we don't! If you've been deferring your dreams and goals for years and you still have the same doubts, fears, and insecurities you've had for years, it's time to realize that you don't have forever to waste. The time is now!

Happy Pisces Season, fam! This episode kicks off with “Sunday Morning” by No Doubt. This song came through loud and clear for me in the morning before I drew our cards, and I had no idea why. I hadn’t heard the song in years! Once I did our reading I understood. The song talks about looking back at a past version of yourself where you had low self-esteem, compared yourself to others, and were desperate for someone else’s approval, but Gwen is clearly singing from a new empowered place where that is no longer the case. I feel the chorus in the voice of the other person, “I thought I knew you” - but they didn’t know the real you. The magnificent, empowered, fully expressed you.
This is very aligned with our card reading for Pisces Season. You are on the verge of a major growth spurt, that’s all about healing our addictions to caring about what other people think of us, and allowing other people’s perceptions of us to make us doubt ourselves, and our work.

My Fire bb’s, this one for us! If you have been a freelance/gig based worker for a long time and then transition into starting a business, you are probably locked in fire mode. Happy new year! It’s the time of year when a lot of people in the online business space - especially coaches, are posting 2021 Revenue numbers and screenshots of bank accounts. This can seduce us into believing that they must be good at coaching, know something important about business, or be the right coach for us…and it may not be true! It’s also the time of year where the diet/fitness industry is churning out big promise programs - and there’s something that these 2 industries have in common. People selling you the “one, best, right” way to do something for which there is no “one, best, right” way…and if the program doesn’t work for you it’s your fault. Right? Wrong. This is part two of a two-part talk about Goals. The questions submitted in UNSTUCK group were, “How do I get clear enough on what I want to even start manifesting or setting goals?” And, “My big goals make me feel set up to fail - how do I stay out of overwhelm?”
In this second part, we step into EARTH energy, as I give you 6 practical steps to stay focused and combat overwhelm as you work on big goals.
The steps we cover are:
- Be open to your big goal taking a long time, and that’s not wrong (it doesn’t HAVE to - but it can!)
- Map out the phases/steps in your big goal, put them somewhere you can see them . 2b. Sidebar step - be careful who you tell your goals to!
- Write out what signs will serve as PROOF that your plan is working/that you’re moving toward your goal.
- Analyze the positive AND negative consequences of getting what you want (not the ways it may go wrong, but the consequences that may feel like a loss/challenge to getting or going after what you want). Address the hardstuff head-on.
- Make a practice of ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. Give yourself CREDIT for things that are going well, and ACKNOWLEDGE each step along the way.
- Create a habit of visualizing/listening to/living in what it will be like when the goal is accomplished and STICK TO IT!
