The new hotel is being constructed in Downtown Gainesville, Florida - Home of the Fightin' Gators and the Brain Institute. Tom and his friends Cory and Cinemike sit down at Maude's Cafe, the Known Center of the Universe to weigh the merits. But their conversation quickly becomes overshadowed by the brutal cacophony of the erection until everything is ruined.
