is this my best mixing? surely no. did i get a little loose with the space echo? you ou ou tell ell ell me ee ee. did i have a good time recording this? allora! shoulda seen me dancin n sweatin the whole 59 minutes. had a ton of fun approaching a set this way. to echo a quote Claudio Casalini (thank you for picking up the name I just dropped) told us while driving back to Rome… “I don’t want to be a slave to the BPM.” I often am beholden to those beats per minute. trying to shake it and shake it while I shake it. hope it gets you shakin’ too! ciao! 🛵
the first day of summer is around the corner and Miss Frizzle has you covered. her contribution to Many Moods 05 is fit for any pool party. a non stop journey through international disco edits and percussive house - bright in the corners with wood blocks and warm in the low end with round punchy bass. lots of fun vocals on this one. It’s true what they say, Miss Frizzle… about to sizzle ♨️
from Miss Frizzle… “This is my call to summer. Pour yourself a fizzy drink, put on something vibrant, and help me call in the sun with a dance. The tasting notes: playful, earthy, and full of life" ⛱️

today is the one year anniversary of radio isaura!!! I can't believe it's already been a year and in the same breath it's kinda crazy it's only been a year. thanks to those who have listened since the beginning. your support means so much! if you're new or joined not that long ago, thank you for being here and I hope you enjoy all that is to come.
for this mix, I was gonna go classic radio isaura and just select songs. I pulled a ton of records - new and old. I started off the mix with this Japanese balearic stoner jam and was just gonna select throughout when I realized it was 110 bpm and I thought "well what else is lying around that's 110?" it's a slippery slope and I ended up improvising all the blends in this mix and ignoring every record I had initially pulled. was pulling records while the tracks were playing and selecting songs I didn't really know. really hearing them for the first time while spinning. turned out to be one of my fav mixes I've done. completely improvised and as always 100% vinyl.
I hope you dig and thank you for listening ⛲️
happy new year! 2023 is here and so is the first mix of the year. this one is spanning lots of my favs right now. edits of obscure italo, arabic, spanish, turkish and israeli disco, house and new beat. oof. seriously some of my fav records at the moment. rinse and repeat. as always this mix is 100% vinyl and mixed in one take. hope ya dig ⛲️
and if you wanna hear these cuts in person head to the newly opened let's go disco and cocktail club in art district! I'm there every thurs with my radio isaura weekly ANALOG FRUIT 🐯
this one will get you cozy with some kind of smoke, less lights more pillows. some of these are journeys. you'll enjoy where they take you. all vinyls ⛲️
this might be the most laid back radio isaura episode yet. been caught up trying to dig for the best Italo 12s I can find and dialing in my mixing skills but for this I just wanted to get back to selecting songs I really love. woke up some records that have been cat nappin' on the shelf. felt good to see them again. of course there's new friends as well. all here in a hour 40 vinyl mix. one take and no edits. best to throw it on and forget you did ⛲️
