In this episode of The Charge Cycle, Todd Trauman, CEO of e-Mission Control, talks to Jamie Madill, CFO turned Director of Sustainability at the Platinum Pro-Claim Group, a Canadian restoration contractor. Jamie is a leading expert in electrification and procurement for the restoration industry and Canada as a whole. He has helped seven group offices begin their journey in electrifying fleets and promoting sustainable practices.
Jamie’s advice is to start taking action towards sustainability, rather than being stuck in analysis paralysis. Even simple steps like creating a recycling area in the office can make a difference, as everyone has a responsibility to the planet. Jamie also advises to take steps towards sustainability ahead of regulations that require them, as “there's no business on a dead planet.”

On January 1, 2023, Washington State joined the ranks of cutting-edge states including California and Oregon in their implementation of the Clean Fuel Standard (CFS).
