This week’s message will make you rethink what you’ve been calling love, grace, and peace. Sometimes what we tolerate becomes what controls us, and what we refuse to confront becomes what destroys us. In this episode, we uncover a truth that every believer and every church needs to face.
This week we looked at Pergamum, the compromising church. They lived in a culture filled with idols, pressure, and temptation—and so do we. Jesus commended their faith but challenged them to stop blending in with the world around them. In this message we talk about the danger of small compromises, the difference between surviving and being faithful like Antipas, and how pride can slowly pull us away from truth. The call of Pergamum is clear: repent, stay humble, and hold fast to Christ. The promise is even clearer—He will sustain us, give us a new identity, and lead us into victory.
This week we continue our series A Letter to the Church by looking at Jesus’ words to the church in Smyrna. Though they faced poverty, slander, and persecution, they were reminded that God is eternal, God is faithful, and God Himself is the promise. Together we’ll explore what it means to live with an eternal perspective, to stand firm when culture pushes back, and to keep our eyes on the victor’s crown that only Christ can give.
This week we kick off our new series, A Letter to the Church, by looking at Jesus’ words to the church in Ephesus in Revelation 2. Ephesus was a city of wealth, influence, and spiritual power, with a church that was strong in truth and discernment. Yet Jesus challenged them with one piercing correction—they had lost their first love. In this message, we unpack what it means to hold fast to righteousness without losing intimacy, to remember where we started, to repent of cold devotion, and to return to a love that burns for Jesus.
This week at Restoration Church, we dive into Our Atmosphere, a message centered on Revelation 7:9–11. In heaven, we see a multitude gathered together in worship, marked by community, diversity, and the presence of God. That same atmosphere is what we are called to reflect here on earth.
