We have a tale of two narratives in this episode. The differences between the east and west campuses are substantial. With the exception of Hall 5, freshman living on east campus might make you feel like you're in jail. In addition to the bunkbeds, flooded halls, and concrete walls, there are many other nerve-wracking aspects that will be covered in more detail later. Everyone can agree that the food on west campus is better than the food on east. The living is also nicer on west than it is on east, in addition to the food. Although everyone wants to be on the east campus, since it is more active, we think that the west campus is better. East Campus can sometimes feel somewhat ghetto. Also, rules are less enforced on west, along with security being less strict than on east.

Parking at ASU is insane! ASUPD is so quick to call tow trucks on their students it’s not even funny. Not to mention the fact that my car (Milana) was just towed THIS MORNING. ASUPD wonders why they receive so many calls about fights occurring on campus because there is never enough parking. There havebeen countless incidents of student conflict over parking. We'll never understand why they have designated parking spaces for people like hall managers and student presidents. It gets dangerous at times when there is no parking and we have to walk long distances at night after parties, or even just being outside after hours. Given that we all pay for housing and for our tuition, we should have decent parking.

There is only one week till homecoming, and we already know that the campus will be OVERFILLED with visitors. We're talking about a campus that will be populated by residents and students who do not attend Albany State University. ASU increases its security for every homecoming. For some reason, security is stricter during homecoming than it is throughout the year. We find it frustrating that despite paying for housing and tuition, we have little control over who gets to stay in our dorms. Despite the unfortunate factors of homecoming, the weekly lineup for homecoming is the best part!  Majority of the students like the daily events that take place.   We will discuss the pop-up shop, different events, the tailgate and football. It will be LIT!
