The famous question, will you sponsor me, bro!? At some point in each of the sports we perform in, we've almost all wondered if we'll ever get a sponsorship. Who doesn't want to be!? Free gear, a cool name on your back, and fame!

Sponsors are a great thing to be a part of, no doubt. Lucky for us here at Hyperthreads, we have an excellent opportunity to connect with riders around the nation, both sponsored athletes, potential sponsors, and just a bunch of rad athletes overall. We receive the question, "Will you sponsor me?" a fair amount of times, and Spencer explains what he looks for in some of these athletes.

We also have Coach Kevin Day here at Hyperthreads, who is currently sponsored and has been sponsored by a variety of companies throughout his cycling career.

Tune into this week's episode as we hear Kevin explain what it's like to be sponsored and what it brings to you as a rider or athlete in the industry.

Tune into this week's episode as we discuss a little bit of "office drama" between the 2023 race season events and what is the fuel for our motivation this season.

For a lot of us, off-season training can be a love-hate relationship. It's not always easy to sit on a trainer for an hour or two; however, there are a lot of benefits that can come from it if structured correctly.

On this week's episode, we discuss a few topics such as off-season training, FTP tests, supplements we use for training, and, more importantly, we have one of our incredibly talented sponsored athletes, Rylan Schadegg, tell us more about him as an athlete in the CrossFit/Spartan racing industry.

With a shift in the global market, bike companies are reevaluating how they will combat inflation changes and the slowing down of bike sales. On the other end, gravel racing is still on the rise as the Unbound Gravel Race is growing as well as in other countries, and their gravel race series and drama is rising among the sport with changes. The changes or rules being put in place are more for the safety of the riders but have caused disagreements between having aero bars, drafting rules, attacking rules, and more.

The gravel industry in cycling has come a long way and, needless to say, quite the scene. What will happen with the bike industry moving forward?
Will there be more drama during the gravel race series we see in 2023?

Tune into this week's episode as we discuss the changes happening in the sport of cycling.
