Alesandro was instrumental in creating Monero Town in Argentina where 70% of merchants use and accept Monero.

At Anarchapulco 2023 we unveiled the cryptoification of an indigenous local currency Tumin. Juan Castro the leader of the Tumin project and the first casualty of the Bank Of Mexico's retribution against Tumin speaks about the need of non government money and the value of keeping it local.
My follow up to Juan is the digital aspect to adding a crypto tool to the Tumin quiver with Hush Smart Chains.

Today I joined the Monerotopia guys to talk about their role at Anarchapulco this year and some of the things that we have planned be sure to use coupon code crypto10 to save on tickets.
After hearing about this alternative currency to the Mexican Peso, Tumin. I had to get on my motorcycle and drive from Austin Texas to Papantla Veracruz Mexico and find out what the real story was behind it.
Upon arrival in Papantla it took me about 15 minutes to get my hands on some Tumin and arrange a meeting with Juan Castro Tumin's creator. Not mentioned in the video Juan Castro lost his job as a Professor at the Universidad De Veracruzana as a result of the law suit by the Bank of Mexico.
In my meeting with Juan I discovered his desire to take Tumin digital and we are currently working on making that a reality.
Juan has agreed to speak at Anarchapulco 2023 in February and we hope to have the digital version available at Anarchapulco.
5 years ago the biggest Tech Conference in Latin Talent-land.mx added Blockchain to it's lineup. Under the management of former Mexican Bitcoin Exchange Partner Jose Rodriguez of Bitso Blockchain Land has flourished and become a stand alone feature of Talent-land.mx.
For me watching the crypto industry grow since my entrance in 2013 it was clear by attending this conference that the variety of people interested in crypto is indeed vast.
Today I talked with a young Crypto YouTuber Mateo AKA Mad Crypto Mx with a surprising outlook on crypto that does not include bowing to the powers that be.
