I loved toys. The Sears “Wish Book” catalog was my bible for what I wanted for Christmas. I had and wanted a LOT of cool toys in my childhood.(my mother nicknamed me “Leonard “I Want” Riggs”) I tried to remember a lot of them that I had or wanted.
Summer boredom gets the best of me. Definitely NOT my favorite season, but often I am inspired when I am bored.
My mother passed away and I wanted to say a few words about her and my time as her caregiver.

Caregiving has its ups and downs, but ultimately I feel very fulfilled and love caring for my mom.

We had enough snow to make it an official “snow day” in Southern Illinois on Jan 25, 2023. It brings back fond memories of snow days in my childhood.
