On this episode, I had the pleasure of chatting with OSV winner and founder of Catholic in Recovery, Scott Weeman. His own personal story of recovery from addiction lead him to start this ministry to combine the 12 step program with the healing power of the Sacraments to allow the Catholic Church to more fully minister to people struggling with addiction.

I had the incredible opportunity of meeting with Kelly Breaux, co-founder of Red Bird Ministries. They recently won the OSV Challenge to help them in their mission of partnering with dioceses and parishes to provide the tools and resources to support families who have experienced the loss of a child from pregnancy through adulthood. She tells her story as well as gives advice to other Catholic creatives and entrepreneurs. You can learn more about Red Bird Ministries at redbird.love

In this third segment of the Spirit Catholic Radio interview, we discuss the origins of Fishers of Men and our inspiration for spreading the Gospel through this medium during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fr. Borowiak talks about the need for Catholics to SHOW how to live a faithful life in the way they live, not just what they talk about. How can you SHOW people Jesus through the way you document your life on social media?

Here is the next segment of our conversation on Spirit Catholic Radio from March 2021. Here we talk about what truth is, why we are lacking truth in today's world, and how spiritual conversations in the home shaped who we are today. As I listened to this, it motivated me to seek and live out the truth. I hope it does the same for you and reinvigorates your desire to be in a relationship with Christ, despite what the world is telling you right now.

Hello podcast listeners! Welcome to the Fishers of Men podcast. We'll be releasing all sorts of content here around the Catholic Church, evangelization, prayer, fatherhood, humor, coffee, and give updates on our missions, so be sure to subscribe.

This episode is the first of a series we did on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We recorded a handful of conversations in the fall of 2020 where we dove into the Catechism. In this first episode, we introduce ourselves and let you know what we did during quarantine.

Be on the lookout for the release of the rest of these conversations. We'll also be publishing other content on here, so stay tuned!
