Do you sometimes wonder Why we are here in this earth, what our purpose is, and where we go after we die? well ask no more because I am here to answer those very important questions which many of us at some point we ask ourselves. Through many experiences that I have had, and the many people I have spoke with I have come to understand more about people but most importantly what's dear to their hearts, and the many unanswered questions they have. I have studied religious literature and have served as a missionary in Kenya for the church of Jesus Christ of latter ay saints for 2 years.
Over nineteen hundred years ago, the Apostle Paul, in writing to the Saints at Ephesus, declared: “One Lord, one faith, one baptism.” (Eph. 4:5.) How far we have drifted over the intervening years, for there are now more than a thousand different churches claiming to be Christian.
Under President Gordon B. Hinckley’s inspired direction, temples are now more accessible than ever. Inscribed on each temple are the words “Holiness to the Lord.” That statement designates both the temple and its purposes as holy. Those who enter the temple are also to bear the attribute of holiness. It may be easier to ascribe holiness to a building than it is to a people. We can acquire holiness only by enduring and persistent personal effort. Through the ages, servants of the Lord have warned against unholiness. Jacob, brother of Nephi, wrote: “I would speak unto you of holiness; but as ye are not holy, and ye look upon me as a teacher, [I] must … teach you the consequences of sin.”
Heavenly Father’s plan of happiness is ultimately to have you and your family live with Him forever. In sealing rooms within the temple, marriages between a man and a woman are performed. There, a man and a woman kneel and join hands across a sacred altar to be married for this life and for eternity. This eternal marriage is called a temple sealing, and children born into such marriages are also sealed to their families forever. Being sealed as a family is the crowning ordinance of the temple and the greatest of God’s blessings for His children.
Literally the house of the Lord. The Lord has always commanded His people to build temples, holy buildings in which worthy Saints perform sacred ceremonies and ordinances of the gospel for themselves and for the dead. The Lord visits His temples, and they are the most holy of all places of worship. The tabernacle erected by Moses and the children of Israel was a portable temple. The Israelites used it during their exodus from Egypt. The best-known temple mentioned in the Old Testament is the one built by Solomon in Jerusalem (2 Chr. 2–5). It was destroyed in 587 B.C. by the Babylonians and was restored by Zerubbabel about 70 years later (Ezra 1–6). Part of this temple was burned in 37 B.C., and Herod the Great later rebuilt it. The Romans destroyed the temple in A.D. 70.
Family history is discovering and learning more about our family members and gathering and preserving information about them. It is also performing saving ordinances for them in temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
We are to have sexual relations only with our spouse to whom we are legally married. No one, male or female, is to have sexual relations before marriage. After marriage, sexual relations are permitted only with our spouse.
The Lord revealed the Word of Wisdom to the Prophet Joseph Smith. In this revelation we are warned to abstain from alcohol, tobacco, and hot drinks, meaning coffee and tea. Later prophets have taught that we should not use any substance that contains illegal drugs or harmful and addictive substances. The Word of Wisdom also teaches that we should eat meat sparingly and that we should eat grains, fruits, and vegetables.

Christ has established a church when he came on the earth but it fell away due to the wickedness and the hard hearted people and the great darkness was upon the earth and then the Lord later restored the Church as the Lord saw that people were ready to have the gospel on the earth again.
