E18 The Importance of Perspective (Decide What You Want - Not What You DON’T Want) |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “To change ourselves effectively, we first had to change our perceptions.” ― Stephen R. Covey It is the job of the conscious mind to decide what you want by selecting the goals you tell it you want to achieve. It is easier to determine what you don’t want than what you do what. As humans, we have a strong desire to move away from pain. This is a survival mechanism. The problem occurs when we set goals in a similar fashion. The mind does not think in negatives and says “as you wish” to whatever you tell it you want (or don’t want). Either way it is framed, you will get more of it. To spend time and effort concentrating on what you do NOT want is not rational. Stop it!

E17 What Rational Thought Can and Cannot Do! |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Never make crucial decisions when angry. The rage that clouds judgment fades and only its consequences linger thereafter.”― Stewart Stafford It is important to remember that our automatic mechanism can function as a FAILURE MECHANISM just as easily as it functions as a SUCCESS MECHANISM. The difference depends on the data you give it to process and the goals you set for it. It is a goal striving mechanism and will find a match for whatever data you give it. Many of us subconsciously and unknowingly set FAILURE GOALS when we hold negative attitudes and constantly picture failure in our imagination. This is key - your automatic mechanism does not reason about or question the data you feed it. It just processes what you give it and reacts appropriately to it. It is very important to give the automatic mechanism true facts at all times without adding perceptions or interpretations.

“Convictions are more dangerous enemies of truth than lies”. —Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche Every human being is hypnotized by ideas they have accepted from others and by ideas they have repeated to themselves or convinced themselves are true. Hypnotic suggestions can remove the ability of an athlete to lift a pencil or surpass what strength they thought they had. Hypnosis is not adding or subtracting anything from these people. It is the suggestion of a negative idea that either causes them to defeat themselves or exceed what they thought was possible for them to do. You are fully resourced. Everything you need for your success is within you, regardless of how many past failures you have had. You have the power to do things you never dreamed possible. This power becomes available to you as soon as you change your beliefs around them.

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.– Eleanor Roosevelt At least 95% of people have their lives darkened by feelings of inferiority to some extent and to many more these feelings of inferiority are a serious handicap to success and happiness. Feelings of inferiority originate from our conclusions regarding facts and our evaluation of experiences … not from the actual facts or experiences. Because we think and believe and assume we should be a certain way we feel miserable and conclude there is something wrong with us. Then the next logical conclusion is to reason that we are not good enough. All this happens because we have allowed ourselves to be hypnotized by the idea that “I should be like everyone else”. This can lead a person with an inferiority complex to overcompensate by striving for superiority.

“Confidence has no competition.” – Anonymous You are complete and fully resourced. Nothing more needs to be added to you. We judge ourselves and measure ourselves against other people’s “norms” instead of against our own. When we do this we always, without exception, come in second place. You as a person are not in competition with any other person. There is no other person on this earth who is like you. You are an individual. You are unique. You are not supposed to be like any other person and no other person is supposed to be like you.

“Since most problems are created by our imagination and are thus imaginary, all we need are imaginary solutions.” –Richard Bandler Physical relaxation plays a key role in the dehypnoziation process. Our currently held beliefs, good or bad, true or false, were formed without effort, through repetition over time. Our habits, whether good or bad, have been formed the same way. It is our imagination that hypnotizes us with the thoughts we continue to have over and over. Physical relaxation practice daily brings about an accompanying mental relaxation and relaxed attitude that enables us to better consciously control our automatic, hypnotizing mechanism. Physical relaxation is also a powerful influence in dehypnotizing us from negative attitudes and reaction patterns. We cannot be in two states at the same time.

The Role Imagination Plays in Your Success - Imagination ALWAYS Wins |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “We are more often frightened than hurt, and we suffer more from imagination than from reality. – Seneca We act, or fail to act, not because of “will” like many believe, but because of imagination! We always perform based on what we believe to be true about ourselves and our circumstances. We will never outperform our self-image. What creates our self-image? What we imagine to be true about ourselves. Even your nervous system gets involved in imagination. It can’t tell the difference between an imagined experience and a real experience and will alway react appropriately to what you think or imagine to be true.

E10 Perception Determines Action and Behavior |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”― Albert Einstein The human brain and nervous system are engineered to react automatically and appropriately to the problems and challenges we are faced with. For example, you don’t have to stop and think before deciding to run from danger. It happens automatically. There is the truth of things and then there is our perception of the truth. This is slightly different from the concept we explored in episode 9. Now we are looking at how we act and feel based on the images we hold from past experiences instead of looking at things the way they really are. If our ideas and mental images of ourselves are distorted or unrealistic, then our reaction to our environment will also be distorted and unrealistic.

E11 Why Not Imagine Yourself Successful! |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless. – Jamie Paolinetti Why not imagine yourself successful. What a thought! How much time and energy we spend imagining everything that could go wrong. What if we put even half as much energy into imagining all that could go right! Mental practice makes perfect. If we picture ourselves performing a certain way, it is almost the same as the actual performance. Mental rehearsals are a first step to enforcing our imagined success. Mentally picturing the desired end result forces you to use positive thinking and can then allow your servo-mechanism to take over and literally find your desired results in the world.

How to Find Your BEST Self |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz The power of imagination created the illusion that my vision went much farther than the naked eye could actually see. – Nelson Mandela “Who do you want to become?” That is a much different question than “what do you want to achieve.” There is no achievement without first becoming the person who has it. What needs to change? If you were to divide your life into sections, which section needs the most attention? Finance, Family, Career, Recreation … Awareness of what needs to change is the first step to finding your best self. Now comes the hard part, making the change. Is there a relationship that is no longer working? A friendship that is all give and no take? Are you leaking money in your finances? Pick one area and imagine how your best self would handle it. Then begin to take those steps to realize your best self.

E1 A Healthy Self Image is the Key to Success |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “A strong, positive self-image is the best possible preparation for success.” Joyce Brothers Self image is built on our own beliefs about ourselves. Most beliefs about ourselves have unconsciously formed from our past experiences of both success and failure, humiliations and triumphs and the way other people have reacted to us especially in childhood. The beliefs become a picture and become “true” to us. We don’t question their validity and act as if they are true even if they are not. We can change our self image by replacing past beliefs with new ones. Begin to get a clear image of the “you” that has your desired results. What is different about that image than the current one you hold? Notice the differences and begin making small changes every day to become the person you see in the “you” who has your desired results. Repetition over time is the best way to create a new “you.”

E2 All Results Are Consistent with Self-Image |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “The past is not simply the past, but a prism through which the subject filters his own changing self-image.” – Doris Kearns Goodwin We always act like the person we believe ourselves to be and can not act any other way regardless of conscious efforts or will power. We believe we are a failure. We will find a way to fail despite good intentions. Our self image becomes a foundation for our entire personality, behavior and circumstances and our results and experiences then seem to verify and strengthen that image. Whether we think we can or we think we can’t we will always prove ourselves right. Monitor your thinking and determine it is consistent with the results you want to achieve. Can you see yourself living a day in the life having the results you want? Start with small changes at first and stay with it. Soon you won’t even recognize the person you were before.

E3 The Self-Image Can be changed |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Accept what is. Let go of what was. Believe in what will be”. - Anonymous Most people fail to change their habits, personality, way of life or self image because they focus all their efforts on changing their outside world. Positive thinking can only take us so far. We have to change the image we see of ourselves. Positive thinking is only a patch or a crutch added to an old self image. We literally need to SEE ourselves differently in our mind’s eye. It is impossible to think positively about a situation as long as we hold a negative concept of ourselves. Once the concept of “self” is changed, other things consistent with the new concept of who we are at our core begin to be accomplished easily and without much effort.

E4 GOALS Are IMAGES - Their Success or Failure is Determined by Our Self Image |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “See it, believe it, achieve it. ” — Lori-Ann Muenzer The subconscious mind is a creative, goal seeking machine. It is impersonal and works automatically to achieve goals of success or failure depending on the goals YOU set for it. Give it “success goals’ and it functions as a success mechanism. Give it negative goals and it acts just as impersonally and just as faithfully as a failure mechanism. The key “goal achieving image” is our self image. It must have a clear-cut goal, objective or problem to work on. Just be sure to form it according to what you WANT and not what you DON’T WANT!

Discover Your Success Mechanism Every person has a success seeking mechanism within them. It is impersonal and works according to the information it is given. There is a law in the universe that says if one thing exists, so does its opposite. That means that every person also has a failure mechanism. The key to activating our success mechanism and using it to achieve our goals lies in the information we give it. Let’s explore ways to activate our success instinct on our way to goal achievement.
E5 We Have A Built-In Success Mechanism |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Successful people begin where failures leave off. Never settle for ‘just getting the job done.’ Excel!” —Tom Hopkins The universe operates as a “Success Computer.” Everything in nature is successful. Humans are also part of nature and operate within the “success computer” too. The difference with humans is that we also have free will to choose. It is the choices we make that determine what data we feed the “success computer.” It will always succeed no matter what data it is given. WE tell the “Success Computer” what result we want by what we tell it to look for. If we tell the computer to look for “failure” it will succeed in finding us “failure.” If we tell it to find us success, it will also work to find us “success.”

E6 How to Identify Your Success Instinct |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life—and that is why I succeed.” —Michael Jordan All living things have a Success Instinct. A squirrel doesn’t need to be taught how to thrive. It automatically knows how to prepare for winter and when to begin the process. Nobody has to tell the squirrel to gather nuts or where to store them for winter. Likewise, a bird does not need to be taught to fly or how to navigate the skies. It doesn’t need a GPS to know where to go. Humans have a success instinct that is even more complex and not limited to just self-preservation and procreation. Our success instinct goes beyond survival. Unlike animals, humans can select their goals and imagine their future. Just because we can, doesn’t mean we do. We activate our super-charged success instinct when we intentionally select goals and use our Creative Imagination to dream up a better future. Doing this also activates our Success Mechanism or goal seeking part of us!

E7 How Your Success Mechanism Works |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Your mind knows only some things. Your inner voice, your instinct, knows everything. If you listen to what you know instinctively, it will always lead you down the right path.” Henry Winkler Your brain and nervous system work much like a computer and when they are working together towards a goal, they become what is known as a “Success Mechanism.” Learn to trust your Success Mechanism and allow it to do its work. Don’t jam it up by becoming too concerned or too anxious whether or not it will work. You have to “let it work” instead of trying to “make it work.” Your success mechanism will continue to gather information even if it is in the form of mistakes and temporary failures. All servo-mechanisms achieve their goals by negative feedback and ‘recalculating.”

E8 Two Types of Success Mechanisms and How to Make Them Work For You |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.” —John Wooden Your brain finds answers to problems in one of two ways. The first way is to know that the answer exists and scan the environment, rejecting one answer after another, until the object is found. This type is similar to an interceptor missile or autopilot on a plane. The second way happens when the answer is not known and our objective is to discover or locate it. We must assume the answer exists somewhere if we have been given the question. It is our job to find the answer using one of the two types of Success Mechanisms. Many people make the mistake of interfering with their success mechanism by demanding to know “how” before the goal is clearly established. The “how” only comes after you have formed a clear mental picture of the goal you want to create.

E46 Gaining Power Through the “Master Mind” |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Mastermind and collaborate with other smart entrepreneurs if they have futures that are even bigger than their present." - Yanik Silver The term “Master Mind” as we are using it is “the coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose.” The human mind is a form of energy, a part of it being spiritual in nature. “No two minds ever come together without, thereby, creating a third, invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a third mind.” In episode 42 we talked about using mediation to create your dream team and then become them. This is different. Now we are suggesting the importance of finding real people to form a dedicated team to gain power, energy and achieve goals in a coordination of knowledge and effort.

E47 How to Multiply Your Business Brain Power |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Wasting brain power ruminating about things you can't control drains mental energy quickly. The more you think about problems you can't solve, the less energy you'll have leftover for more productive endeavors.” Amy Morin Our brain can be compared to an electric battery. It is a well-known fact that a group of electric batteries will provide more energy than a single battery. The brain functions in a similar way. A group of brains together provide more thought energy than a single brain, just as a group of batteries provide more energy than a single battery. This metaphor makes it obvious that “two heads are better than one!” Caution - we take on the nature, the habits and the power of thought of those who we associate with in this way. Make sure to choose wisely.

E45 The Power of Organized Effort in Business |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Success is dependent on effort.” – Sophocles Plans are useless and lifeless without sufficient power and energy to put them into action. The energy we are referring to is “organized effort.” There has to be enough organized effort to transform desire into its business equivalent. Organized effort is produced through the coordination of effort of two or more people who work together toward a common goal. Organized knowledge comes from three sources: The place of ideas (Hill calls it “Infinite Intelligence”) Accumulated experience Experiment and research. If we look at the three major sources of knowledge it is evident that it is more difficult to do it alone, especially if the plans are comprehensive and if the goal is large. The bigger the dream, the more important it is to use the power of organized effort.

E48 The Power of Positive Emotions in Business |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “It is not a person or situation that affects your life; it is the meaning you give to that person or situation, which influences your emotions and actions. Your choice is to change the meaning you gave it or to change your response, in order to create the outcome you want.” ― Shannon L. Alder Success is shy and elusive. The power of positive emotions, when mixed with faith, desire and persistence and applied through a plan set into action leads to the success you want in your business and in life. Faith is not enough. Desire is not enough. Persistence is not enough. A definite plan put into action is the key to success. Poverty needs no plan. It needs no help and takes little effort. Riches need to be “attracted.” As we close this season, go back and listen to previous episodes again. Read Think and Grow Rich and connect with us. Let us become part of your Master Mind journey.

E44 Desire Is the Starting Point - Meditation Is The Finishing Touch |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Learn to be calm and you will always be happy” – Paramahansa Yogananda Everything has a rhythm. We start with desire and then along the way we BECOME the person over time who has the success we want. Sometimes we need to slow down in order to move forward. Mediation is the tool that slows us down long enough to see the next step in the staircase. True success comes with understanding .. understanding ourselves, others, the laws of nature and ultimately the recognition and understanding of happiness.

E43 The Capturing Source of Inspiration |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Don't wait for your ship to come in. Swim out to it.” – Steve Southerland There is a part of us that knows things beyond our five senses. This is the place of inspiration. It usually comes quickly and must be captured in the moment. When hit with inspiration, it is important to write it down or it will leave as fast as it came. Know where inspiration becomes active for you and prepare ahead of time as best as possible. It typically hits in an inopportune place because we are in a meditative state.

E42 Create Your Dream Team…and Then Become Them! |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “With meditation, you become a sensitized superhero, completely in control, with endless possibilities at your fingertips.” — Tara Stiles The next best thing to be truly great is to emulate the great. Do this by feeling and acting like the members of your dream team! Human beings imitate what they see. There is a study that showed when you are in rapport with another person, you actually start mimicking their mannerisms. We have been taking on other people’s mannerisms since we were children, but never had a choice. Now, we can use this ability to intentionally take on the best qualities of leaders and business owners we want to be like and literally change our character in this way. Use your imagination to acquire all the positive traits from your Dream Team and reprogram those automatic parts of your personality that were learned through family and friends at an early age.

E38 The 2 Biggest Fears That Block Success |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “The enemy wants to steal our peace and keep us stirred up, anxious, fearful, upset, and always in a stance of waiting for something terrible to happen at any minute.” - Stormie Omartian The six basic fears are Fear of Poverty, Fear of Criticism, Fear of Ill Health, Fear of Loss of Love of Someone, Fear of Old Age and Fear of Death. Fear of Poverty is the most destructive fear because it paralyzes the faculty of reason, destroys the faculty of imagination, discourages initiative, leads to uncertainty of purpose, encourages procrastination, wipes out enthusiasm and makes self control impossible. The fear of poverty is the most difficult to master. The symptoms of the Fear of Poverty include indifference, indecision, doubt, worry, over caution and procrastination. Fear of Criticism - this fear is almost as universal as the fear of poverty and its effects are just as fatal to personal achievement, mainly because it destroys initiative and discourages the use of the imagination. Symptoms of the Fear of Criticism include self-consciousness, lack of poise, indecisive personality, inferiority complex, extravagance, lack of initiative and lack of ambition.

E39 The Disaster of Destructive Thinking |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results.” - Willie Nelson Fear gets translated into worry through indecision. Reach a decision to not worry and most of the hard work is already done. We can kill the habit of worry in all forms by reaching a general, blanket decision that nothing life has to offer is worth the price of worry. With this decision will come poise, peace of mind and calmness of thought which will bring happiness. You have the power to feed your mind whatever thought impulses you choose. With this privilege comes the responsibility of using it constructively. You are the master of your thoughts. We can influence, direct and eventually control our own environment, making our life what we want it to be - or we can neglect to exercise the privilege that is ours, to make our life to order or allow life and its circumstances to toss us around like the waves of the ocean. E40 How to Protect Yourself From Negative Influences |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “NEGATIVE THINKING IS THE ONLY PROBLEM IN LIFE.” “The biggest problem any of us ever face is our own negative thinking.” - Anonymous You can protect yourself against negative influences of your own making or as the result of the activities of negative people around you by using willpower to build a wall of immunity against negative influences in your own mind. Napoleon Hill says, “Recognize the fact that you, and every other human being, are by nature, lazy, indifferent, and susceptible to all suggestions which harmonize with your weaknesses.” OUCH! Deliberately look to be around people who influence you to think and act for yourself. Then guard your thoughts! Without a doubt, Hill says, the most common weakness of all human beings is the habit of leaving our minds open to the negative influence of other people.

“The great leaders of business, industry, finance, and the great artists, musicians, poets, and writers became great because they developed the faculty of creative imagination.” - Napoleon Hill. E35 Imagination Is The First Key to Your Success Mechanism |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere.” – Albert Einstein We always act, feel and perform in accordance with what we imagine to be true about ourselves and our environment. Your nervous system can’t tell the difference between an imagined experience and a real experience. Truth determines Action AND Behavior. Your nervous system reacts appropriately to what you think or imagine to be true. We therefore act and feel, not according to what things are really like, but according to the image your mind holds of what they are like. If our ideas and mental images are distorted or unrealistic, our reactions to our environment will also be inappropriate.

E29 Your Subconscious Mind and Success |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “To shift your life in a desired direction, you must powerfully shift your subconscious.” – Kevin Michel Conscious mind and the five senses. We are taught at a very early age to live life through the five senses of sight, smell, taste, touch, and hear. That is good for survival but not for living to our full potential. Subconscious mind and the six intellectual faculties. Imagination - Imagination is probably the most powerful of all the faculties. Nothing has ever been created that was not first imagined. Intuition - Intuition is your inner wisdom – your inner knowing. Although many people confuse intuition with a 6th sense, it is one of your mental faculties. Perception - Perception is what you believe to be true; it’s your belief system and it determines your attitude. Memory - Memory is your historical past; it is retaining past experiences. You can use this memory muscle to your advantage but unfortunately many people dwell on past mistakes rather than past successes and make decisions based on these mistakes. Reasoning - Reasoning is an essential part of the mind. It is the logical faculty that allows you to think and plan. Reasoning makes sense of things and uses logic to draw conclusions. Will - Will is the ability to laser focus on an idea or project – to concentrate. Your will includes self-discipline and willpower. The influence of beliefs and habits. Habits are beliefs that become automatic. Beliefs drive behavior which leads to results.

E30 How to Create New Success Habits - It’s Not What You Think |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality. -Earl Nightingale The 21 Day Lie - energy can’t be created or destroyed. We replace the negative habit’s energy with positive energy habits and need to continue to supply the positive energy or the negative habit re-emerges like a weed. There are two ways to create a new belief. One way is “Repetition over time.” We can build new “habit muscles” by continually doing the same thing time after time until your body starts doing it on autopilot. But even on autopilot - there still has to be a programmer to recalculate and adjust course. The second way to create a new belief is through a Sudden Emotional Event.

E21 How to Transition From Follower to Leader |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“A leader is one who knows the way, shows the way and goes the way.” – John C. Maxwell First, decide if you want an active leadership role in your company. With leadership comes more compensation and more responsibility. If you think about it, most great leaders started as followers. At some point, there was an activating event that allowed them to assume the role. However, not everyone who has the opportunity to lead will take it. When assuming a leadership role, look for occasions to mentor and groom other leaders.

Ways to make yourself worth more include personal growth and development, coaching and technical skills training. E9 Faith, Emotion and Goal Achievement |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “Faith is the ‘eternal elixir’ which gives life, power, and action to the impulse of thought!” - Napoleon Hill
Faith is the visualization of, and belief in the attainment of desire. As we are using the term, faith is an emotion, more than a religious feeling. Faith, along with love and sex are the most powerful of all the major postive emotions.
Faith is the chemist of the mind. When faith is blended with thought, the subconscious mind instantly picks up the vibration and translates it to its spiritual equivalent. There are no limitations to the mind except those we acknowledge. Both poverty and riches are the offspring of thought.

All thoughts that have been emotionalized (given feeling) and mixed with faith, begin immediately to translate themselves into their physical equivalent or counterpart.
The subconscious mind and your built in servo mechanism will always turn your dominating thoughts into their physical equivalent by the most direct and practical means available.
A mind dominated by positive emotions becomes favorable for the state of mind known as faith and can, at will, give the subconscious mind instructions which it will accept and act on it immediately. The emotions, or the ‘feeling’ portion of thoughts, are the factors which give thoughts vitality, life and action.

Like the wind that carries one ship east and another west, the law of autosuggestion will lift you up or pull you down, according to the way you set your sails of thought.
The subconscious mind makes no distinction between constructive and destructive thoughts. It works with the material we feed it and begins at once to find a match in order to translate our thoughts into reality.
Just like electricity can turn the wheels of industry when used constructively or take out a life if used inappropriately, so with the law of autosuggestion can lead to peace and prosperity or misery, failure and death according to your degree of understanding and application of it.

E12 The Self Confidence Formula |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz “With confidence you have wong before you’ve started” - Marcus Garvey
The self confidence formula is a strong belief in yourself and your abilities. This new habit of self confidence comes by repetition over time. Autosuggestion and positive thinking are the vehicle to get there.
The more we focus on our small wins the more self confidence we gain. Demand of yourself persistent, continuous action towards the attainment of your goals and step by step you will see its attainment roll out before your eyes.
Guard your thoughts knowing that your dominating thoughts always produce results. Believe that through positive thinking you can obtain what you persistently hold in your mind. Become the person who has the results you desire!

E4 Positive and Negative Emotions Have a Role in Your Success |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“See yourself living in abundance and you will attract it.” - Rhonda Byrne
All emotions create a vibration in the body. That vibration connects with like vibrations to attract or repel people and resources.
Every thought produces an emotion. Negative emotions have very powerful vibrations and tend to run rampant if we are not intentional and mindful about monitoring our thinking.
Be very mindful about which emotion gets the most time in your thoughts. It is easier to focus on negative emotions because they can be very powerful. When you catch yourself giving energy to negative thoughts and emotions, take some time to find its opposite and refocus your thinking on the outcome you want to produce instead of what you want to avoid.

“If you realized just how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought.” Anonymous
The choices you have are an expression of your awareness. In order to find more choices, we need to raise our awareness. That is done by what we allow into our awareness through outside sources.
The subconscious mind is the sending station and the conscious mind is the receiving station of the mind. The brain is just a muscle to allow the sending and receiving to take place.
When you want to use your broadcasting station of the brain you have three choices: the subconscious mind, creative imagination and autosuggestion. What you broadcast out will look for matches in your environment and attract them as results in your life and business.

E2 Attitudes → Feelings → Actions = Results |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“The only disability in life is a bad attitude” - Scott Hamilton
Attitude is a way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior.
Our Attitude (our thoughts) about something creates feelings (good or bad) and those feelings determine what actions we take. Ultimately, those actions give us our results.
If we want to change our results, all we need to do is change our thinking. Once we change our thinking, it will create different feelings which allow us to choose different actions that give us different results.

The fastest way to turn thoughts into things is by mixing the thoughts with definiteness of purpose, persistence and a burning desire for their transformation into physical form.
Success comes to those who are success conscious while failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become failure conscious.
Pay attention to your thinking. Negative thoughts can take you away from success faster than positive thoughts can bring you the desired results you want.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change - Wayne Dyer
In nature there is a law called the Law of Polarity or law of opposites. This law says that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. In other words, if there is an “up” there must also be a “down.” If there is a “problem” there must be a “solution,” we just need to change our perspective in order to see it.
Our perspective is not determined by what we see. It’s determined by how we see it, and that comes from who we are.
A person with scarcity thinking sees a situation and says “No way” while a person with abundance thinking thinks “There has to be a way!” Change to an abundance perspective instead of scarcity and the door opens to innovation and possibilities.

What the mind can conceive and believe, and the heart desire, you can achieve. ~ Norman Vincent Peale
Abundant thinkers possess a high belief in many areas of life. They believe the answer is “yes” and they also believe they will find a way to make it happen.
Abundant thinkers believe differently in four different areas. They believe in themselves and say “There is more to me than what people see.” They believe in others and say “There’s more to others than I can see.” They believe in today and say “There’s more in today than I can see.” They believe in tomorrow and say “There’s more in my future than I can see.”
Know that beliefs drive behavior. Lack of belief, or scarcity thinking, holds us back. We hesitate, not because we can’t do something, but because we don’t have the confidence in ourselves. Believe in yourself and believe you can!

When you cease to dream, you cease to live - Anonymous
Scarcity and Abundance live in two different worlds. Each time we say “No” to a growth possibility we are standing in agreement with our current limitations.
“No” is limiting and easy because we don’t have to do anything or go anywhere. It is also comforting because it feels familiar. It is deceiving because it feels safer and it is very crowded because that is where average people live.
Living on the other side of “Yes” is exciting because you need creativity to help you figure things out. It is challenging because new paths are not easy to take. Most importantly, it is rewarding because once you begin saying “yes” you will usually find more places to say “yes.” The “yes” mindset says, “We will find a way.”
Abundance is in crucial ways a state of mind - Suzen Orman
As business owners, we can never reach our full potential in business or life without having an abundance mindset. It is important to “think big” and then 10x it.
Abundance mindset is the belief that there is more than enough to go around.
Abundant thinkers tend to like to say “yes” and then start to think of ways to make it happen. They realize that how they think determines the choices they make. These choices add up to our results.
Abundance thinking encourages us to make choices that expand our possibilities. Scarcity thinking causes us to make choices that diminish our potential. How we respond to any situation is determined by which voice we allow to speak louder. Learn to recognize your Abundance Voice and find ways to turn abundant choices into your abundant results.

E28 Follow through even when it hurts |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“You cannot manage your life if you do not manage yourself.” - John C. Maxwell Self-discipline is the secret sauce that puts you ahead of the pack. The willingness to continue in the spite of problems is the quality of a winner. Life continually gets busier and more complicated. You can’t have any more hours in the day but you can make the most of the time you do have. Self-discipline is where time and priorities meet. Reflect on what excuses have become “normal”. Write the ones you use the most and then write a counterargument to each so you can be more self-disciplined.

“If you spend all of your time on highly productive tasks, by the end of the day, you will have ‘crowded out’ all the unproductive activities that might have distracted you from your real work.” - Brian Tracy Do the first things first. Knowing your priorities is the best way to overcome distractions. Successful people are time conscious. They know how to spend the time they have and they understand that every minute matters. Ask yourself, “Am I doing unimportant or convenient things at the expense of the essential?” Maximize your time by setting upfront expectations and setting external deadlines.

“Discipline is like a muscle. The more we train it, the better we become in developing it.” - Anonymous People have written extensively about how to be successful. The problem is that we live in a microwave society that wants to see results in 30 seconds or less. In addition, culture says we should do what we feel and wait for inspiration. Emerson says to do the thing and then we get the energy to do the thing. Motivation gets us started but discipline gets us across the finish line. Episode 22 The Hero’s Journey to Entrepreneurship |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“The tragedy of life is often not in our failure, but rather in our complacency; not in our doing too much, but rather in our doing too little; not in our living above our ability, but rather in our living below our capacities.” Civil Rights activist Benjamin E. Mays
Joseph Campbell coined the phrase “The Hero’s Journey” and it seems fitting to apply the hero’s journey to today’s episode as we explore how to respond to the different stages and the results we can expect.
There are three main stages of the hero’s journey. It starts with the call and acceptance of the call then moves to the abyss and struggles where a mentor shows up to help and guide us and finally ends with a new found success and a return home to share the story in order to inspire others.
When it comes to entrepreneurship, we all want to achieve great results. One key to this is the ability to recognize what stage of the journey we are on so we know where we are in the growth cycle of our business.

Episode 21 How to Be A Highly Productive Business Owner |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“Everything worthwhile in life - everything you want, everything you desire to achieve, everything you want to receive - is uphill.” - John C. Maxwell
Productivity can be increased dramatically and immediately if we are highly intentional about it. It can be increased the most regardless of the level of giftedness a person has. If you are willing to work at it you can be successful at becoming more productive.
Think of productivity as either climbing a hill or sliding down it. In the downhill slide nothing is worthwhile, we tend to have low self-esteem, negative momentum, low morale and we feel aimless and empty with no improvement or chance to make a difference.
When we talk about uphill, everything is worthwhile, we have high self-respect, positive momentum, high morale and we focus on self-improvement while being purposeful and fulfilling.
Moving uphill requires intentionality, energy, determination, hard work and consistency. Remain focused on the big picture, be determined, demonstrate character and put in the time.
What downhill habits do you currently have that are taking you away from your ideal future? What uphill habits must you cultivate to replace the unproductive ones?

Episode 14 Build Strong Business Relationships by Valuing People |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“People can usually trace their successes and failures to the relationships in their lives.” - John C. Maxwell
We are defined by our relationships. Business owners can always learn to build better relationships and increase relational capacity.
The best and easiest way to build better relationships is by being intentional every day when it comes to people interactions.
Valuing people is about believing in their potential, their dreams and their aspirations.
When you respect what someone else is thinking or doing you are showing you value them. If you don’t like people or secretly look down on them it could be a barrier to your success. Stop, look and listen.
Valuing people is all about THEM. Take yourself out of the picture and get really curious about the people in front of you.
There is no better way to show people you value them than by asking for their opinion.
Episode 17 Believe Every Problem Has a Creative Solution |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside that is greater than any obstacle.” - Christian D. Larson
Life is about choices. The words reactive and creative are made of exactly the same letters. The only difference between the two is where we place the “c.” With every question we have a choice to be reactive or creative.
Creativity is changing the question for “is there an answer” to “what is the answer.”
Creativity takes time, patience and experimentation.
You have to enter into the process of believing there is an answer.
“There are only two options: Make Progress or Make Excuses” - Anonymous
Imagination leads to options. It has been said that we can create anything we can imagine. T
he problem is, most people spend their time “re-imagining” the past instead of looking for future possibilities and solutions.
For every problem, spend time coming up with at least three possible solutions.
Sometimes it helps if one of the solutions is “the worst possible solution” and one is the “fairytale best solution.”
Thinking in this way opens up other possible solutions. When all else fails, look for mentorship or coaching to help get clarity on the problem and see it in a new way.
Episode 13 6 Ultra-simple Ways Gratitude Builds Business Relationships |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“The most powerful weapon against your daily battles is finding the courage to be grateful anyway.” – Unknown
People can usually trace their successes and failures to the relationships in their lives.
Being grateful puts everything in perspective and improves productivity.
In order to add gratitude to your relationships, value people every day, make yourself more valuable in your relationships, put yourself in their world, focus your relationships on benefiting others not yourself, be consistent.
Think of how you can express your gratitude and appreciation in each of these areas:
Clients – As a business owner, without clients and customers, you have no revenues.
Employees (and contractors) – It’s easy to give feedback when things aren’t going right, but what’s necessary is to give gratitude and appreciation to your team when things ARE going right.
Suppliers – Engage with your suppliers, and show gratitude for them with thank you’s and referrals.
Referral Network – It doesn’t have to be big, but showing your gratitude to referrals goes a long way in growing your business and improving your business success.
Family and Friends – It’s important to stay connected and spend quality time building and maintaining your personal relationships and showing your appreciation.
You – YOU are your business…As a small business owner or solo-preneur, chances are, without you, your business would not operate. Therefore, it’s important to the success of your business that you appreciate you – take care of your body, mind and soul.
Launch Your Next Big Business Idea To See Its Value
“You are today where your thoughts have brought you. You will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.” -- James Allen
The launch is the greatest test of any idea. The implementation shows an idea’s real value - or lack of value. You can minimize your risk of complete failure by launching your idea to a smaller test market. Beta test your idea. Before any big launch, you want to test your idea with a small audience before launching it into the world. This allows you to get feedback and make adjustments before spending a lot of time and money on advertising.
Gather feedback and data from your beta launch of your new idea. Then upgrade, expand or adjust where necessary.
This is where you go from thinking to action. It is time to bring your idea into the world as a product or service. It can be a scary step and requires growth but if you want to be successful you need to take your developed idea and launch.
When and How to Share Your Next Big Business Idea
There are five steps to take to share your thinking with others:
Bring your idea to the table - it doesn’t have to be a great thought, just a good one.
Episode 10 The Importance of Evaluating Your Next Big Business Idea
‘Whatever things are true ...noble...just...pure...lovely...are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy; think on these things.” -- Paul the Apostle
All ideas are not good ideas! A critical step to business success is evaluated thinking. It is not enough just to think the thought and write it down. We also have to evaluate the ideas and sort them into three idea buckets: Great, Mediocre, and Bad. Then you will know where to focus your energy next. Let the bad ideas go. They are not yours to act on. Set the mediocre ideas aside. They are not ready to grow. Evaluate the great ideas and think of ways to make them better.
Sleep on it! Then reread your ideas and ask yourself the following questions: Does the thought still speak to me? Will this thought speak to others? How, where and when can I use this thought? Who can I help by delivering or implementing the thought?
Episode 9 The Power of Writing to Clarify Your Next Big Business Idea
“Learning to write is learning to think. You don’t know anything clearly unless you can state it in writing.” -- U.S. Senator S. I. Haykawa Writing makes you think things through and forces you to articulate your thoughts. Being able to see our thoughts visually also brings more clarity to our thinking.
Most business owners have a natural bias for action. They undervalue the importance of setting aside time for thinking. But without thinking time, business owners just end up becoming glorified technicians. It was a great idea that launched your business in the first place. It needs a continuous stream of new ideas to continue growing.
Allow yourself time to think. Write what comes to mind without analyzing it. Just capture your thoughts on paper. Keep your thoughts in a safe place. Use a special file or notebook that is easy to find whenever you need it.
Episode 19 Be Comfortable Taking the First Step Without Knowing the Others |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“Everything will work out in the end. You don’t need to know how. You just have to trust that it will.” - Anonymous
If you want to accomplish many things, you have to try many things!
Trying things even when you are not sure of success helps us: Increase our odds of being successful
Gain more practice with creative ideas Become more comfortable with our misses
Success is a messy process. The sooner we get comfortable being uncomfortable and not knowing all the answers the faster we can grow.
This does not mean taking unnecessary risks. It means taking one step at a time and adjusting when necessary before taking the next step.
Ask yourself this question: When it comes to problems, challenges and obstacles, do you believe there is always a solution?
Episode 20 Success is Learning to Be Comfortable Letting Go of Yesterday |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Londina Cruz
“We all have possibilities we don’t know about. We all can do things we don’t even dream we can do.” Dale Carnegie
When we work hard at something we usually have a hard time letting it go. We become emotionally attached to it. Often, if we took time to evaluate it, we would see that there is a better way or it has outlived its usefulness.
Consider this: It is easier to let go of something if you’re going to get something better
People usually cut their losses too late.
Excellence is possible only with creative dissatisfaction… if we are satisfied we don’t try to get better You can’t fall in love with the structure or you stop being creative.
Ask yourself these questions: When was the last time you let go of something that no longer serves you? Do you find it difficult or easy to let go of old successes and solutions? Why? How could you leverage a stronger faith in the future in order to let go of the past?

The Business Owner’s Guide to Resilience
How to Use Resilience to Grow You and Your Business
The President of Lead from Within says, “It’s human nature to resist change -- particularly when it comes in the form of adversity or challenges. But change is inevitable, and developing the trait of resilience helps us not only survive change, but also to learn, grow and thrive on it.
Resilience is the capacity to cope with stress and adversity. It comes from believing in yourself and at the same time believing in something bigger than yourself.
Resilience is not a trait that you are born with. It is something intentionally developed over time. The good news is that resilience involves behaviors, thoughts and actions that can be learned and developed by anyone.
Emotionally strong and resilient people do not expect immediate results. They understand that genuine success takes time. They also face struggles, obstacles and adversity with energy and fortitude. We can change our direction overnight but we rarely arrive at our destination overnight. Keep your eye on the big picture and don’t quit!
The Business Owner’s Guide to Resilience
Optimize Business Relationships Using Resiliency
“The weaker person usually controls the relationship.” -- Elmer Towns
Emotionally strong business owners don’t allow others to control their relationships. Being effective does not mean making everyone happy. People Pleasing does not lead to resilience.
Resilient business owners have the ability to adjust to difficult relationships while the less resilient can’t or won’t. Dysfunctional people want others to function on their level. Average people want others to be average. High achievers want others to achieve.
Resilient business owners honor their relationships while at the same time guarding against letting others control them, especially in difficult relationships.
The Business Owner’s Guide to Resilience
Add Resilience to Deal With Entrepreneurial Difficulties
Former Navy SEAL Eric Greitens writes in his book Resilience: “Many of life’s annoyances just have to be ignored. That doesn’t mean that we suppress, ignore or deny every pain. Serious pain has to be confronted. But one mark of resilience is learning to tell which pain deserves our attention. Paying attention to every pain, all the time, doesn’t lead to resilience. It usually just leads to whining.”
Emotionally strong business owners don’t waste time feeling sorry for themselves.
You can’t be successful and complain at the same time. Focusing on troubles and moving towards success really happen together.
Learn to discern what the problem is and then reframe or prioritize the situation.
Does it really need your energy and attention … right now? Or can you let it go or put some emotional space between it.
The Business Owner’s Guide to Resilience
How Successful Entrepreneurs Stay in Control of Their Emotions and Increase Their Resilience
“One mark of resilience is learning to tell which pain deserves our attention.” -- Eric Greitens
Everyone has potential for bad days and emotional challenges. We can choose to accept them or choose to reframe them. Controlling emotions means living life by design instead of by default.
“Motions” are the precursor to “E-motions.” You can do things to influence your emotions. Do something productive to change your thinking towards damaging emotions.
We always have a choice in how we act or react to life’s unexpected events. The faster we recover from the shock of the emotion, process through it and move towards action, the quicker our recovery will be. The direction we choose to face is always ours to make.

Sustain Your Energy in The Margins
“Tap into things that increase your energy capacity. And manage your energy for the things that matter most to you. Trust me -- it will change your life.” John C. Maxwell
There will always be things that come up out of nowhere, stealing both your energy and your calendar. The best way to prepare for this is to leave space in the margins for things that need to happen but haven’t been planned for.
What do we mean by “leave space in the margin?” It means leaving extra space to breathe, think, make adjustments and grow. Going from one appointment to the next is not sustainable. Everything needs a refresh. The key to high energy is to plan for it.
Give yourself space in your schedule for the unexpected and time to recover psychologically and emotionally for the challenges of life.

Boost your Energy with Energy Adders
“People inspire you, or they drain you. Pick them wisely.” Hans F. Hansen Almost anything can boost your energy as long as it touches you in a positive way. This can be a person, a place or an experience.
Music can be an energy booster when you intentionally listen to music that lifts you up. Thoughts and ideas that are inspiring also increase our energy.
Experience and activities that rejuvenate will be a plus on your energy meter. You might also consider spending time with people who encourage you, fun that invigorates you, exercises that strengthen you, dreams that inspire you and books that change you.
Look for ways to incorporate energy adders throughout your day and you will be amazed by how much your energy capacity increases.

Short Circuit the Energy Depleters
Gallup has proven with their studies on disengagement in the workplace that the “anything-is-possible” myth has led to many people spending years fighting uphill battles by doing what they are not good at. That is exhausting.
It’s important to know what (and who) brings you down.
Subtracting can have a huge impact in adding more energy to your life. Sometimes we need to let go of energy depleters but in order to do that we need to recognize where we are leaking energy.
It is important to recognize what depletes your energy and then be proactive in taking action to eliminate them. Ask yourself the following questions -
How to go from totally tired to limitless energy right now!
Segment 1 Plug in to Energy Rechargers
“Energy, not time, is the fundamental currency of high performance.” Tony Swartz.
It’s better to manage your energy than to manage your time. Many of us want more time in the day but we are limited to only the same 24 hours. Instead, focus on ways to get more energy. You need a constant source of energy resupply in order to get more done. If we want to get more done and make a greater impact on the world, we need to increase our energy capacity.
Energy rechargers are things that lift you up. When you are fully charged, you get more done. Doing things that are meaningful, creating positive interactions and making choices that improve your mental and physical health are all energy rechargers. How can you add more energy rechargers in your day?
There are 3 R’s applied when focusing our energy.
