Are superhero movies going the way of the western as Steven Spielberg predicted? Here is what the guys have to say… I mean after you hit play…
WelcometoFireside.com
The world of comic-related current events seems to be taking a trip back to the familiar isles of Westeros. Even with the House of Hulks showing the world they are more than just a courtroom sitcom, nothing grabs your attention like a dragon. Join Mendte, Mashko, Baby Huey, and Mr. Maurer as they talk about the premiers of both the Game of Thrones spinoff, House of the Dragon, as well as the long-awaited premier of She-Hulk. To start things off we need to revisit the Dark Knights watch to see what else from Warner Brothers is on the Chopping block, namely Batman. Seems like the adult animated series may be headed to the same Ghaston Grey fate near the sea of Dorne. Maybe Sir Netflix or Lord Peacock may be the caped crusader's only hope.

WOW! San Diego Comic-Con is usually incredible, but there was something different about this one. It was almost like a rallying cry. All Things Fireside - https://linktr.ee/welcometofireside
I think we need to start this issue off with an apology. Features tried to talk about San Diego Comic-Con and Marvel news and we were less than supportive. Join Mendte, Mashko, and Maurer as they recap the insanity that will apparently happen at Hall H. Welcome back and wow… do we have a doozy for you. This issue really got away from us. Then Maurer dips and the rest of the gang loses all track of time and thoroughly breakdown Thor's latest big-screen outing. SPOILER ALERT How does it fit into the MCU? How did the tone shape the movie? What does this movie tell us about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
On Friday as an encore, we will release just the review so get to the theaters if you haven’t already as this is a spoiler-heavy review.
The boys are back in town… well not THE Boys, because that’s on Fridays… I mean the guys who do this show… like Maurer.... Anyways, it’s Wednesday and those new comics go down easier with a dash of New News! So buckle up, grab your pull list, and hit play.

Coincidently Mendte is also on vacation so the lineup for this show consists of Mr. Maurer, Mashko, Huey and Features. This group of boys are talking about a lot of TV this week with the finale of Obi-wan Kenobi, another Ms. Marvel episode and the very anti-climactic episode of The Boys that we were waiting for. All this and more on THAT! comic podcast, Fireside Chats.
Here's another classic Fireside issue from way back in September of 2019. This show focused on Ms. Marvel was put out right after the announcement of all the new shows coming to Disney+. It's an interesting listen given what we now know about the MCU's Kamala Khan. Join the classic lineup of Mendte, Mr. Maurer, and Features as they talk about the origin, powers, and effect on the comic book community.
