On our show, we've mentioned how much we love playing games and on today's episode we're continuing that. This might be the hardest game we've ever played though. We played our own version of "Guess That Song," girl group edition. We were only allowed to listen to a few seconds of a song and guess what the song was. We struggled quite a bit and towards the end, we also learned a lesson.
When you think of a K-Pop artist, you can usually associate them with their most iconic song. Artists have tons of songs however, so exactly which one of those is the iconic one. In this episode, we talk about our top girl groups and female solo artists and try and decide which song from their discography is THE one.
We've talked about how with a new K-Pop album, comes a new era. There are new outfits, hair colors, stages, etc. Today, we look at all of TWICE's eras and try to decide which one of the members "owned" each era. This means which person stood out the most to us or fit the concept really well.
We've spent a lot of time talking about our top groups BTS and NCT but theres another group that is right up there with them, Winner. The only way to properly introduce them on our show is with their music. In this episode, we play a little game where we try to rank all of their title tracks from best to worst. We struggled, laughed and cried a bit trying to decide which songs go where.
We have a pretty good idea about how rough the life of an idol can be. They're singing, dancing, rehearsing just about every single day of the week. On top of that, many idols put themselves through some harsh diets to loose weight. We'll be talking about a few of those idols that have put themselves through that and the consequences it has brought.
Happy early Valentine's Day! While on the subject of love or "love" if you will, we decided our own version of "The Bachelor" but with a little twist. Instead of random contestants, we use all of our biases from our favorite groups. Who do you think will make it in the end? One of Elisabet's biases or one of Camila's?
This episode was a hard one because we finally talk about GOT7's recent disbandment. It's a sensitive subject, especially when mentioning the possible groups that will be disbanding this year. We also go into details of what exactly could cause a disbandment and how idol's contracts work.
No preparation. No notes. Whatever comes to mind. We decided to literally "go with the flow" for this episode. We talk about whatever comes to mind as it relates to K-pop of course. Even when not planned though, we still tend to disagree on some topics that we ended up talking about.
You tell any "local" you're into K-Pop and they already start assuming a hundred things about you and this genre of music. We talk about what we've heard from people when we tell them we're K-Pop stans and how we've been able to now deal with it.
This week we're talking "survival shows." This is just one way that many Korean groups and idols are created. We talk about a few of these different competition shows and the way they're set up, as well as our own experience with watching these shows.

We discuss those different standards that girl groups need to adhere to in order to succeed. As we unravel them, we also realize that standards are placed everywhere, no matter the industry.

Last week we got into the history of tattoo culture in South Korea. We mentioned that times are now definitely changing and in this episode we talk about those few idols who are members of that change. We also made a list of our favorite tattoos and how K-pop has inspired many fans to get tattoos of their own.
The list could go on and on about all the differences between Western and Eastern cultures. For this episode though we focus on one major difference, tattoo culture. Although times are now changing, we talk about why tattoos have been looked down upon in South Korea. We also briefly discuss how K-pop idols fall into the world of tattoos as well.
Comeback season has finally caught up to us and this is only the beginning. A comeback doesn't just bring a new album but it brings a whole new era, concept, outfits, hairstyles, promotions, videos and that's only to name a few. This week we talk about two of our ult groups, NCT and SEVENTEEN's, latest comeback.
