Greetings! My name is Govind Krishna Das and I come from the holy land of Bhagwad Geeta, kurukshetra in the state of Haryana, India. I work towards spreading awareness on religion and spirituality especially to the youth of the country. My firm believe is that if the youth today know in depth about the religious subjects and the matter of spirituality then it would lead to them living their life with utmost value and respect for oneself as well as others.

~The mysterious kitchen : out if the 9 pots kept one on the other, the food in the pot placed at the top gets cooked first!! ?
~ The most hygienic kitchen : The Mahaprasad is cooked by fully masked pandas and even sunrays are not allowed in the kitchen!! ?

Shri Krishna's Jagannath Roop
Shri Krishna from Dwarka and Nandbaba from Vrindavan come to Kurukshetra for snan after solar eclipse.
Rukmini Devi and Satyabhama Devi went to Rohini Maa, requested her to explain the love of Brijwasis towards Krishna.
Rohini Maa agreed but directed Subhadraji to not allow Shri Krishna and Balram Dau to listen about this else both will run back to Vrindavan!
The narration began. Engrossing it was that Subhadraji didn't realise her brothers standing beside her.
Listening to the description, their eyes widened, their limbs got stiff and body seemed to be melting!
Narada Muni requested Lord to retain that form. Lord agreed saying that He will come in Kaliyug as Lord Jagannath in Purushotam Kshetra/Orissa.
Jagannathji resides here in the Maadhurya Rasa as this form of His is manifested for the love of Braj Gopis.
How were Jagannathji deities formed?
In Indradyumna Maharaj's court came pandits who told him that Neel Madhav is the Lord of Universe. But the king's men failed to find Neel Madhav.
One of the Purohits, Vidhyapati, who married Vishwavasu's daughter Lalita when he was wandering looking for Neel Madhav came to know that his father in law serves Neel Madhav! Vishwavasu was not willing to introduce Neel Madhav to his son in law but as Lalita insisted, he agreed on a condition that Vidyapati should be blindfolded untill they reach Neel Madhav.
Vidhyapati was overwhelmed on having Neel Madhav's darshans. He informed Maharaj Indradyumna about his find and The King came to take Neel Madhav. While leaving, the Lord blessed Vishwavasu that for 15 days after the Snan Yatra, his decendents will serve Him.
Later, Lord instructed Maharaj Indradyumna to get His deities carved out of wood within 21 days in a closed chamber. Vishwakarma comes as an aged man and starts making the deities in that closed chamber. 15 days passed and then hearing no sound coming from the chamber Maharaj opened the doors to find three incomplete deities.
Maharaja Indradyumna invited Lord Brahma and established these deities in Shri Jagannath Puri Dhaam.
Gaja/Hathi Besh
Once a devotee of Shri Ganesh names Gajanan Bhatt came to Shri Puri Dhaam for darshans. He always thought that the God has an elephant trunk b'cos he worshipped Shri Ganesh. Upon having darshans at Shri Mandir, he got disappointed and thought that Jagannth ji cannot be God because He doesn't have an elephant trunk!!
That night, Jagannathji came in his dream and asked him to visit Shri Mandir again next day.
Gajanan Bhatt did so and the next day when he saw the Lord, He has a long elephant trunk!! Gajanan Bhatt was overjoyed. The day this happened was the Jyeshtha Purnima / Snan Yatra Mahotsav.
Since that day onwards, the first besh Jagannathji and Balbhadraji adorn after the Snan is Gaja/Hathi Besh.

Facts:

Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu used to come to bathe here everyday when He was in Puri and than took darshans of Neelchakra.

Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu bathed Naam Acharya Haridas Thakur in Mahodadhi before he took samadhi.

Mahodadhi is believed to be a manifestation of all the Tirthas.

Mahodadhi is the son of Shri Krishna and Virja Devi.
Once when Shri Krishna and Virja Devi were spending lone time, the youngest son came there are Shri Krishna went away. Angered by this, she cursed all her children to go to earth and live there b'cos they disturbed the couple. All 7 children came as 7 oceans on 7 islands on earth.
Seeing Mahodadhi sad because of the curse, Shri Krishna promised that as Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, He'll come to Mahodadhi everyday and bathe.
- Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu ran into Mahodadhi once, thinking it is Yamuna.
He was so much in ecstasy that He got entangled in a fisherman's net and that fisherman was scared seeing a man with such a golden complexion who was not within his own control.

Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu drenched Himself in the sand of Mahodadhi, so it is considered auspicious to smear oneself with the sands of the ocean.

Jagannath ji resides on the banks of Neel Samudhra on Neel Aanchal in Neel Kandra as Neel Madhav.

There are 35 Million tirthas on this earth and one can derive the benefits of visiting all these tirthas just by visiting Shri Puri Dhaam.

Today listen to the innumerable leelas of Mahaprabhu with Jaydev Goswamiji.
Leela 1:
While Jaydev Goswamiji was composing Geet Govind, he reached a shloka depicting Shri Krishna surrendering to Shri Radhe's Overwhelmed, he left his writing incomplete for a bath in the Ganga. Jagannathji Himself came as Jaydevji and completed that half written shloka.
When Jaydevji came after his bath he found this shloka:
स्मर्गराल खण्डनं मम शिरसि मण्डनं
देही पद पल्लभं उद्धारम्
श्री राधे देही मे पद पल्लवं उद्धारम्
I bow down to Sri Radha. Even though I am the Supreme Lord, I Pray to Sri Radha to deliver me.
Leela 2:
The Gajapati disapproved Geet Govind being recited to Jagannathji, so he ordered that his composition, Abhinav Govind should be recited instead.
At night, the Pujaris kept Geet Govind and Abhinav Govind in front of the Lord. Next morning they saw Abhinav Govind scattered around and Geet Govind close to Prabhu's chest.
But the Lord included twelve shlokas from Abhinav Govind in Geet Govind and honoured the Gajapati.
Leela 3:
Once Gajapati, stopped Geet Govind recitation in the Sri Mandir. Jagannathji became sleepless and disturbed.
One morning, Lord heard his favourite recitation far off and ran towards the voice leaving His clothes torn and body bruised. Pujaris saw the condition of Prabhu and realised Lord's agony.
The Gajapati realised his folly and ordered to resume the recitation of Geet Govind in Sri Mandir.
Leela 4: Rupa Goswami ji teaches the criteria to attract the Lord.
Age (Prahlad Maharaj), Knowledge (Gajendra), Beauty (Kubja), Money (Sudama) are not needed to please God.
The only criteria to attract the Lord is love.
Leela 5 :
Jaydev Goswamiji desired to get Geet Govind inscribed on Jagannathji's saree. He went to an artist who agreed to write the whole composition if Goswami ji would dictate the shlokas.
The work began but when the description of Ras Leela was being narrated, Goswamiji fainted out of high emotions.
Jagannathji came as Krishna Dev. He recited the the remaining shlokas and the artist completed the saree. When Jaydevji regained senses, he realised that Lord came Himself to finish the task!
Leela 6:
A King invited Jaydev Goswamiji to his court for reciting Geet Govind. The audience was elated and the King gave precious gifts to Goswamiji.
The court also had four thieves who saw monetory gifts with Goswamiji and robbed him while he was on his way to Sri Puri Dhaam. They also mercilessly cut off his hands and threw him in a well.
Next time the same theives performed as artists and Goswamiji requested the King to honour them.
The shameless theives alleged Goswamiji to be one like them. Prithvi Maa couldn't tolerate this and swallowed them. Goswamiji prayed to Jagannathji to give the thieves their life back. The Lord fulfilled this wish and Jaydevji also got his hands back.
