In 2004, no metal fan could deny the power and influencer Fuse's Uranium had over their world. Juliya exploded on the scene as not only one of the only female voices in heavy music, but personality and realness that hadn't been seen before on national television. At a time where hard polish was still the norm for TV hosts she carved out a raw riche and was able to pivot her career throughout her 20's and evolve with the channel. I've always been curious and inspired by her ability to make such a huge impact in a genre that has traditionally be male dominated, at such a young age. On this episode, I dive into her story and she dishes out some real wisdom about her time on FUSE, moving into the future fearlessly and reinventing yourself as a lady gracefully. Fortunately for you, no censorship needed :) One of my fave interviews to date!

Growing up a by-product of the true immigrant experience prepares you for a life of hard work. It is inevitable that watching the fruits of steady, daily labor would shape you into a machine for productivity. Adelle is the ultimate example of what many immigrant parents hope for their children after moving to this country. The definition of a H U S T L E R, we met years ago while speaking on an ethnic women in journalism panel at a local college. Watching her blossom from VIBE editorial, to breaking mainstream at Billboard, hosting her own series Side Hustle, as well as interviewing your favorite rappers on Tidal...she's been busy.

In addition to her music journalism work, she co-founded HER SWEAT which shines a light on body positivity and women who are working on feeling their best through exercise. We all need a little push and inspiration to keep moving our bodies forward. The ultimate go-getter with heart, she's made some time to speak with LADY ISH about her journey and what has inspired her to keep pushing her career in different directions. She has recently decided to move to LA (we all make the journey out there at some point) starting a role at one of the world's biggest and most influential media companies, Netflix.

Over the past few weeks Canada has become the new beacon of light for marijuana enthusiasts, declaring recreational legalization. Considering over half the US recognizes marijuana as legal in some way, shape or form - when will we be next? I discuss the nuances and weigh out how a plant once deemed "the devils lettuce" has now become a god-sent source of help for many who have been too afraid to utilize it in the past.

Also...Halloween! Does it get better as we get older or more burdensome? Time to let the inner ho loose? You decide! Please subscribe and rate :)

VOTING: the other controversial V word. For so many Americans the importance of voting has been diminished by disappointments, miseducation, TRUMP and so many other X factors. Over the past 2 years I have been hitting the pavement trying to register other younger voters and with the latest developments in the Supreme Court, it is pretty fucking important to slay the midterms across the country. EVERY VOTE COUNTS.

On this episode I discuss voting and some experiences registering folks to vote. OCT 16 IS THE CUT OFF SO GET IN THERE NOW IF YOU AREN'T ALREADY: https://vote.gov/

Also, I dive into health issues as we all get older. Things come up QUICK and I too recently had a scare that realigned intentions quickly. All you can think about is...am I going to die? You take yourself out of yourself and really being to analyze how everything connects. You learn to value every moment of your life and where it can bring you next. Deep thoughts man, but this becomes reality when the prospect of it ending pops up. What a time to be alive!

M O N E Y: When we have it, we want more. When we don't have it, we want anything we can get.

I've been reading a lot of philosophies that reiterate that MONEY IS FREEDOM and on this episode I break down how to get that freedom, slow and steady. I also breakdown my bankruptcy at 22 and how that reshaped my thoughts on spending and saving to live daily life. Can you imagine not having a credit card your ENTIRE 20's? Yah, that was my reality. It showed me how to forego expensive trips, brunches and other frivolous spends and made me assess every dollar that was coming in and gong out. This is not to say I didn't travel, drink endlessly or buy stupid shit in my 20's but it all came in CASH. No debt, no worries.

I explore my current obsession with stacking away cash these days. How do you save?

Life waits for no one, like literally. A big part of Lady Ish is making sure you handle what comes your way with as much sanity and grace as you can muster up at that time. Over the past few months a few setbacks have hit this podcast (censorship mannnn) and my personal life. My dad suddenly got sick and passed away in a crazy domino of circumstances shortly after, there were a million work things that came up, you know - real life stuff and things got rough. Earned my lady stripes hard over the past few months.

In the midst of this madness I also fulfilled a lifelong dream of doing standup comedy in front of an audience for the first time ever in NYC. The exhilaration I felt from working on a body of material, fine tuning it and grilling up on the stage for 5 minutes of hilarious terror cannot even be explained. IT WAS INTIMIDATINGLY ORGASMIC. Comedy has long been a man's game and with femme juggernauts like Amy Schumer and Ali Wong swooping in to change prior perception, women are gaining a different footing in the mainstream. On this episode I chat it up with Vanessa Golembewski who is a NYC comedian and writer, living that freelancer life of starring in skits for Elite Daily, Refinery 29 + so so so much more. Her past has been filled with interesting gigs including scripting out comedy bits on the Harry Connick Jr. show, writing headlines for The Onion and a myriad of other impressively funny quests.

Welcome to Lady Ish where I (Zeena Koda your god-awful host) hone in on the good, bad, obscene and everything else in-between. Nothing is more fascinating than the lives of other people and with this podcast I try to dive into a diverse pool of stories to extract the lessons we all can learn from. On our first episode I speak about why I decided to start it, a candid discussion with Adesina Sanchez who is a former musician and TV host, now turned full-time artist. Adesina is an unconventional woman living in this crazy playground we call New York City.

During my teen years living in the Jersey hot-bed of debauchery, I'd always dreamed of meeting a crew of misfits I could start a band with. We'd like, write songs about depression and being misunderstood. We'd wear a ton of leopard. I'd get a chance to be belligerent on stage and all eyes would be on me...basically, live the teenage dream. While it took me years to actualize that one (way past my teens i'll add), The Regrettes at between the ages of 16 and 19 are living my youthful dreams out right now. I've always been a champion for female musicians but to see so many KILLING it in one band truly warmed my heart. Watching them at their record release party truly gave me chills and not of the douchey kind for once. At their budding age they posses more restraint, poise and bad-assery than many bands twice their age. It's just a number after all, right?

On this episode I sat down to talk with them about landing a record deal at such a young age, learning about managers and nuances of signing to a major label, as well as what makes them tick. In an age where many younger artists aren't getting a chance to break through, especially in the rock world, it was refreshing to soak in their spirit.

Transplants, this biz is filled with them. NYC and LA interchange so much the lines get blurred and a few brave souls have joined me on the west coast. On this episode I bring on a fellow transplanted chica I respect immensely and a person who always takes chances, Caitlin White, who is Music Editor at UPROXX. As with every profession, she peels back the veil of the industry and gives insight on how to make it in writing. A very inspirational and insightful look on writing in hip-hop and the trials of putting your thoughts out to the world and having to stand by your statements. It's a daunting challenge, bu the greats rise to the top. She's 100% one of the greats!

There's something to be said about stories among friends and roommates. You know...those moments that rarely see the day of light when others are watching? Like, those things you can die of laughter about with others but outside of the circle it's just tacky? I have no shame so I figured - let's dive in with some of my fave loving assholes.

On this episode I enlist two of my best buds (and The Litterboxx alumni) Matt Swain and Dr. Cocktapus, as well as my former NYC roommate and midwest BAD BISH Nichole. Let's just say if you have weak ears this one might not be fore you but I'm from NJ, crass and honest is our style. We discuss the nuances of the NYC area, smoking habits including gratuitous use of BLUNTS and our endless connection with strip clubs and working entertainers.

The boys, being boys, describe their accounts with fierce and loose ladies and hilariously describe their thoughts on female wardrobe (men never get it LOL). Nichole and I talk about the debauchery that went down when we were living together, including the gaggle of men we hosted over the years.

We introduce the concept of “the white whale” which really is creeping on that one person who you see as the ultimate prize. HOW'S THE WHALE WATCH GOING BRAH? Everyone has one of those and we'll continue to keep an eye on the potential success.

We're a sorted mix of musicians and music types so naturally we talk about hilariously bad shows we've seen and played. So many of our musical heroes have gone this year and we discuss Lemmy, Prince and Bowie as our heart-breakers.

In a naturally downward spiral, we get into our craziest repulsive encounters with people who find urination a turn on and the dreaded foulness of watching someone shit thier pants. WOOF. Shit gone wrong, literally (sadly I am not immune...)

EPISODE 40, holy shit how did I get here?! When I started this quest almost 2 years ago I had no clue how to create a podcast, what to talk about and if I really had the stamina and content to talk about being alive, on my own. Like, self doubt is real and sometimes it can really get the best of you. Glad to say I've made it through and STOKED on my 40th! :)

On this episode I sit down with a beloved co-worker of mine Maddie who is also a rock lovin' chick who busted her ass to make it in this biz. We chat about her upcoming move to NYC, growing up in Richmond, crazy LA dating stories and laugh about a lot of stupid shit that has made us the broads we are today.

I also have on Mother Feather who talk about fulfilling adult duties while being in an active band, wardrobe malfunctions resulting in lip slips (not talking about the one's you kiss with BTW) and love for Lady Gaga. Now that Taylor Kinney is on the market...might have to go for the gold there. JK JK. Also have an amazing anti-Trump tune from Sebastian Kole who is equal parts musical talent and humor.

It's a rarity that I meet another woman who can groove out to some hardcore, look like a million bucks and dance her ass off to some hip hop all at the same time. Step in my chica Kenza who works PR for Vans and runs her own femme-posi digital mag, Moi Magazine. We like to talk shit...like, a lot. This episode is no exception so take a seat, things get ridiculous.

We talk being asked out by the most random dudes and our plenty of dating experiences (+ encounters with fuck bois) in LA and elsewhere. Recalling some embarrassing yet hilarious stories, Kenza dives into being a strong woman but wanting her man to COME CORRECT and loving a little romance (who doesn't?). As two children of immigrants we talk our upbringings, the importance of a damn good mani and Kenza's extreme love for pimp DRIZZY aka Drake. If you haven't watched the "Hotline Bling" video yet, now is the time.

As a fellow curvy woman, Kenza's talks about her baby, Moi Magazine, which is encouraging body positivism for women of all sizes. Embrace the uniqueness, it's what makes you...YOU.

On this episode I link with my girl Laura who helps run the ship at BReal TV. She's lived in NY, Paris and LA - let's say she has experience dealing with some interesting things around the world. We talk about the magical world of cannabis and what it's like being someone who doesn't smoke or drink, constantly around it. Oh, temptation!

We discuss the fun of dating in NYC and LA, Bieber's massive dick and all the fun things in between. You ever fall out with someone and realize there's "no new news" to report from them? Welcome to our lives :)

Some girls dream about meeting Mr. Perfect, having a ton of kids an living in a dream home they'll eventually find a pool boy for (who will consequently help them pass the time and get over a divorce somewhere along the line, full circle). Other girls dare to go out of the box and manifest everything that we as women were told would be too hard for us to do. When I met Ash, I knew immediately she was fucking BAD ASS. Not only because she has spent a good chunk of her life fronting a variety of bands (just like myself, kindred spirits!) but her knowledge, composure, intelligence and sense of humor were so on-point. She rips it with her band New Years Day and it was a pleasure to meet another woman unapologetically doing her thing. I can also appreciate a woman who comes correct with her nails and eyebrows and Ash was 100% on point :)

Her band New Years day are dropping a new album today, "Malevolence" on Another Century Records and currently out on the road. Before she left, we got a chance to chop if up about a variety of things including her SERIOUS Disney love and how badass Walt Disney was for his time. We get a glimpse into how Ash got into making music, coming from the same high school as No Doubt and her heavy hitter influence Gwen Stefani, as well as the many hilariously inappropriate comments he gets about her appearance sometimes.

Ash has worn many hats as an interviewer at the AP Awards and is currently on the cover of this years' Revolver "Hottest Chicks In Rock" calendar. We talk about the interviewing role and the chance to speak with the EVER SEXY Rob Zombie. We also go into all the work she is doing with PETA, rescuing dogs and of course, her voodoo doll collection - what respectable woman doesn't have one. You might be surprised to find out she's a huge football fan, the Saints specifically. We talk perfect dates, machismo fails on tour and many hilarious things in-between. Fun to discover all the nooks of her personality, check it out.

I’ve known Doc Coyle since I was a 19/20 year old college kid working at the mall in the Jersey swaps for every minute of “the band’s going to make it mannnnn” I was spitting out. He’s an amazing guitar player who has not only traveled the world wit his music, but found a solid way to transition his experiences into a journalistic career. He’s also one funny ass motherfucker, so this is going to be a good extended one.

We chop it up about his life of a touring musician and the many ups and downs you experience with it. Where does life go for some after all of that? Since we’re both bi-racial and love many genres of music, it would only be appropriate to talk about the stark differences between the metal and hip hop lifestyles. Believe it or not, there are actually many similarities. Doc highlights some of his current projects and the direction he is going with the music.

In the dating world, Doc points out how many females throw the humble brag when hit on and the importance of biology in attraction. We debate on many male versus female perspectives and look at how we both perceive “the youth” at this time. Are guys under 30 still kids? I’d say under 50, but that’s a whole other podcast.

One of my favorite guests so far and it’s an extended one, listen in and check Doc out here: http://www.doccoyle.net/

It was only a matter of time until Denise and I joined forces, we have the same asshole sense of humor, love for our professional steez and overall awesomeness. She is awesome and if you ever wanna check out her bread and butter, head on over to: http://punkworldviews.com/

In this episode we clam chat after getting into a car accident, so expect a little wildness / drunkeness. We chat about our careers and many encounters with dudes in bands, it's an interesting life working as a lady in music journalism. Denise recounts her deep love for Fred Durst and I recount my own obnoxious Durst story. Although many people know us for the rock world, we both work a "day job" and dive into the fun and creativity that goes into balancing both worlds. She debunks the magical world of casting and reality TV, as well as the +'s and -'s of dating someone in your profession. Good times, listen in!

You know when you get that novel idea in your head to move across the country and change your entire life in a matter of months? It pops up in waves and as you watch each moment of your mundane daily life activities go by, you romanticize that huge change. SHIT WILL BE DIFFERENT MAN, LIFE IS GOING TO BE INCREDIBLE. Welp, the outcome of that is to be determined for myself but I will say that I have learned a ton in the process….and been the victim of another LA hit a run. Apparently those are the west coast equivalent of getting your ass grabbed on a packed L train. Damaging, yes. Unlikely to happen again, no way. I need to start driving with a helmet on and fuck someone really hot in case I get tossed off this earth sooner than later.

On this episode of The Litterboxx I take a little of both of these worlds and bring on the lady who moved across the country with me and fellow working woman, my roommate Jessie. I also take in Dr. Cocktapuss in for one last east coast bitch session right after my last day of work at a job I was at for 7 years. Fun times! We talk about dating in LA versus NYC, starting off with a clean slate, my time on the Anthony Cumia show and girls being friends with dudes in adulthood. Always privy to the stank eye questions from the girlfriends. More west adventures to come with some of my fave people out here, hopefully some more debaucherous stories to break down as well.

This week I bring on my good friend Todd who run the ship for Wu Tang's brand and Jamal, who is possibly one of the sharpest people I have ever met.

We discuss a plethora of issues including merkins (look it up), finding bald sexy and finding someone who fits your level of crazy. We talk about J Swipe / J Date and how crazy dating can actually be in NYC - things always get insane, even if it is the most romantic city on earth. One night stands, best first dates and sleepovers with no sex are all topics we dive into. We also ponder the very serious question, "who's responsibility is it to provide condoms?" LUCK FAVORS THE PREPARED. Many laughs and some interesting perspectives.

We're back again for one of my last Litterboxx podcasts in NYC and I bring on one of my bests to deliver the dude side of thangs, OPGRIME aka Matt Swain who is one half of Black Space Odyssey. As a cat dude he defends his people and we discuss the stigma attached to dudes who love KITTEHS. We discuss men who are creepers and going for girls way out of your league, guess it's a pride thing? On the flipside he brings us into working in women's fashion as a dudes dude and how he's able to get through it. He discusses that guy who leaves a paper in the men's room for...that time of the AM and the common courtesies men love in the workplace.

I talk about my experience DJing the Pagoda City Tattoo Festival and the wide variety of tunes those who love tattoos listen to. We dive into presidential hopefuls Donald Trump and Chris Christie, taking a close look at all the wonderful qualities (and many LOLZ) they have to offer. We go in and I drank half a bottle of tequila in the process so...enjoy!

This week, I take clam chat to the extreme and bring on my friend Candace who dives into the touring life extensively from a female perspective. After we toured on Warped Tour last year, I realized what an awesome woman she was and how much I could candidly express my love for all thing hot and terrible to her. Those friendships, few and far between.

We start it off with a lens on MILF's going for it harder than DILFS and the hilarity of watching it unfold. Isn't it crazy that kids today are moving faster than any other generation? We recount how it was back in the day, the merits of beeper romance and that first time texting a guy. Remember when a mixtape or CD would suffice as a REAL GIFT? Times have changed.

We dive into Warped Tour and our experiences touring and being on the road. We've all heard DUDE tour stories, but get ready for some of our own. Biggest rule to adhere to - no shitting in on the bus. We talk about dudes who were "tour hot," making the best out of the eye candy every day and dive into what it's like to live life almost as a carnie.

Throwing a ton of other shit into the mix we discuss my love of short clothing and asked the eternal question - when is something too short? I dive into my hatred of Tinder, calling dudes out on their shit and talk about why women love James Deen so much. VIVA SNAPCHAT!

The Litterboxx welcomes long time friend, consultant and all around funny guy DR.COCKTAPUSS to the show. As a man of medical knowledge, the doctor dishes out his diagnosis.

He cracks on Zeena for "hating faces" and she professes her love for bald men (PURE SEX). We discuss dating straight edge folks and list out what vanilla activities you can do with them.

Cocktapuss talks about "keeping it casual" in dating, the rouse of online dating and the validity of those who stay off of social media. We question if the internet is making us dumber - feels like it certainly feels like we're losing brain cells daily.

As we get older, we value our personal rest time. Sleeping, resting, all these things - activities the cocktapuss and I have conceded to. We discuss being half breeds and how it shaped our upcoming, particularly in the food domain WE LOVE WEIRD ASS FOOD. We discuss our delinquent childhoods in NJ and having strict ass parents.

As always, we touch upon relationships and behaviors in dating. Do you hold hands? Can you stand sleeping with someone who snores? Do you ninja out? All addressed here, listen in.

The Litterboxx is back this week with my dudes in Black Space Odyssey. We talk about the killer suburb dream snack combo, Dunkin' Donuts x Baskin Robins (don't front like you've never had a coffee and hot fudge sundae). The boys and I discuss the east coast versus west before diving into music and discussing Skrillex's odd rise, the contents of Marc Rizzo's from Ill Nino's backpack, as well as the Alt Press APMA's.

Being the creeper that I am, I talk about coercing dudes into shirtless photo shoots and how we all meet other people out and about. We gauge what the appropriate time to text back is and dive into Tinder experiences, from the male end. We come to the realization that if you're poor, you gotta have a good body. RULE OF THUMB.

Diving into 90's fashion we discuss the core brands like LUGZ and Sean John. We also randomly discuss Slipknot urban legends, the experience of being a stagehand at NYC's legendary Webster Hall and this year's Mayhem festival. Zeena discussed some friends she meets on the flight back from LA, meeting a former NFL star and making her way through the madness.

Summer is full of ridiculous behaviors in NYC, god knows we revel in it. On this episode Zeena hangs with a fellow single music industry gal Suzy and discusses all the comedy of being a woman.

We cover the nuances of catching a good nude, receiving a unsolicited midday dick pic and learning how to drown out pesky opinions of guy friends. We also recount hilarious screen shots of terrible conversations (some sober, many not) with the opposite sex. Long distance romances are on the brain and we discuss the obvious pros and cons of it all. Mostly cons BUT you gotta hold out for the good stuff.

Snapchat is our social platform of choice and Suzy frequently posts up pics of her pet snake...not that kind of snake. We dive into taking the financial plunge on adult purchases like couches. It hurts, we know. Also in this episode, some Caitlyn Jenner / Kardashian talk because you know, WE JUST CAN'T STOP LOOKING.

The Litterboxx sits down for a quick talk with Shawna from War On Women before their opening show in NYC for Refused.

Excited to be part of Dash Radio family on Hot Button Radio! Check us out there Friday at 10 PM EST + 11 PM EST via the app and at http://dashradio.com/

We've spent the past year bitching about the funny behaviors men throw our way, so it felt appropriate to finally have some men takeover and spit out the male perspective. This, will be a regular occurrence on the new Litterboxx. Sprinkle of V here, a little D there - we're going equal opportunity :)

In this episode Zeena brings in her friend Matt to help with the co-host duties. A fellow east coast musician, filter-less jerk, Brooklyn resident and of course, merciless shit talker, Matt drops some dude bro knowledge on us. We talk about showing up to summer festivals at 3 PM and getting trashed off of beer all day, touring and making the best of your time on tour - going to strip clubs and dropping shrooms. On a more serious tip we discuss Monica Lewinsky overcoming stigma and the outrage of Rachel Doezal. Zeena also recounts her inability to fall out of ghettoland and pay for Spotify premium or give up Bud Lite faux margarita drinks.

Since we spend so much time bitching about dudes I asked, "do ya'll talk about women?" Prob not in the same light. We talk drunk posts and retractions on Instagram, bad bands we rock to on the low (private sesh) and bad drunk behaviors. In addtion to Matt I have on one of my favorite guests to date, our very own Magic MIke - A MALE ENTERTAINER. So many good stories about thirsty women, stripper fails, acting and of course, the misc jobs that lead up to his male entertainer domination. Listen in and get a few laughs.

Oh life, how cruel time can be. If only there were more hours in a day and more days in a week. Every week is dramatically different these days and I'm taking you along for the wild, plot-twisting ride. Also, this is a momentous occasion for us because for the first time ever, we allow a dude into he clam party.

Katy and I discuss our adventure filled week of live music. You know when you've waited months, if not years, to see one of your favorite bands in their live glory? I got to see 2 of those in one solid week. Mustering up peak energy (obviously extracted from that babies blood of my early 20's) I somehow cranked out 7 consecutive days of shows with the help of magic cookies. We discuss Patton and the sonic and visual gift that is Faith No More, as well as a crowd more engaged in their phones than watching the LIVE show. We've all been kinda guilty. We talk Jane's Addiction, Poison The Well and throwing it back to 2003 at Skate and Surf (Note: I personally saw Razor Ramon throwing back the devil's juice before he was ceremoniously booted off campus).

Here's a VERY DIFFICULT QUESTION: Who are your top 3 lovers of all time? We discuss the ranking, requirements for placing and those who fall far short, aka the lazy, selfish lover. With summer coming (which means less clothing + inhibition) more possibilities are on the horizon. We talk about key goals this summer, keeping up the career hustle and crushing it, as well as analyzing what that college degree is really worth.

I invited my Revolver Podcast co-host and Filipino brother Chris Enriquez to be the first male perspective on the podcast and he doesn't fail. We talk about the whimsical parts of being Filipino, our man Pacquiao's loss and all the funny parts of our ethnic background. As a recently single man, we talk about punishers in dating life, bro chicks / basic bitches, some chicks being a boner killer and one of the grossest / craziest tour hookup stories I have ever heard (Hint: it involves vomit and cunnilingus, yikes).

A must listen. Our next episode will be up on Dash Radio in a few weeks!

Working hard on the back end of The Litterboxx and just working hard in general, you know - the shit real life is made of. Exhaustion wins!

On this episode we talk about trying to not get offended and baiting critics, especially those nameless, pussy internet trolls. We talk about contemplating career changes and remembering your inspirations because creativity don't come cheap or often. Milk that bitch when she's at play.

An old laughing stock has popped up in our lives and we talk about that predictable HO that pops up in your circle, who thinks no one sees his shit. Always need to warn a fellow boxx when they're in danger of getting involved with a WHACK ass dude. We take a hard look at relationships and how people let themselves go, the double standard in dating, “wifey material,” mini-celibacy bouts to clear your mind and of course, Brooklyn's award winning sexual prowess. You know where that leads...our PSA for taking your boxx of choice out to EAT. :)

Have you noticed Bruce Jenner's transition? We discuss etiquette and the process he is going through. We dive into political equality for women and some predictions + concerns for the upcoming election. On the total flip-side Zeena talks about her first live UFC experience and flipping tickets, only in Newark. At least there were good things to look at.

WHAT IS THE LITTERBOXX? There is a misconception that women should remain the silent minority, holding our tongues in an effort to fit that traditional "lady" mold so forcibly shoved down our throats. We are not those ladies. The Litterboxx is a soiling ground for pop culture, music, sports, relationship + sex talk, hilarious encounters and anything in-between. Join Zeena and Katy in our quest to live life to the fullest, dominate minds and meet some hot babes in the process. Maybe fall in love, but let's not get too crazy here.

The Litterboxx has been truckin' along for the better half of 6+ months and we're proud to announce we'll be on Dash Radio starting mid-April. More clam chat, with bigger + better guests. We couldn't be more excited :) Check out Dash Radio here + via the app: http://dashradio.com/

For our 13th episode we break down the pressing issues of the last month. Due to an unfortunate accident, we lost an episode of the podcast in Zeena's CD drive (damn you innovation) and had a LOT to catch up on.

In true Litterboxx fashion we launch by discussing keeping up on your sexual health and awareness, as well as what criteria makes for a hot male photo. We explore young dudes using Viagra / Cialis to keep their members at work, hey everyone needs a hand now and then RIGHT?

Zeena talks about her time at SXSW, looking at commercialized versus organic ways bands and brands are marketing. She also talks about meeting and hanging with her Broad City man crush, Hannibal Buress. We also dive into the perception versus reality of how hard we work even though we work "cool" jobs. There's a ton of pressures, especially as a female in a male dominated industry. Isn't it funny that women worry about a completely different set of issues in their career versus men? Stigma makes it hard to play ball on your terms and we take a focused look at those issues.

Have you used Snapchat yet? We have and it's a motherfucker. We explore its utility past salacious photos, consequences of screen shotting a snap and what fun thangs we've found on Snapchat. Social media makes for all the best awkward situations and we discuss having to put aside your pride in those situations, especially professionally.

On the musical side we look at how artists are now promoting themselves and discuss the once revered mystery of Tool. We chat knowing your talents and growing into them, retiring piercings, changing hair color and all that grown up shit. Another week, another lesson :)

The winter is misery on the east coast and we've taken a beating in the last few months. We talk these treacherous weather conditions and recount both our getaways to Boston (BROTOWN) and Nashville over the past month. In Boston, Zeena re-ignites her love for authentic white meat and we discuss the term "heavy petting" and some choice terms for lady parts.

We ponder the question, "did the forefathers manscape?"

On a more serious tip, we dive into our time on the High Times Instagram and body shaming + trolling in digital spaces. Isn't it ironic that in a world that should be judgement free, so many are fueled by hatred? Jeez, smoke a fat one and shut the fuck up. We discuss wanting to feel special, Zeena joining a new gym and the most important news of the last few weeks - JNCO's making a comeback. THE 90's ARE LEGIT BACK.

We also have a lady of the 90's on as our guest, international singing powerhouse Janet Devlin. Check out her new album "Running With Scissors" + more here: https://twitter.com/janetjealousy http://www.janetdevlin.com/store/

We've been trying to get on that weekly flow but the east coast weather has thrown us into the fire. In this episode we talk about our Superbowl experience, the bullshit Grammy's and one awesome Machinehead show we attended. We also go into Bruce Jenner's timely metamorphosis and the vaccine crisis, because seriously who has time to deal with the black plague?

In true Litterboxx form we dive into the important dating issues of the last few weeks. Between loaded L words, dating someone straight edge and recounting past adventures - there never is a shortage of hysterical activity. We discuss Valentine's Day and proper sexual etiquette, two things that clearly go hand in hand. Excited to have on a kindred female spirit, Tracy G from Sway In the Morning, which you can catch on SiriusXM's Shade 45 every weekday morning.

Some real talk about life, love and of course, sex from the most outrageous group of clams yet :)

Hard to believe that we're already 10 episodes deep but we celebrate our 10th with a bang. We talk about Zeena's experiences at a bachelorette party which fittingly includes good times at Magic Mike heaven, getting ghetto fab at the club club and learning correct bachelorette etiquette. We talk weddings, their value and if it's really for everyone - mainly, us.

The clams explore the possibility of catching "the feelings" and how those lovely thangs play into each person's insecurity and crazy. We also looked deeper into social media context clues and what Facebook, Instagram and Twittter are really doing to help and hurt the relationship struggle. Creepers gunna creep. Did you know there was a beard-centric dating app called "Bristlr?" Now you do.

Because we love funny broads, we chat about Broad City for a few. We even dive into our love for Marc Maron because honestly podcast love, is real love. If you can have someone else project misery in a hilarious way, you might have yourself a winner there.

We also got in our first interview with two amazingly talented and seasoned buds from Black Star Riders, Ricky Warwick and Damon Johnson. The guys were hilarious, check out more on them here: http://blackstarriders.com/

2015 starts with a bang. Katy and Zeena discuss working at Hot Topic + Zeena's VICE Noisey piece talking about those crazy times. We also dive into classy behavior such as stealing food from the buffet, stalking significant others and their current partners on social media and sex education classes. On the more committed end of the spectrum, we talk about being a bridesmaid and all the weird quirks that come with it. We even get into the dreaded M word...MARRIAGE.

Listen in, we're switching to weekly so expect more coming up! :)

2014 was another year of ups, downs, laughs and random dating bullshit. What more could a human ask for?

We start off 2015 recounting our top moments of 2104. Exploring the sorted affair that has been our dating lives, we talk cougar conquests, premium dick pics, creepin tactics and so many more hysterical tales. We chat about the holidays, Zeena's time on the Going Off Track podcast as well as talk about improper etiquette aka, the rudest way to leave someone.

Good times. Hopefully many more in 2015! Thank you for all your support, much love.

Holiday season is the best time to sit back and watch the world hilariously unfold around you. We catch up after Thanksgiving to talk about family madness, Zeena on the YKWD Podcast, courting etiquette and what is/isn't appropriate to wear amongst the hipster crowd.

We also dive in deep with some real issues and discuss Eric Garner, the decade anniversary of Dimebag Darrell's death, Bill Cosby's creep tendencies and of course - the demise of Scott Stapp from Creed. Funny, but not funny all in one.

Listen in as we candidly discuss seeing Motley Crue, the merits/horrors of Lena Dunham and Girls, men experiencing lesbians, getting older and loads of debauchery in-between.
