In this week's episode we talk about The Blood of Jesus and why it is so significant that Christ's blood was shed for us. We look at how life is found in the blood and that blood must be shed for the atonement of the soul and life to be given to another. We look at how Jesus gave His own blood once and for all for eternal redemption to bring us near to Him and the Father and to give us peace. In this week's episode we take a look at Angels and the role that they play in our lives as believers. We look to the Word to see how God describes angels and the different tasks that angels perform throughout His Kingdom. As believers it is important that we know the role of angels because they were vital helpers in Jesus life and ministry and in the events of the early church.

In this episode we take a look at what the Word of God has to say about demons. Demons are real and need to be addressed as Christians to properly understand the battles we face in this world often times originating in our minds. To the believer they should not be feared but overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the name of Jesus. Jesus has set us free from all the power of the enemy to free others from the bondages of the devil that he has put on them through his messengers and ministers the demons.

In this week's episode we take a look at Joy. What really is Joy? And is it really possible to have Joy at all times? We find the answers in the Truth of the Word and talk about how Joy is a spiritual reality more than it is a feeling or emotion that we have. We also take a look at how other spiritual attributes are often associated with Joy such as Faith and Peace. Be of good cheer! The Joy of the Lord is your strength!

In this week's episode we take a look at tongues. Much of the Church today is still confused about what tongues are for and God's purposes through this gift. We dive into the Word to see when tongues occur and how they are to be used both in our personal walk with the Lord and in a setting of being gathered with other believers. Though we don't understand how praying in the Spirit works in our minds Paul boasts that he does it more than anyone so how much more should we desire to pray in the Spirit as well.

This week we take a look at what the Word has to say about prophecy. Much of the Bible itself is prophetic both in its language and its stories. What the Word prophesied about Jesus' first coming all came to pass and the Word has much more to say about what is to come. The Word is also what we can use to test all other prophecy. Next, we close by talking about the difference between prophets and the gift of prophecy and how Paul encourages us all to prophecy.

In this episode we take a look at the Word of God has to say about the Father. Sometimes in Christian culture we forget to focus on the Father and who He really is. Jesus says multiple times that the Father is greater than He but that Him and the Father are also one. We discuss in this episode what this means and how through Jesus we have also been given the choice to become sons and daughters of God as well. We also talk about what it means to identify God Himself as the Father, Creator, and how He is spirit. The Father longs for us to know Him and worship Him so listen in and see what He has to say about who He is.

In this episode we look to the Word to reveal the truth of the return of Jesus Christ. Jesus came as a baby the first time but when He returns He is coming back just as he left. As a man coming upon the clouds in great power and glory. He is also coming back for a different purpose than His first coming. He is coming back to judge all those who would not believe and to rule and reign on the earth. We take a look at how this encourages us as believers and what is to happen to us when He returns.

In this week's episode we take a look at what the Word has to say about Healing. From the Old Testament to the New we continue to see God healing His people. Jesus' ministry is most likely the greatest example of God's power and desire to heal. Join me as we look at Jesus' ministry as the example to how we should expect the same kind of healing to flow through God's people as well. By His stripes we were healed!

This week we take a look at what Jesus calls "The Promise of the Father" before he ascends into heaven. After His resurrection, Jesus told the disciples multiple times and in multiple ways that they should stay in Jerusalem until they receive the promise of the Father, to be given power to be a witness, and preach the Gospel in all the world. Today, we need this same promise of the gift of the Holy Spirit to walk with Jesus and continue to do the things that Jesus did and to make disciples of all nations.

In this episode we take a look at the Resurrection of Jesus and what that has done for those who believe that God raised Him from the dead. Jesus resurrection was foreshadowed in the Old Testament, witnessed by over 500 people, and testified of all over the world unto this day. Without Jesus' resurrection from the dead there would be no hope for us but now we have a living hope and an incorruptible inheritance stored up in heaven for us.

In this episode we look at the Jesus’ death on the cross and what that means for those who have faith in His finished work. We look to the Old Testament first to see how Isaiah prophesied of what was to come. Then, how Jesus perfectly fulfilled that prophecy. And finally, how the Apostles testified to that finished work that removed sin and gave us new life, the very life of God!

In today's episode we take a look at the Church of Jesus Christ as His body and what it means to be part of that body. The Word has a lot to say about the body of Christ and how it is very much like our own bodies. There are many different parts of the body but they all work together and function under the leadership of the head of the body. As the Church we are one body with Christ as our head. Jesus Christ is the entrance to becoming part of His body and His leadership is perfect. Join us as we look at how we are to view other parts of the body and what Jesus said the Church would be built on!

In this episode we take a look at the reality of the new man or new nature that now is alive in us through the Spirit of Christ. The Bible tells us multiple times that we are a new creation and that our spirit has been joined with God's Spirit so that we have become a completely new person. But, we have a part to play in putting off the old man with its old ways, being renewed in the spirit of our minds, and purposefully living in the life of the new nature that is within us by the Spirit of God. We are new in Christ and we are called to walk in that same newness of life.

In this week's episode we look to what the Word says about having a knowledge of God and knowing Him. To successfully live out the Christian life it is necessary that we live in relationship with God or abide in Him as Jesus said. Only then, will we be able to produce the fruit and carry out the commands He has given us. God's original plan in the Garden of Eden was that we would live with God, walking and talking with Him in the cool of the garden, and He has promised that when He returns and makes all things new we will again know Him to the fullest extent of who we were created to be and who He already is.

In this week's episode we are going to look to the Word to see what it has to say about freedom. Freedom from lies, shame, sin, and whatever holds us back from greater relationship with Jesus. Freedom is something that we all desire but it sometimes seems as if there is no answer to the things that keep us bound. In this episode we look at the place that was created for the devil and his demons. Otherwise known as hell. We discuss how hell was never meant to be a place for humans but through sin and disobedience to God many will end up in this place for eternity. We will also look at Scripture that describes the place of hell and what it is like to be in that place. Finally, we look to the end of Revelation to see that all those in hell will be judged at the end of the millenial reign and those whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire forever.

In this episode we look at what the Word of God has to say about God's home and our eternal hope. We take a look at what Jesus has to say about the place that He is preparing for us and whom this place is for. We then look to several passages where Isaiah, Ezekiel, and the apostle John had throne room experiences that show us what is at the center of heaven and what is happening in the throne room of God in heaven. Finally, we look to Isaiah and Revelation to see what the new heaven and new earth will be like and find the end of God's redemptive plan for man, that He would dwell with His people once again.

In today's episode we take a look in at the Will of God. Throughout the Word we see the Bible reference the Will of God as showing us what God's desire is for His people. We will talk about how we can not only know the Will of God but how we can also be empowered by the Spirit of God so that we can align ourselves with God's will for our lives. When we walk in the Will of God we start to experience all of the good promises that God has stored up for His children.

In this week's episode we take a look at the reality of the Kingdoms around us. The reality is that we are living through the middle of a war in the spirit that is waging all around us. Through Jesus we have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of the Son of His Love. In response to this miraculous salvation we are now called to live in awareness to this reality and join in with the Holy Spirit to bring the Kingdom of God to this earth just as Jesus said when He told us to pray for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done here on earth as it is in heaven.

In this episode we take a look at the Gospel and what the fullness of what this Word means. Jesus began preaching the Good News of the Gospel even before He died on the cross and resurrected from the grave. Today the Gospel is still being preached and we find that it is the center point of the Scriptures. The mystery that was long awaited to be revealed to us is now ours to believe in and spread to the rest of our world.

In this episode we finish the series on the 3 things Jesus says we will do as His followers. Today's episode focuses on giving. Giving has been a marking trait of the Christian faith for years but what does the Word actually have to say about it. God likes a certain type of giver and when we give on earth we will find that God actually sees it as if we were giving straight to Him. Giving is a powerful practice in our life that will change our hearts and the world around us for the better.

In this episode we will be taking a look at communion. Communion is the common word used for the meal that Jesus shared with His disciples the night before He was betrayed. The communion meal is full of symbolism that goes all the way back to the time of Moses and the Israelites escaping Egypt and is still practiced today in the Church. Through out all of that time Jesus is the fulfillment and the future of what the communion meal symbolizes.

In this episode we will take a look at baptism, and specifically baptism in water. What does the word baptism mean and when is it appropriate to get baptized? First we look to the Word to find the context of when baptism was done and what were the prerequisites to being baptized. We see that baptism is something that Jesus had His disciples continue and command them to continue to do even after He leaves. Then we look to the Word to see how Paul talks about what baptism symbolizes and means for us as believers in Jesus.

In this episode Josh talks about what it means to have true life. God is the giver of life, both physical and spiritual, and the Devil is the one who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. For the Christian life it is imperative that we recognize this truth of the Word so that we can also learn to truly trust our good, heavenly Father. He is the one who gives life and gave the life of His Son so that we all might walk in His abundant life.

In this episode Josh talks about what and who Love is. God is love but all too often culture says that love is God. To truly understand who God is we also need to know what love is according to the Word. The greatest expression of love to ever be done was a sacrifice and a choice that changed lives and history forever. Jesus tells us that Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth who leads and guides us into Truth. The Word of God is a sword but it is the Spirit of God is the one who wields it.
