Hosts Stephen Ferris & Kris Gale are back in 2023 with the long running Fire Up! show (formerly of FBI Radio) that dives WAY too deep into the absurdities, minutiae, atrocities and huuuuge personalities in the NRL Universe, featuring regular guests and a perfunctory, random and opinionated weekly analysis of every round’s games.
This week's discussion centres on "Wellness" and it's increasingly pervasive role in the Greatest Game Of All. The NEW NRL Coaches - Bennett, Ciraldo, Seibold - seem to be bringing a new approach to the game. Or are they?

Ferris as DJ at the game discusses his magnificent playlist of “send-off tunes” - the first sin binning was marched off the field to “Hit The Road Jack”…..you’ll have to listen in to learn the rest.

Hosts Ferris & Gale discuss the multiple mistakes, missed tackles, sinbinnings, strange coaching moves and the general lack of cohesion that underpinned a game that ended up an exciting last minute win.

This week we feature a very special guest, sports writer and historian Geoff Armstrong, who is the author of the definitive history of St.George - "The Spirit of The Red V" (Pt.1) which details the history of the Dragons from inception through to the epochal era 1956-66, and who is about to release his new book Pt.2 which begins with the losing Grand Final in 1967 and continues through to the now merged St. George/Illawarra entity circa 2021, covering all the incredible Dragons history through the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's.....SO many stories, such a wealth of information, we could have talked all night!!! It was quite humbling talking to someone with such a wealth of knowledge and historical perspective.....tune in for thoughts on everyone from Jayden Sullivan to Constable Craig to The Gasniers to Jermaine Jackson's son Jermajesty.
We also discuss the Rd 23 "chaos" game against The Titans, defined in part by Zac's kicks and flicks, Ben's tackling capacity and the questions that the junior brigade are asking of coach Hook and the list management team.

With our hosts bleeding again and fired up, the hate is starting to boil up and one of our hosts is mad as hell and not going to take it anymore, resorting to the Facebook marketplace of ideas to express his opinion.
In an episode where Prince’s “Joy and Repetition”, James Brown and Philip Glass are all mentioned in the same sentence, the fact of the matter is that coach Hook is under pressure and the distractions coming from the STGI Board are manifold.
Stephen casts aspersions - again - towards the Mergered Joint Venture entity that is STGI and muses on the virtues of it - possibly - consciously decoupling? Also - “Are there 2 entrances to the change room? “Is the statue of Cameron Ciraldo the Holy Grail?,” “Who is the defense coach of the Dragons?”
