Carrying on from the last episode, Lydia and Debbie invited another special guest known as Seun, to join them in discussing Sciences as a career path. Seun shared her own personal experience being a young black british woman, working as a Scientist at the University of Cambridge. Seun's message is clear - if you want it, go and get it, but perseverance is key. Lydia and Debbie did something a little different this week. The girls called up two of their friends to not only for a laugh, but to probe the male mind when it comes to platonic relationships between heterosexual men and women. Bod and Richard stole the show, they touched on so much from the truths about social media and parenting, being Mansa Musa or living as a Samari to discussing credit and finances with prospective partners. Hola listeners! This past week Lydia and Debbie decided to try something a little different by introducing a bookclub series. For the first episode they decided to review 'Slay in Your Lane', written by Yomi Adegoke and Elizabeth Uviebinene. They focused on the Education chapter and shared some of their favourite segments, whilst opening up about their own experiences of being Young, Black and a Girl in Academia.
