In this episode, Kirk and I discuss his journey of Porn addiction and how it destroyed his life. How he overcame that and ended up writing a book and developing a mission to help others recover from Pornography addiction.

For thirty of the first forty years of his life, Kirk was addicted to pornography. Numerous relationships and careers suffered as a result. At his lowest point, Kirk was ready to end his life. Then, after the most significant of breakthroughs, Kirk created a class for men called Free Indeed. Kirk’s real, practical experience makes him uniquely qualified to speak about today’s porn consumer and relationships. Lunasol, a proud witch, activist, consultant heading a global company on transformational practices, the happy holder of 3 passports as evidence that the nation state is a fantasy, and a hopeless music and dance addict.

Lunasol was born and raised a witch in Chile, with strong magical influence from both Indigenous (from Chile) and Italian witch lines. After moving to the US when she was 18, she studied as a solo practitioner, with a coven in upstate New York in the late 90’s, and with the Reclaiming tradition in the SF Bay Area for about 17 years. Lunasol is a communications expert with 30 years of experience in emotional growth techniques, spiritual development tools, healing, ritual, activism and having a whole lot of fun. She has worked with many tools and traditions in her spiritual practice, including intuitive readings and healings, spell casting, Reiki, shamanic work, vision quests, past lives, constellations and the tarot.

Phillip is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Chicago State University (CSU). He is currently serving as an Assistant Vice Provost at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He is a certified training leader in the Mankind Project International, a men’s organization dedicated to teaching emotional literacy and empowering men to missions of service. He has led trainings in the United Kingdom, Israel, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada as well as across the United States. An experienced and skilled facilitator, he has more than twenty years experience in personal growth work.

Lisa has a masters of social work degree, and has been a school social worker for nearly 20 years with the Washtenaw Intermediate School District. 17 of those years were working in the Washtenaw County Juvenile Detention Center where she installed the facility's first vegtable garden, and created a yoga and mediation program for incarcerated and court involved youth, as well as being part of the Washtenaw County Juvenile Drug Court Program.

She is a Kripalu Yoga Certified Instructor, and a Mindfulness Meditation teacher. Lisa is the co-founder and operations manager of the local food and local farm non-profit organization Selma Cafe, which recently granted over $70,000 to local farmers, food makers and others who contribute to local food in our SE Michigan community.

4 years ago Lisa became a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication. She created the Compassionate Communication Center of Ann Arbor, and co-founded Great Lakes NVC, a collaborative venture with other NVC trainers. Lisa currently teaches online NVC classes, sees private coaching clients, and writes about Nonviolent Communication; she also co-leads yearly NVC immersion programs in Ann Arbor.

Welcome to the Illuminate podcast! In this second episode, I will be interviewing Michael Lee, an artist, teacher, therapist and mime.

Michael Lee is a movement artist, movement teacher and movement therapist. He works on stage as a mime and has studied with Marcel Merceaux. He also teaches the art aka "physical acting" to actors and figure skaters from around the world. A few of his figure skating clients have won 3 consecutive years of Gold and Silver medals in the Olympics.

Using Spacial Dynamics he works with patients at the Rudolf Steiner Health Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Teaching healing movements to aid their recovery and growth. At home on his farm near Stockbridge, Michigan, he works and plays with his horses, and teaches movement through handling, riding and driving them.
