Success isn't a straight line!!
This is SUCH an IMPACTFUL episode. Today's episode is different from most we've put out so far.
Matt is joining us after recently getting his ass kicked in business.
Matt runs his own digital marketing agency. He was a few years in and growing at a good clip every year.
He'd gotten some advice to really push for growth. And in doing so he went a little outside his core business. What resulted, was some very short-lived success, followed by the eventual collapse of his business to the point where Matt had to basically start over.
All growth isn't the same!! This happens to SOOO many business owners. We stomp on the gas to push growth, but if we're not organized with our systems or our people, etc - cracks will show and eventually if left unaddressed things will literally fall apart.
Check out this episode to hear how Matt dealt with this punch in the throat, adjusted and how he's building back even better than before.
Sometimes success really boils down to resiliency in the face of adversity! Let's fucking go!

Such an inspirational story from this week's guest, Brian Burnett.
Brian is a perfect example of someone who wasn't supposed to make it. Growing up poor in America, living in public housing - Brian PROVES why America is the greatest country on earth.
At an early age, Brian's dad made a point to instil success principles in Brian and to show him what was possible. His dad helped to ignite a fire sithin Brian that burns sooooo brightly today.
Today, Brian is not only the owner of a successful men's store and bespoke tailoring business in Raleigh, NC and Brian's work is SO fresh! But, he's also a commercial real estate developer AND he coaches other small business owners and startups to help them navigate the waters of entrepreneurship.

The riches are in the niches!! The real estate niches that is.
This week's guest, Jeremy Davidson, is niched down within the real estate business - making waves in the LAND game. This real estate niche can be extremely lucrative and has way less competition at the moment than fix and flips and wholesaling.
The thing I love about Jeremy's story - is that he's BACK into real estate after a several-year hiatus. Jeremy was a real estate entrepreneur years earlier and wound up getting his ass handed to him during the '08 financial crisis. I'm not exaggerating! Jeremy shares in the episode that they had friends and families helping to support them with food and gifts during the holidays while they got back on their feet.
Even after all that, real estate pulled Jeremy out of corporate America again - this time focusing on land.
In this week's episode we discuss:

I absolutely loved recording this episode.
One reason - our guest, Eric Recchia and I, go back like 15 years. We met in a different business that we were both involved in. Always cool to see friends from a previous chapter of your life crushing the game.
Reason number two - Eric and I are technically both failed business owners. The first businesses that we each started, failed. But, we both were able to take what we learned and apply alllll those lessons to the new businesses that we ended up starting. Remember, being an entrepreneur is a game of attrition - if you keep at it long enough and continue to learn from your experiences, I believe you can be successful.
In the episode we discuss Eric's path to where he is today, absolutely crushing the solar game and continuing to grow his business. We also break down how Eric is able to build sales teams successfully.

You have GOT to listen to this podcast!!!
Dr. Amy's story is nothing short of spectacular!
Here's a woman, who knew nothing about the business world, discovered a new way of helping people deal with pain from her experience as a physical therapist - and literally just started taking action.
She shares what she did and how she went from physical therapist employee to owner-operator of a health and wellness business. Dr. Amy's story is a PERFECT example that you DO NOT need to have everything figured out before starting a business.
If you have the drive and the willingness to get uncomfortable and put yourself out there, you never know how far you can go.
