Inspired Grownups with Alana Banana: Recent Episodes

Alana Banana

I'm Alana Gentry, aka Alana Banana (children’s music artist from The Alana Banana Show & foster mom). I love hanging out with kids but I also really love connecting with you, the grownups, taking about life (the ups and downs) and what lights you up. When we give ourselves permission to find and do the things we love everyday, even if it's for a short amount of time, we feel better. When we feel better that influences those around us, especially the little one's in our lives. Each week I'll share stories of people's resilience and have guests that are making an inspired impact in the world. I'll also be putting out shorter solo episodes occasionally to talk about life, parenting and how we can find more presence in our day to day lives. Subscribe for weekly doses of inspiration and follow on Instagram @TheAlanaBananaShow

I'm back with a solo episode about all the feels... how our feelings are the essential guideposts in our lives. Before I recorded this episode I thought about calling it "Feeling Fabulous this Fall" but the truth is that we don't always feel that way, right? So I share a little personal story around this.

It starts with what are we focused on? How does that make us feel? How do we want to feel and moving forward from there. If you want some insight or inspiration around this, take a listen.

I also give you an update on the future of Inspired Grownups and what I'm excited to create in 2025 for kids in the podcast world.

There's definitely a part of being human that requires some scheduling; work, school, appointments, etc. But, what would it look like if we surrendered the (over)scheduling this summer? What new, possibly very exciting, things could we end up making room for? Take a listen for some inspiration around this and to hear a short impromtu song!

I mention my friend Taqdees Razzaq in this episode. She's definitely an inspiration. To learn more about her go toIG@taqdeesrazzaq

The book I mention is Lavender by Tiffany Nicole IG@lavenderthebook

The speakers I mentioned are Now Tone Therapy System

This solo episode was inspired by a question asked around a campfire in the mountains with friend's last week, "if you knew the date of your death, how would you live your life differently?'. Lots of thoughts might come up surrounding this but ultimately all we have is right NOW so how do you want to live your life today?

Take a listen and see what comes up for you...

If you have young children this episode is for you. Today I'm talking with my sister-in-law Alexis Gentry about helping our kids create solutions to problems and building skills instead of giving consequences and focusing only on their behavior. We also talk about the difference between praise and encouragement. I got so much out of this conversation and I hope you do too!

We usually think about celebrating our lives when it's our birthday or celebrating the life of someone we love who has passed on.

Why not do something everyday to celebrate our life, big or small, by doing an activity or simply having a mental reframe or change of perspective on a current circumstance.

This is what I'm talking about today in this solo episode. It was inspired by my best friend's birthday and a spontaneous trip as well as the anniversary of my Dad's passing.

This solo episode is inspired by two passages from the book "Heart Steps" by Julia Cameron.

We live in this time - space reality but we've also heard from Einstein and other physicists that "time is an illusion". Today I talk about how we can work with those ideas to take some pressure off of ourselves and enjoy our lives more.

In this solo episode, I'm talking about the importance of listening to those inner nudges that whisper to us to do something that we know will bring us more joy or help us to feel better. Something that originally wasn't on our "to do" list or plans. If we follow it we most likely will be pleasantly surprised at what comes about.

Today I'm talking with co-founder of August Uncommon Tea, Gina Zupsich. This conversation is more than a discussion around tea, we talk about travel, being open to the magic of life, how great things can happen after misfortune, staring a new business and allowing things to come to you. Whether you're a tea drinker or not, you'll be inspired by this conversation.

Gina Zupsich leads culinary development and brand voice at August. She has always favored her senses of smell and taste. Her nomadic childhood allowed her to explore scent and flavor across the American landscape. Her first visit to France at age 16 was a culinary and cultural revelation which led her to earn an MA in French Cultural Studies from Columbia University and a PhD in French Literature from UC Berkeley.

During her research in France, she alternated long hours at the library with adventures in fashion, perfume and food. In 2013 the lure of a more sensuous life led her to leave academia to co-found August Uncommon Tea, in which her fantasy of becoming a chef, perfumer, chemist, and novelist collide. She spends her free time writing poetry, comedy bits and gardening. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband/business partner, their daughter and their dog.

I'm coming off of a 3 day retreat in Santa Barbara, CA and am reflecting on the power of giving yourself a little or a lot more time and space. When we allow this for ourselves we get more clarity on what it is we really want...which can be ever changing...and on how we're honestly feeling.

What do you love to do? What can you take off your plate? These are a few things I bring up in this episode.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is so important for all of us, especially young kids and adding music into the equation makes it more fun, engaging and memorable.

I love the music that my guests today are sharing with kids, teachers, parents and caretakers.

“Acoustic Kindie Rock band “Narwhals and Waterfalls” consists of Singer-Songwriters Paige Bell and Adrien Palmer. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, they have both taught music to children ages 0 to 5th grade. In 2018, they connected over their passion to write creative, original songs for kids, that would be enjoyable for both kids and grown-ups alike.

N&W strives to write simple SEL that align with children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. So whether you’re a professional educator, a stay-at-home parent, a family friend or any other kind of teacher, N&W’s music promotes learning and movement, and will enhance your “student’s” life.

In this conversation we talk about how Paige & Adrien met, what got them into making Children's music, how being a parent has changed how they create and teach and how they're helping other parents and educators through their music and SEL resources.

This week I'm sharing a short solo episode about a topic that's been on my mind recently. One way to help us live happier, more peaceful lives is to focus on the things we love about someone instead of what bugs or annoys us.

Nobody is perfect and we all have things we're working on, right? Usually when we judge others, we're also judging ourselves. A benefit of focusing on the good in someone is that it ultimately helps us to feel better and can aid in any relationship. Take a listen to hear more.

Today I'm talking with a fellow Children's music artist, Miss Julieann! I'm so inspired by the music and message she's sharing with kids and families, especially those who have gone through or are going through a hard time.

In this conversation we talk about the impact of trauma on the neurological system and how music can help, some of her own challenges and how she's gotten through them and her look at healing from a holistic perspective.

She was 39 weeks pregnant when we recorded this conversation and I'm excited for journey as a new Mama!

Miss Julieann is a children's musician and music therapist, nature educator and wild foods forager. In 2019 she won a parent's choice award for her album "Therapeutic Songs for Kids". She has just released her new album, Resilient Child, which serves as a musical guide for helping kids build the core resilience skills they need to overcome trauma, stress, and and the everyday challenges of life. Have you heard of Heart Coherence? Today I'm talking with my friend, Mesha McKittrick, about what it is and how we're able to create more bliss, peace and joy in our lives when we're tapped in to it.

We've all been in a state of heart coherence at some point or another. Mesha is offering a 6 week course, Heart Sync, starting at the end of October 2023 teaching us the science behind it and how we can practice being in this place every day if we wanted to...and why would we NOT want to! I've signed up for it and if this conversation inspires you we'd love to see you there.

Sign up for her FREE mini course to learn more HERE >>

Mesha is a Mind & Heart Coach and creator of the podcast, Mindset Check. Through her brand My Friend Mesha, she is a Coach, Social Influencer and a Public Speaker. She graduated from ASU with a degree in Communications and an emphasis in Family Studies. She is also a registered Heart Math Technician though the Heart Math Institute. Her passion is teaching people that they have more power than think they do. She believes that what matters in life is NOT what happens, what matters is what you THINK about what happens.

Mesha has been married to her boyfriend for 24 years. She has 3 boys and an angel girl and she absolutely adores being their mom. She geeks out about the brain, quantum physics, heart intelligence and loves to learn endlessly about these topics. She is a yogi inside and out and if you put on a good beat she can’t help but dance! Paddle boarding and hiking add to her happiness!

She knows that when we live inspired it causes us to take actions that we otherwise would not have taken. It’s important for her to help others find the power that is already inside of them.

Today I'm talking with an incredible woman, musician, mom and fellow kid's artist, Molly Whuppie. We discuss how she got her name, exposing kids to all the emotions through music and stories, how she got into music, being a mom and more.

Molly is a children's music performer in Hawai'i. She has a special place in her heart for traditional folk songs and many of the songs she shares are from her own childhood growing up in Canada.

She is fascinated with folk song history and often shares unusual folk and novelty instruments in her live and online performances, such as the musical saw or the jaw harp. She also incorporates folk toys, such as wooden spoon dolls and jig dolls, into her songs. Sometimes she plays a paper bag to demonstrate that music is everywhere if you look for it. Families resonate with her gentle and playful approach to community music.

Over the past few years Molly has amassed over 875,000 social media followers by uploading daily videos featuring nostalgic and historical children's songs. She has transcended the "children's music" genre into a sort of " of memories" for all ages. In the comments sections, people share how they play her videos to connect with memory-loss patients, as calming sleep aids, and as tools for managing anxiety attacks.

In regards to being a children's music performer, she says, "Children are hardwired to respond to music. You don't need a lot of bells and whistles to earn their attention; you just need to be kind and sing good songs. Some of these kids are going to remember these songs for the rest of their lives, so I have a responsibility to choose the songs wisely.”

She has released three singles this past year, all in preparation for her upcoming album releases planned for this fall.

If you have a toddler or preschooler this episode is for you. I brought back my friend Dinuka Ranasinghe to talk about how we can help our kids through their separation anxiety or even our own! There are so many great take aways from this conversation.

Dinuka is first and foremost the mother of 2 amazing boys ages 14 and 12. They have been her true teachers on this path of Conscious Parenting.

Having been admitted to the New York Bar in 2008 as an attorney she decided to follow her calling to work with children. She jumped right in and bought a Preschool, Kid Works Children’s Center. In search of more wisdom, she completed and graduated from the Conscious Coaching Institute of Dr. Shefali Tsabary and received her Conscious Parenting Method Certification in 2019, prior to which she certified in the Emotion Code Energy Healing Modality by Dr. Bradley Nelson, where the core Inner Child healing occurs and Generational Patterns are released.

Dinuka is also the CEO of The Parenting Evolution as a conscious living coach helping with parenting and partnering.

In this fourth Mama Tribe episode I was inspired to have a conversation about fostering independence in our kids since it's being released on America's Independence Day, July 4th (which also happens to be my sister's birthday!)

I'm sharing this conversation with my friend's Rachael Blair and Dinuka Ranasinghe who are mama's of different aged kids & who have both been on previous episodes of the show.

I initially brought to the table the topic of how to help our children become independent during different stages of their lives while moving away from dependence on us. The conversation then became about "connection" and how it's all about us connecting with them which in turn brings about more independence and confidence in their lives.

Rachael Blair is a wife, mother of 3 and a nurse. By focusing on mind-body-heart awareness, how we create with our thoughts and using emotions as a feedback mechanism, she’s teaching parents and children how to connect to their inner voice. When we align with that voice, we are able to follow our curiosity, passion, and find so much joy. She hopes to uplift and inspire families to bring more imagination, creativity and playfulness into every home.

How often do you follow your intuition or intuitive nudges? I loved diving deep with Orly in our conversation around all things intuition, how to follow it and strengthen our connection to it and then merging into talking about communicating with loved one's from the other side.

We met at an event here in LA and immediately connected over the loss of our father's and how we now communicate with them even though they're not in their physical bodies anymore, the inspiring messages that come through and following what brings us joy.

Orly Altaras is a psychic medium currently living in los Angeles. She is the owner of Lara & Lou, an online shop providing goods and services for your spirit and home and is a wife & mom of two adorable children. Three things that light her up are her family, everything under the spiritual realm and personal growth.

Orly offers classes on how to tap into intuition, receive divine guidance and create your heart's desires. Her next course, Intuition to Fruition, opens up in September.

My guest today, Karen Stoteraux, took a big leap of faith when she moved across country with her 3 year old after a divorce. We talked about how she found the courage to make the move and then create a community and space for new parents after her twins were born.

Karen is the owner, founder, and CEO of The Family Room. Her passion for supporting women is tied to her own experience as a mother to three girls. After the birth of her twins, Karen was shocked by the lack of comprehensive support in her local community for women and families entering parenthood. She decided the best way to help families was to create a space just for parents and bring the most experienced birth, postpartum, and infant and child development professionals in the community under one roof. In 2014, Karen created what she wished existed. Today, The Family Room has two locations in the Los Angeles- area. Karen lives in Pasadena with her husband and children.

If you're curious about meditation or already have a practice this episode is for you. I've been meditating for over 2 decades but still love to hear about other peoples process, how it works for them and how it's changed their lives.

Today I'm talking with Masako Kozawa who says "you can't do it wrong!" which I love.

Masako Kozawa is a Japanese native and a longtime resident of the United States. She holds a bachelor's degree in Speech Communication and a master's degree in Applied Psychology. Since a young age, she enjoyed visual art. The form of her artistic expression developed from drawing to photography and painting over time.

During her career in the legal industry, she started practicing mindfulness meditation in order to manage her stress. Having experienced a tremendous amount of benefits, she became a certified meditation teacher through CHILL Chicago, now known as CHILL Anywhere.

In January 2022, she started her podcast, "Why not meditate?" with a mission to encourage anyone to try out meditation as an effective form of self-care. In May 2022, she published her first journal, "Journal - Whispers from your soul" which includes some of her photography work and inspiring messages.

Having gone through many challenging and enriching life experiences in her 20s and 30s, such as living abroad, divorce, single parenting, spiritual awakening, etc., she now offers one-on-one coaching for people who wish to live a life that is more authentic and aligned to them. She currently resides in Florida, soaking up the sun that she had missed while living in Chicago for 15+ years."

This conversation with my guest, Elizabeth Brunner, is so much more than talking about kids clothes. It's about being an advocate for our children, following the strong impulses to create something more in our life and career, conscious parenting and conscious living.

Elizabeth is the Founder and CEO of StereoType, a pioneering gender-free kids' fashion brand that aims to break-free from traditional gendered clothing by creating what she coined as "blended fashion" — a mix of girl and boy esthetics that are equal in value and defined by no one.

Inspired by her girl-boy twins to start StereoType, Elizabeth would observe her twins who at a young age would often naturally be drawn to wear pieces from each others' closets to create their own unique blended fashion style that authentically represented who they are and how they wanted to dress. From watching her twins dress, Elizabeth was inspired by the way they joyfully broke the rules of traditional dressing and soon realized it was time to unlearn the rules of gendered fashion. She did this by supporting and encouraging her twins to discover their individuality by embracing a blended fashion approach where any piece of clothing could be worn by any child, regardless of gender.

It's a big topic and one that I was interested in diving into with my mama friend's, Lara Plutte and Rachael Blair. This is our second Mama Tribe episode discussing topics around mothering through the ages and stages of life with kids. I love hearing the different perspective and experiences we all bring to the table.

With more than 25 years of meditation & yoga experience, Lara Plutte is a practicing therapist with an integrative approach to healing & wholeness. Lara combines her experiences as a therapist, teacher, writer & mom to provide unique & practical healing tools & support to her clients. She has a Masters in Social Work & the Arts, is a graduate of InsightLA’s Mindfulness Facilitator Training & a wife & mom to 2 teenagers, 2 cats, 2 dogs & 1 dragon.

Rachael Blair is host of the podcast Raising Vibrant Kids. She is a wife, mother of 3 and a nurse. By focusing on mind-body-heart awareness, how we create with our thoughts and using emotions as a feedback mechanism, she’s teaching parents and children how to connect to their inner voice. When we align with that voice, we are able to follow our curiosity, passion, and find so much joy.

Do you realize how often we all say the word "should" and how we actually feel when we say it? What if you stopped saying it all together and got really clear on what you WANT. This is an important conversation I'm having with my guest, Tricia Huffman, today. We talk about her background and incredible book "F the Shoulds. Do the Wants."

Tricia Huffman, aka Your Joyologist, is a rock and roll roadie at heart and by first career. This is our first Mama Tribe episode discussing topics around mothering through the ages and stages of life with kids. Today we're talking about what happens when you want something and your child wants something different, you have different expectations or you have different desires so how to we combine them and create a harmonious environment. Today we're hearing a story of healing and transformation with the practice of breathwork from my dear friend Tina Marie. We've all heard about how beneficial taking deep breaths is but this practice is different from that or yogic breathing.

Tina Marie is a gifted healer, Angelic Channel, International Speaker, & Goddess Oracle. She is a Reiki and IET® Master Trainer, Certified Past Life and Crystal Healer, she is also a IKYTA Kundalini Yoga Instructor and creator of the I AM Rising Podcast and Goddess Warriors Rising Program. Today we're talking with one of my long time friend's Lara Plutte. Lara and I started this conversation a few weeks ago when she asked me to be a part of KCRW's 24 hr radio race with her. We wrote, produced and recorded a 4 min non-fiction piece around the theme they gave us that day which was "your secret is safe with me" which you'll hear at the end of this episode.

It inspired us to have a deeper conversation around secrets, parenting and how to return to the present moment in challenging times. There are so many great take aways in this episode.

With more than twenty-five years of formal and informal meditation and yoga experience, Lara is now a practicing therapist with a focus on practical tools to care for yourself and others in the present moments of life. It was when Lara became a mom, 18 years ago, that she truly dove into mindfulness meditation to support her deep desire to be present for, accept, even embrace the wild ride of parenting. We've all heard about the importance and benefits of bringing gratitude into our daily lives.  In this short solo episode I talk about not feeling physically great and waking up in the middle of the night with the very clear message of "Find simplicity in gratitude". I talk about how that helped me move forward in my week and how the reminder of this can help us stay present and create more space in our minds and in our lives. I also share a song I wrote for The Alana Banana Show a few years back at the end called "Thank You".

My guest today is a very talented singer-songwriter (and mom) who has spent much of her life sharing music and sound in different ways.

We met through the yoga community years ago and decided to have a conversation with each other that we would share on both of our podcasts. Mine being "Inspired Grownups" and her's being "Inspired Artist". We get into the many ways music & sound can help us heal and grow at different times in our lives.

I love hearing stories of mom entrepreneurs that help others along the way. That is what my guest, Holly Cooper, is doing. The nature of her products boost our immune systems and can help us stay healthy.

Holly is the founder of Seattle Elderberry. She started the business unintentionally 5 years ago when she couldn't find clean, organic elderberry syrup that she wanted to use for her family. With a background in biology, Holly was impressed by the numerous studies she read that shared about the benefits of elderberry. Holly is married to her husband Daniel, and is mom to three adorable kids. She loves sunshine, fluffy animals and tattoos.

We talk about starting and growing her business while being a mom, finding organic elderberries in Poland and listening to your intuition through it all.

Today I'm talking with my friend Dinuka Ranasinghe. This conversation is an important one for any parent or caretaker. I got so much out of it and know you will too.

Dinuka is first and foremost the mother of 2 amazing boys ages 12 and 10.

Her deep passion for healing went further, when in 2021 she completed Dr. Gabor Mate's short course with facilitation in Compassionate Inquiry which is when her trauma-informed coaching practice grew.

Her experience in Early Childhood Development plays a pivotal role in Conscious Parenting having observed and worked with hundreds of families and teachers for over a decade, while the Energy Healing modality assists in an efficient and speedy transformation of Parents and Coaches alike.

Today I’m sharing the first episode from one of my favorite podcasts “Mindset Check” with My Friend Mesha.

Mesha has decided to read to us from her journal starting when she was 15 and pregnant. The idea is that while she is honoring her 15 year old self she is holding space for all of us in the struggle. She will share all the background to her story and the things that she learned along the way in hopes to provide you with similar breakthroughs in your own mindset.

Todays episode focuses on telling her parents that she was pregnant and the way they supported her through that. We learn in this episode that what matters most as you go through your trials is your mindset about them AND that who you're becoming is more important than who you have been.

In today's episode, on my birthday,  I'm sharing a personal conversation I had with my Dad six weeks before he transitioned from this physical world. Having him as my father is one of the best gifts I could've ever asked for and received.

It's a life story of unconditional love, breaking cycles of abuse, following your passion, losing it all and building it up again, falling back in love again in your 60’s and creating the life of your dreams.

I mention a solo episode I recorded right before his passing but released after called "Connecting With Spirit". You can listen HERE>>

Today we're continuing an incredible story of resilience with Farhana Hossain.

After the loss of her daughter, Eesha at 18 months old, we talk about Farhana's healing journey and how she was able to find joy again.

Farhana Hossain is a mother and artist helping survivors of loss find their strength and voice through art. She launched her online store, Shakti Art Studios a year ago in memory of my first daughter. She offers custom illustrations under her Life After Loss series, where she works with grieving clients to show precious moments or teachings from their grief journey. Her Affirmation series features her daughter in empowering illustrations for children. She also published a children's journal book called "I Believe in Me", which is the first of a series featuring little warriors to raise awareness of their unique medical challenges.

Farhana is currently developing a 6 - 8 week virtual workshop called "Bloom" geared towards those processing grief. The workshop aims to plant a little joy in the broken parts of our hearts through art. When we are grieving, we often fight the feeling of no longer being in control of our lives. Life feels unfair, and nothing seems to be going according to plan. Does that sound familiar to you? In this workshop, you will be developing a water colour painting like the one she created earlier this year (https://www.instagram.com/reel/CbxXrckgarh/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link) - a bouquet of flowers coming out of a heart. In working with a living, moving element like water and applying pigments to it, you will find that you're NOT in control of where these pigments end up. You will learn to resist the urge to push the pigments around to colour in the flower petal in the way you want. Instead you will observe with curiosity how the pigments in water move, settle and appreciate the beauty in it. The workshop will focus on acceptance, finding beauty & joy in what is here now which is a critical part of healing.

We all have dreams we'd like to see manifest. I believe if we can dream it, we can be it. If the future has endless possibilities then it's about having faith instead of giving into fear (or False, Evidence Appearing Real).

We talk about this and more in this last episode of my solo series. I've been breaking down the word INSPIRED and discussing what each letter represents to me and how we can all use it to uplift our own lives.

In today's episode we'll be talking about the letter "D" representing "DREAM".

I - I AM

S - Spirit

P - Presence

I - Identity

I think we all want the best for our kids. That usually starts with how we take care of ourselves, find joy and do things we love so that we can model that for them.

Today we're talking with Rachael Blair and this conversation will definitely inspire you.

Rachael is the host of a new podcast, Raising Vibrant Kids. She is a wife, mother of 3 and a nurse. When we align with that voice, we are able to follow our curiosity, passion, and find so much joy. She hopes to uplift and inspire families to bring more imagination, creativity and playfulness into every home. Let the Joy Revolution Begin!

So much of our life experience comes down to how we process things and our perspective on it. When we really take a look at our mindset it can change everything.

Today we’re talking with My friend Mesha, aka Mesha McKittrick. We discuss her story of becoming pregnant at 15 and losing her child at 9 1/2 months. We talk about family and connecting with our loved ones once they've passed. Her resilience and perspective is inspiring.

How do you feel about being in your kitchen? That can be a loaded question or something that changes for us day to day.

This week we’re talking with Jules Blain Davis about finding freedom, beauty and healing in the kitchen and in our day to day lives. The conversation is deep and thought provoking.

Jules is a kitchen healer, a TED speaker and one of Goop’s leading experts on women’s healing. She is on a fierce journey to spread permission, freedom, beauty and LOVE like wildfire all over our phenomenal lives, in and out of the kitchen.

Jules has been called “the midwife to life” encouraging women to live the life that is right here, right now. She is a pioneer, breaking open a new genre of healing that integrates the kitchen as a safe place to grieve, to cook, to breathe, to move, to BE and to rebirth ourselves inside the same place that shaped us.

Have you ever wondered if acupuncture can really help? Do you have a gluten sensitivity and don’t think you can eat real bread? In today’s episode we talk with Mary Parr about these topics as well as a severe condition that can happen during pregnancy, Hyperemesis Gravidarum or HG. To learn more about it you can go to HER Foundation at https://www.hyperemesis.org/.

About Mary:

Mary is an Acupuncturist, Intuitive Healer, and Sourdough Bread teacher. She seeks to empower people through the wisdom of Eastern Medicine and ancient methods of baking real bread. After she herself had many issues with “gluten”, she took a chance on eating bread when she was away in France and found herself feeling great, without any of her usual digestive upset nor brain fog. With a Master’s Degree in Eastern Medicine and a keen interest in whole food nutrition, she came home determined to find out why she and so many thousands of other people In the US had a similar issue with bread. After returning home with French flour, she started baking, quickly realizing that the secret was in the use of a sourdough starter, whole grains, and longer fermentation. Fast forward 7 years later, Mary has taught nearly 2,000 people to bake their own sourdough in the comfort of their own home.

She combines her Eastern Medicine practice, plant medicine allies, and intuitive healing work with her love of great bread and connection. It’s become a spiritual practice for her and she loves sharing her methods with everyone she meets.

Mary lives in Central NJ, where is is in Private Practice and teaches sourdough both on Zoom and in-person. She is a proud Mama to two sweet boys and one fur-baby, and a loving wife to her amazing hubbie.
