Welcome to the show! You've reached Brýn's Quill whether you landed her by accident or on purpose. You are welomce and appreciated.
Once a month I do a podcast that is a book review of my favorite read of the previous month. This podcast give a short overview of the book "Tidepool" by Nicole Willson. Nicole is a fellow HWA Virginia chapter member. I haven't had the honor of meeting her in person, but I picked her book from a list of our members. I was glad I did. I am finding out quickly that there is a lot of talent in HWA Virginia and have other people's book on tap.

I will continue reviewing at least one book a month. Sometimes it is hard to pick the favorite book of the preceding month. It’s especially hard as I read multiple genres of books
Thanks for listening and have an awesome day!

Hi all and thanks for joining us at Brýn's Quill.
Happy Friday the 13th!
In this podcast, I give a little informaiton on my status for the upcoming book. I talk a little bit about the editing process that's going on behind the scenes. But I also talk about by Book Cover Woes. Book covers are challenging for my type of writing. I explain why and where I am with this.
I also give some information on an upcoming event where I will have an author table and some books available -- and may ("MAY") even do some reading while there. The event information will be posted in FB and on the webpage. The Vineyard doesn't have this up on their calendar yet. But once it is, I'll share that link as well.
Happy Friday the 13th! Happy Reading.

Hi all and thanks for joining us at Brýn's Quill.
In this podcast, I give a quick overview of the H.P. Lovecraft story "The Dreams in the Witch House" as I continue reviewing at least one book a month. Sometimes it is hard to pick the favorite book of the preceding month. It’s especially hard as I read multiple genres of books. And this month was no different. What I expected to review ended up being tossed to the wayside.
So, you ended up with me reviewing a short story instead of a full length novel. But I do still recommend you read this tale and perhaps delve into other works of Lovecraft as well.

Welcome to the show very first episode of our show ‘Brýn’s Quill’.
For those of you who do not know me, I am Brýn Grover, the author of "The Golem and Other Stories" and "All Things End?" Both of these are collections of short stories ranging from fantasy to gothic to horror to supernatural in nature. I am also a writer of poetry. But this episode is more of an introduction to fictional side of things.
On a side note, while the spelling of my first name is ‘unusual’, it is pronounced like the normal Brian (with an ia or with a ya in the middle). In fact, later in this podcast I am going to give a quick review of a book by another Bryan (one with the ‘ya’ spelling).
This podcast gives a short overview of me but then I get into reviewing the book "Riapoke" by Bryan Nowak
