We have no licenses, degrees, diplomas, or authority beyond our experience to qualify us for this discussion. We are not here to argue, tell the truth, or pose as any academic or scientific thesis, medical diagnosis, prognosis, prescription, cure, discipline, or philosophy. This discussion is apolitical and not a replacement or in opposition to any religion, theology, or any practice, therapy, protocol, ritual, you choose to follow. It is suggested you take direction from anyone you are free to rely on including professionals. Neither is this a suggestion to suspend skepticism when due or question any questionable authority. This is not a course, class, or teaching though it can increase your sense of thought-full awareness as we look accurately at and undo obsessive thoughts. We can dis-spell the broken words used in the immoral stories we tell and the rumors we spread to reinforce the excuses we use as lies while thinking they can be hidden. Trying to turn what is false into truth, is to think lies can be turned into reality. Twisting what is wrong into right or right into wrong turns our stomachs and actions against our nature. This impossible attempt is a broken fixation and the primary cause of addiction so reactive, impulsive, and compulsive behaviors are the natural consequence of this unnatural behavior. Our discussion does not ask or require understanding, belief, faith, trust, hope, or agreement. Considering what you read and hear is like learning how well shoes fit by walking in them. First impressions are not always reliable. Waking thought to what we know confirms our nature is bright and the seeming dense, defensive, dark fractured mental state experienced during chronic flurries of obsessive thoughts are expressing something is wrong. Self Realization and Self Actualization is the realization that what is actually happening, is happening. Humility is having things as they are not in greater or lesser terms we can make up. Humility is honesty, acceptance and the concession things are as they are no matter what we think. Reactions and responses are guides as posted signs of our body’s language. Reactions are defensive while responses are considerate aligned with our natural awakened contemplative state and meditation. Our functional literacy and capacity is determined by well we read our body’s language, or how well we are thinking about what is actually happening. Nature is function’s guide. Dysfunction is evidence of unnatural addictive thoughts. Our natural functional capacity is useful, valuable, generous and productive since we are naturally abundant. Introducing thought to what we know and share allows thought to Rest In Peace on earth rather than wait till we’re in it. We are accurate observers of our experience or we would not know when something is wrong. If you suffer from obsessive thinking you know it though you may not think so or know why. We're here to talk about it. Thanks for your presence and response-ability. Questions, comments, topics? contact@mentalobsession.com
