With over 25 years of experience in producing dance music - with some of his music earning Grammy shortlist recognition - Will has not only honed his own skills to perfection but has also dedicated himself to sharing his knowledge with aspiring producers around the globe.
Since the launch of EDM Tips in 2016 Will has cultivated a thriving community of over 225,000 followers on his YouTube channel. But it doesn't stop there – beyond all his free content, tutorials, and advice, Will has taken his passion for teaching to the next level.
Through various coaching programs he has guided thousands of electronic dance music producers, helping them secure releases on prestigious labels. Taking everything into consideration it is no surprise that Will has become a go-to resource for anyone eager to master the art of producing professional-quality EDM, covering genres like Techno, House, Trance, Progressive, and more.
In this interview we talk about the origins of EDM Tips and how he transformed his YouTube channel into such a big success in just a few short years. We also explore the pivotal role entrepreneurship has played in his journey as a producer, mentor and coach, what it’s like to work with a team and you’ll hear Will’s thoughts on what it takes to make it in the music industry and much more!

December is the month many of us turn inward, reflect on the past year and set goals and intentions for the year to come. I’ve been doing this a couple years in a row now. And I honestly believe doing this so-called ‘year reset’ has actually helped me to grow over the past couple years, both on a personal and professional level.
In part 2 of the ‘goal setting for your music business miniseries’ I share my goal setting process. An intentional and practical process that will help you make a plan for your music business for the new year that not only works, but leaves you feeling excited and motivated as well!
