A podcast focused on political, socio economic & cultural issues in Naija with a view of offering a solution in form of advisory of what can work in the Naija context.
In this first Episode - Tosin, a highly skilled migrant in the Netherlands, joins me to discuss about understanding religion in Nigeria.
In this first episode, we touch on Tosin's belief as a recent agnostic and mine as a Christian and how both fit (or not) into the religious landscape in Nigeria. We also discuss some practical aspects of what our beliefs entail and their implications in Nigeria.
We further discuss how religion affects the society and attempt to address the question of where to draw the line. We also relate our experiences/observations of religious practices among different cultures, especially in the Netherlands as compared to Nigeria.
We wrap up this episode with the message that what is essential, regardless of one's religious belief/unbelief, is love -- to coexist peacefully irrespective of differing opinions.
Enjoy!
