It's natural for us to wonder if God will use the things we go through. As humans we only have a basic view of our lives but God sees the bigger picture at all times. In this episode, you'll hear tips on how to navigate seasons when you're wondering if God will use your story. 4 When the whole nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the Lord said to Joshua, 2 “Choose twelve men from among the people, one from each tribe, 3 and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.”4 So Joshua called together the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe, 5 and said to them, “Go over before the ark of the Lord your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites, 6 to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 7 tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.” - Joshua 4:1-4Stacking Stones by Bridge Worship ft. This episode is about reminders for ourselves when we are in a dark valley. Sometimes, we’ll go through dark valleys and when we do, it’s easy to feel alone, scared and hopeless. These feelings are valid and we should acknowledge them. It’s also important to encourage ourselves with reminders of hope when we’re going through a tough season. For today’s episode I had a special guest with me to talk about motherhood and friendship. We’ve heard that we were created for community but how do we go about creating a community for ourselves, nurturing friendships and being a friend to others? We’ll discuss all of this and more in today’s episode. My special guest is Kaysha Whitaker. She’s a believer, wife, mother, entrepreneur and she also happens to be one of my best friends. Kaysha is a woman who honors God and seeks to obey Him in every area of her life. She’s taught me so much about what it means to be a woman of God and a friend. Have you ever yelled at your kids or forgotten something they needed for a project and then started to have critical thoughts about yourself? I know I have. After making a mistake (which we will make mistakes because we are humans) the enemy loves to plant seeds of doubt around your purpose of being a mom to your kids. Remember, God intentionally paired you with your kids. In these moments choose to switch your focus from your mistakes to how good God is and how worthy He is. ”Taste and see that the Lord is good. This episode comes from John 2:3-10. As moms, there is something supernatural that happens when we use words that don’t limit our children. The scripture reads: “The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother told him, “They have no more wine.” “Dear woman, that’s not our problem,” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.” But his mother told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” Standing nearby were six stone water jars, used for Jewish ceremonial washing. Each could hold twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” When the jars had been filled, he said, “Now dip some out, and take it to the master of ceremonies.” So the servants followed his instructions. When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. “A host always serves the best wine first,” he said. “Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!”“John 2:3-10 NLTContact: Stay in touch with me on IG & TikTok: @deneamarable --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thefaithfilledmompodcast/message

Your thoughts and words toward your children matter. The scripture reference for this episode is John 2: 1-11 ““Three days later there was a wedding in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there. Jesus and his disciples were guests also. When they started running low on wine at the wedding banquet, Jesus’ mother told him, “They’re just about out of wine.” She went ahead anyway, telling the servants, “Whatever he tells you, do it.” Six stoneware water pots were there, used by the Jews for ritual washings. Each held twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus ordered the servants, “Fill the pots with water.” And they filled them to the brim. “Now fill your pitchers and take them to the host,” Jesus said, and they did. When the host tasted the water that had become wine (he didn’t know what had just happened but the servants, of course, knew), he called out to the bridegroom, “Everybody I know begins with their finest wines and after the guests have had their fill brings in the cheap stuff. But you’ve saved the best till now!””John 2:1-3, 5-10 MSGContact me: thefaithfulledmompodcast@gmail.com Instagram and TikTok: @thefaithfilledmompodcast. Here are a few of the many reasons we should go to God for validation and our worth.
Scripture Reference: "Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help." - Hebrews 4:14-16

Voices of imperfection tend to be the loudest, the key is to embrace our imperfections and bring them to God. Our God loves to work through our imperfections and multiply our efforts. We can rest and be refreshed letting go of the expectation to be perfect when we know we serve a God who loves to work through our imperfections.
The Scripture Reference for this episode is from 2 Kings 1-7, it reads:
"The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that he revered the Lord. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves.”
2 Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?”
“Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.”
3 Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few. 4 Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.”
5 She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. 6 When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.”
But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.
7 She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”

Today's episode is all about strength, and struggle. In today's society, we've been taught that the absence of struggle is strength. That's just not true. Mama, we were never created to do everything in our own strength, so that means we will struggle from time to time. Philipians 4:13 tells us that we can do all things through Christ. Nowhere in that scripture does it say that we can do all things though ourselves. It's okay to struggle, mama. God's got you.
