The Bible can seem like such a daunting book to read and to try and understand. Today we will talk about how to get started in really understanding how to go through the process of understanding what the Bible means.
Let's be honest... spending time with God isn't always sunshine and roses. What are we supposed to do when the time you spend with God starts to get boring or just too hard and God feels like He's far away?
A life well-lived is one that is lived with a rhythm. We are so passionate about having conversations that bring health and balance to the lives of Drake students. This is definitely a conversation we are having on a regular basis - How do we create healthy rhythms when life is constantly changing?
Holistic health is a huge topic of conversation. But when we talk about holistic health, we are talking about being healthy in all 3 areas of our person: Body, Soul, and Spirit. Our physical person, our emotional person, and our spiritual person.
Why did Jesus come into the world? To save us from our sins. What do we need to do to enter into salvation? Simply believe.
It’s about this time every semester, 3 weeks in, that the first round of exams begins. It is stressful no matter your year or major. Let’s talk about how to manage that stress and what happens if you totally bomb!
As classes get started and the process of making friends begins, building relationships on campus can be somewhat daunting. How do we actually do it and do you really have to be friends with everyone?
