I am PJ Jones, and my story begins with deep generational trauma. I am a product of abuse—born from the violence my mother endured. Growing up in a home of neglect, alcoholism, and abuse, I was never given a space to feel seen, safe, or accepted.
At 16, I fell into the hands of a man 7 years my senior, beginning an abusive, controlling, and narcissistic relationship that lasted over a decade. By my late 20s, I had finally broken free, but the wounds remained. I poured everything I had into raising my children, believing that being a good mother was my redemption.
Then, in 2017, my world shattered. I lost my oldest son to gun violence. It was a pain so deep, I didn’t think I’d ever recover. But that loss also sparked a turning point—I realized I had to heal, not just for myself, but for the people I love and for others who are still trapped in silence.
Now, I stand as a survivor. I’ve done the hard work of healing and rebuilding. I became a Holistic Motivational Empowerment Strategist, certified NLP Practitioner, life coach, and author of A Place to Belong, a book that shares my story and shines a light on trauma, healing, and the power of reclaiming our lives.
My mission is to break the silence on trauma and show others that no matter how deep the pain runs, healing and hope are possible.

She is currently in the process of transitioning into new roles. She has a ministry called Cookies and JESUS and she's moving to West Virginia to work as a Survivor Advocate. Megan Claire Murphy is a professional actress in her thirties, currently living in southeastern Alabama. She also lived in New York City for six years. My name is Duane. People that know me call me sych and some people call me 1st…. I’m from Syracuse, New York but I grew up in Miami . As a kid I traveled a lot because of the sport i trained in and loved called boxing. I even received a full scholarship to North Michigan University. I was living in the Olympic Training Center, but I blew that by getting into trouble and that was my fork in the road. I made the wrong choice and within 9mths I was in jail… TRICKED by the system. Once I went down that road it lead me to a 40yr prison sentence in New Jersey State Prison, where I wasn’t supposed to be released until 2028. I got a complete reversal for racial profiling and was released May 3rd 2002. I did time in Federal prison in New Jersey and was released 2012. Since then I’ve been a business owner a few times. I currently work for the City of Syracuse… My Goal is to make a difference to our youth.. Gabrielle Crichlow is the esteemed captain of A Step Ahead Tutoring Services. She brings a wealth of academic excellence as well as a proven record of tutoring. Gabrielle received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. John's University in 2015. While she attended the university, she worked for two “supplemental education services” companies that partnered with New York City schools. Because they partnered with the schools, she was able to provide between 20 and 26 free hours of tutoring to students every year. While she was working at both companies, she saw the academic struggles of low-income and middle-income families that were disproportionately African-American, Hispanic, and South Asian. She believed that the allotment of hours - 20 to 26 hours of tutoring for the entire year - was definitely not enough for them. Furthermore, Gabrielle believed that these students tended to be misdiagnosed with learning disabilities, almost illiterate, and undereducated. She reached a point when she realized that these students deserved more than the limited services these companies offered them. It was at this moment that a light bulb went off in her head - "I’ll start my own company!" Gabrielle's experiences in graduate school provided her with the insight she needed to excel at and enjoy tutoring while inspiring other tutors to do the same. When she was 16 years old, This young lady became displaced. Moving 21 times between the ages of 16-21. While other teenage girls were focused on survival, she had to figure out a way to not let her circumstances determine how far she could go in life. Her test became her testimony. She had to rely on the generosity of strangers to provide her with gently used clothing, food and a temporary place to call home; while she attended high school. She knew that getting an education would be the key to her success, so she focused on going to class while working odd jobs to save money. Her personal story is now her passion. From being homeless and getting her education , this woman is a mother, a founder of the non profit organization called "The Lost Angels Society" which is providing homeless teens with basic necessities and hope for the future. Define Self Control? The ability to control oneself, in particular one's emotions and desires or the expression of them in one's behavior, especially in difficult situations. Self-Discipline do you have it? Do you have a bad temper? Do you go to zero to hundred when you are angry? Do you have temptations that can cause problems in achieving your goals? It's important to learn how to swim and teach your kids to swim. Water is needed for our bodies to heal and grow. We need to drink water everyday. We need water to wash our bodies, cook food, animals need water and also to help things grow. Yes it is beautiful to see the blue oceans, gorgeous rivers and breathtaking lakes. But water can also be scary and deadly. Drowning is a very legitimate fear, especially for people who do not know how to swim or who are not very good at swimming. When we get older our bodies go through so many changes. We go for our yearly physicals. We also try to eat more healthy, exercise, become more active in trying to do more things that will improve ourselves mentally and physically. Also staying positive and relieving ourselves from stress. But one thing we cannot stop and that is the process of aging. We are going to get old and our body will ache. Some where down the line, we will suffer from some type of pain (ailment) disorder no matter where it is on our bodies; which can interfere in our daily activities. Especially getting up everyday to go to work, having a social life and taking care of ourselves and others. It can lead to depression, anxiety and trouble sleeping; which can make the pain worse.
