The "Hey Mamma, You Good" Project was created as a passion project, purposed to collect, curate, and creatively distribute the stories of a diverse group of women about their personal journeys to and through motherhood. This podcast serves as a platform for these women to share their stories to encourage other women who are embarking on their own journey to motherhood and through life.
In this episode, you will hear Gloria's story. I didn't have to do much editing for this interview, because Gloria is a fantastic storyteller. In fact, I could honestly listen to Gloria talk all day. There is something about her voice that is both soothing and sagacious. When you listen to her story, you will most likely find yourself fully engaged, getting lost in her memories, smiling, and laughing along with her as she recounts her life as a single mother of four children living in rural Alabama. Gloria details the heartbreak she endured along with the trials and challenges that came with raising her four children, including her son who is hearing impaired.
Gloria is a talented craftswoman and jewelry maker, running her own business called Preciously Made LLC.

This episode is dear to my heart! This is my interview with my sweet Sister-in-Love, Lalita. Lalita has been married to my brother for over 10 years and she is the wonderful wife, daughter, sister, and mother to my two sweet, beautiful nieces. As an adaptable military spouse, she describes herself as "a woman in transition." I believe that she is that and more! If you grew up in a military family or are a part of one now, I'm sure you can relate to her story.
