Rejection can be painful especially if yourself are drawing from an empty cup and expecting other people or things to fill it. Start with self and complete yourself so that you can deal and handle rejection much better without being negatively impacted by it. When you have been rejected and knowing the pain of rejection, let that experience humble you enough to be able to give rejection to others in a human way. We can’t run away from rejection but it’s how you do it that makes a difference should you be in a position of having to reject a person for whatever reason.
