We believe that this is probably the most important component to a solid marriage. Transparency gives both partners a sense of security in the relationship. They know that there is nothing going on behind the scenes that would undermine the health of the relationship, which fosters a sense of well-being and safety. Transparency can also help to encourage a sense of personal security in each partner. Join us as we discuss how we achieved transparency in our marriage, what it has meant to us, and how it has helped our relationship to become stronger than it has been at any other point in our time together.

In this episode, we continue sharing the details of our experiences with Layla and Gracelyn. We get into more of God's perfect timing in raising these two adopted babies. We discuss the joys and difficulties of our situation, including the effects on our biological children. In each of our shows, we attempt to relate God's guidance and direction in our lives. Our ultimate goal with our podcast is to enlighten our audience and illustrate how obedience to God's will in your life can make your difficulties bearable, and also enrich your life in ways that you would never have possibly imagined.

We talk about how we have learned to be patient and wait for things to happen on God's timeline and not our own. We discuss some of the lessons taught to the two of us, and how we gained an understanding of the wonderful perfection found in pursuing life on God's terms, and in His time. Not our own.
In this episode, we discuss the importance of setting and enforcing boundaries in your marriage. It took us years to discover how key those boundaries are to a happy and productive relationship. In this episode, we discuss some of the tools that we have learned to use over 20 years of marriage. Some of these came from marriage counselors, some from books, but most of them came straight from the pages of The Bible. That book has all of the answers and tools that you will need to make your marriage as close to perfect as possible. While absolute perfection is unattainable, you can get pretty close! But you have got to include Jesus Christ in your marriage! Without Him, we wouldn't have made it. Our marriage would have ended in divorce, like over 50% of marriages today.
