The first part talks of how Caiaphas could manipulate the crowd and engineer the murder of Jesus starting with a scriptural concept of making Him the scapegoat for the good of all. As events progressed Caiaphas made sure that Jesus would be dying as a punishment for His own blasphemy and not for any greater good. However, it was not all in his hands.
