Building us into who we were designed to be.

Perception and understanding are key to understanding the word of God and becoming obedient. Our eyes of faith must be opened and our ears open to hearing what the spirit of God says to us. When we see but not perceive and hear but do not understand, we should be concerned for our lives, for this is what the Lord did when He gave over Israel to their own devices and consequently, into the hands of their captors.

The benefits of wisdom.
We often recognize and identify with the wisdom of this world far more easily than with the wisdom of God, despite the fact that the latter tends to lead to destruction. This episode outlines a few ways with which wisdom can benefit our lives. It is not an exhaustive list but a few things that can encourage us to pursue wisdom.

These messages shared at the beginning of 2023 with the GATE Ministries, Vincent East London family herald an epoch in our journey with God characterized by a maturity that causes sons of God to arise and take their rightful place in their Father's kingdom. Enforcing the will and rule of God over the domains we have been given authority over and completing that which must stand complete in this season.
Not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit of God. This segment outlines the need for us to prevail in all that we do by outlining some of the areas we need to deal with if we are to overcome. Areas such as our self-perceptions based on our past sins, mistakes, and failures. Prevailing by allowing the revelation of who Christ is to shape our focus and cause us to build accurately. We also prevail because of how we give and obey the spirit's leading.

This is a woman's day message delivered by Nosipho Boso exploring the character of Rachel.
It is important to understand what complaining births in our lives. At its extreme, as in the case of Rachel, it gave rise to a number of negative behaviours to the point where she stole her father's idols. Consequently, we see how the process degenerates to her death before she could enter Bethel, or the house of bread.
A Heavenly Culture is manifest where the mindset of the sons of God complies with the heart of their heavenly Father. This is a culture that flows from above as a path of life for the righteous.
The final session focusing on doctrine seeks to summarize what has been said regarding the word becoming flesh. This session also exhorts us to review our priorities to give the word of God the premium value it deserves.
A Heavenly Culture is manifest where the mindset of the sons of God comply with the heart of their heavenly Father. Where the word has become flesh in them, that His grace and truth may be on display for men to see. This requires that the word of God to become a living reality in the lives of those who walk after Him.
This session reviews the values that should at this point be budding as we make the apostle's doctrine (God's word) a paramount love in our lives. Meditation on the word opens our eyes to a better understanding and the implications of the word and how we can best implement the word in our lives. in John chapter 6, Jesus encourages those who were fed in the feeding of the five thousand to labour more to receive and partake of the bread that comes from heaven, that is able to fill us unto eternal life.

One of the ways this can become our reality is through meditation on the word of God, as Joshua was charged, and Psalm 1 encourages. We are to meditate on His word day and night. The words of the Word of God must not depart from our mouths. We should continuously mumble and deeply think of what he has called us to, what He has promised, what he has commanded, and what He has done in the past.
This session introduces us to meditation, providing definitions and contrasts between biblical meditation and its eastern and post-modern counterparts.
What is culture? A simple definition of the word explains it as ideas, customs, and social behavior of a particular people or society. Ideology forms and shapes our way of life and defines what becomes important to us. What is important to us shapes how we spend our time and generally behave.
In this session, builds from session 4 in exploring the importance of loving the word of God, and making time to read and listen to the word. We also look at the importance of being careful not to allow your doctrine to be mixed with ideologies that are not of God by looking at how the Israelites were infiltrated by the Moabites and eventually compromised their way of life because of a mixed belief system.

In this session, we delve deeper into the importance of doctrine in building the culture of the heavens into our own lives. The word must become flesh, in order for men to behold His grace and truth. Some practical exercises regarding how we can make the word become flesh are briefly introduced in this session, with the following sessions primarily on biblical meditation.

When we are born from above, our ideology also comes from above. As a new creation, we can no longer live according to the dictates of sin and the flesh. Our lives are informed by life that flows from above. This series focuses on how we should study the life of the early church in the book of Acts and grow in understanding and living according to the Apostolic culture of Acts 2:42.

Complacency, unbelief and a lack of maturity has robbed many in the house of God an opportunity to fully partake in the grace and inheritance God has called them to. Like the prodigal son, many believers have drifted to a point where they've made a wreck of their faith. The apostle Paul, in the book of Ephesians among others and the apostle Peter challenge those who are in the faith to live their lives worthy of the calling they have been called to. The book of Hebrews on the other hand gives a warning of how easy it is to drift away from what we have been called to when we do not diligently work out this great salvation in our lives.
The messages in this series are designed to encourage believers to take their calling into the house of God seriously, make every effort to grow in maturity and Christlikeness.

A night of great judgment against the gods of Egypt. Dawn of a new season for the Israelite 'slaves'. God had sent His messenger to redeem them. A Lamb for each family, the blood applied to the door frame so the angel of death could pass over the houses of the Israelites as he executed judgment. And it happened at midnight Jehovah struck all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sat on his throne to the first-born of the captive that was in the prison; also all the first-born of cattle (Exodus 12:29). Thousands of years later, the nation of Israel still keeps the festival of the Passover of the Lord as a reminder of how He brought them out of the land of Egypt. What did God want us to learn from the memory and annual celebration of this event?
These messages, recorded in 2022 during a joint Passover celebration between Destiny House Ministries and GATE Ministries Vincent East London, seek to capture the original design of the Passover and how through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God brought us out of our own sin and slavery to all sorts of vices, unto himself, that we may be partakers of His divine nature as Christlike sons in His house.

Accessing grace requires an understanding of the word. Understanding ensures that we comprehend and acquire a deep perception of the words that proceed out of the mouth of God as teaching. When we have this comprehension, we are enabled to draw out and apply principles from God's word into our lives, setting ourselves up for outpourings of grace.
It also becomes important to note that according to Proverbs 4:1-9, sons are expected to keep and cherish their father's teachings. The words (doctrine) from a father when understood and applied, watch over our lives, exalt us, positions us for honor, and release deposits of grace upon our lives, setting us up for glory.

The lessons in the journey of the Israelites through the wilderness are plenty and immense. Imbued with significant living for our living today.
In our current unstable environment, we need to build and live according to systems that cannot be shaken by the current uncertainty on the earth. Among these, is accurately building the family of God in accordance with His intended purpose, to effectively exist and function in two realms. But just as the Israelites needed manna daily for their sustenance and necessary provision to make it through the desert into their promised land, we desperately need the grace of God to build that which He has commissioned, a family that is an exact representation of who He is.
This series seeks to shed light on understanding grace and positioning our lives to receive the needed daily doses of the very substance of who God is that we may effectively be who we are called to be.

The church as a family of God upon the earth is governed by timeless principles in how it operates. Among others, that the Spirit of the father rests upon a set man through whom God fathers his own house. Secondly, the relationship model that is found in this house is that of a father and his sons. The word son in this context referring to those who carry the father's purposes on the earth rather than referring to any gender.
Luke 15 provides a good model from which we can further understand the father and son principles. In this session, we continue to glean wisdom from the story of the prodigal son. A particular emphasis is on the eldest son.

The church as a family of God on the earth series challenges us to make a shift from seeing the church as a mere institution to understanding it as God's chosen vehicle to reveal Himself on the earth. This family, just like any other biological family functions on timeless principles of Father and Son. The father in this instance first referring to God, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name and identity. Being in the form of Spirit, God connects with His sons on the earth through His Spirit, which he elects to rest upon men and women called to shepherd his people upon the earth. The family is also made up of sons (not referring to gender), those who have been reconciled to God the Father and now live to carry his purposes out on the earth as an accurate reflection of Him.
In previous sessions, we had explored the attributes of the Spirit of the Father and how he fathers those who are called by His name, and in this installment, we explore the principle of sonship, first by studying the posture of Jesus Christ as a son of God, then by looking at the principles embedded in the parable of the prodigal son, and how we can make our election and calling as sons secure by living according to the confines of the father's will and purpose for His sons.

The Spirit of the father session 2 explores the principles that govern the family of God. When the Spirit of Fathering is present in the household of God, there is emancipation and freedom that allows the sons of God to grow into their destiny. Every leader in the church of God should endeavor to operate in the Spirit of the Father, in order to effectively nurture and build the sons of God into the full stature of who Christ is as a Son of God.

In this session, we explore the principles that govern the family of God. Having previously discussed how God leads His family through representative fathers, the session explores the Spirit of God (the Spirit of Fathering) resident in those whom God elects to use as He leads His household on the earth.

This Session Continues to explore the church as a family of God in the earth. Providing an overview of how God leads and fathers us through people He called to lead His church (the five fold ministry).
This is done through a primary principle, expressed clearly in the old testament seen in how God called many, particularly prophets, to speak on his behalf. In the new Testament the ministry of Paul and Jesus are clear examples of how God speaks through those whom he sends, and how it becomes important for us to receive and hear His sent ones in order to receive and hear Him.

Ordering our lives in line with God's righteous requirements demands that we shift our mindset. His ways are higher, and therefore we need to constantly push ourselves to see things from His vantage point.
One such shift, is required with regards to how we view and understand church. Not just as an institution where we are fed the word of God, but as a family where we are brought into close relationship with God as our Father. This installment of Reset and Reorder provides an overview regarding the intents of God with the church, and how he uses the voice of man to speak to His sons, bringing them to a place of full maturity. Church leaders and members alike must gravitate back to this position.

In the third installment of this series, we use the prophesies of Zephaniah, a prophet who spoke during the times of King Josiah as a case study to help us see the kinds of issues that caused God's judgement to fall upon a people. Having understood, introspection and judging oneself should be the response, and the fruits thereof should reflect in a changed view of God and fellow man.
It is usually a difficult and sometimes an insurmountable exercise to judge our own ways. May the grace of God be your help as you allow the word to cut even to the dividing line of bone and marrow, soul and spirit and challenge you to reflect on how you stand before the Lord our God.

Often we associate judgement with the infliction of injury, harm and humiliation. But in as much as Judgement is characterized by aspects that may cause pain and distress, God's purpose for judgement are primarily restorative. The history of the Israelites opens our eyes to how God allowed judgement to be an instrument that works His Righteousness in us, by causing us to take stock of our ways, becoming aware of how we have missed the mark and in humility, return to that ancient way, He designed for us to walk in.
Covid-19 in many ways serves a similar purpose, forcing a busy world to stop and take stock of its systems and how they fall short of His mark. How we respond in times like these determines the future of nations. Session 12 of Reset and reorder continues looking at the workings, of God's judgement, the importance of living circumspectly, especially as leaders because our actions impact on those around us, and also how we should respond.
