This is one of the most important interviews I have done in a long time. Lavon Clack is doing something that literally could have an impact on a good many Black families throughout the nation. How so? Rap like professional sports is something many low income Black families use as a means out of poverty. Unfortunately, if that should happen, all too often a Black family LOSES out because the athlete or the musician and his or her family neglects the BUSINESS side of what they are doing and often LOSE that money and wealth building opportunity. Lavon Clack teaches them the BUSINESS side of making money with music, and really what he says about music and business, it can be applied to professional sports too! Check this brother out!

The second part of our reading from the book, A Simple Plan for Building Wealth by Craig Anthony. This is a serious message to Black America.
My opinion about a man who thinks or claims he is a woman getting hired by NIKE to promote women's sports bras and gear. I think it is silly and absurd on one level but I also think the opinion of women athletes and consumers matter more. What do some of you women, real women, think? Express your thoughts and opinions. I want to truly hear them and understand them.
Building wealth is a science and an art, it is a science and an art that is accessible to any group of folk in the USA, including Black America. Our first step towards wealth must be to stop viewing ourselves, as folk like Roland Martin want for us to view ourselves. We are not perpectual victims and the Democratic Party is not our savior!!
This commentary is NOT about giving financial advice. I am only suggesting, strongly suggesting, Black publicly traded companies anyone, particularly Black Americans should be researching and investigating. Stock investing is one of the most efficeint and accessible ways for Black families to build wealth (net worth).

I am on a mission to get hundreds of Black youth in the city of Louisville involved in the stock market, NOW! Not later, not during a bull market or duing a bear market, I mean NOW and I am teaching them to stay in the market....get in NOW, stay in forever!!
There are three ways adults can help....
1)Donate food and Kroger gift cards. At investment club meetings I serve snacks and drinks.
2) Donate money for young investors to dine at publicly traded restaurants
3) Donate your time playing Monopoly with my investment students
This is a commentary for Black folk serious about building personal wealth, family wealth and community wealth through supporting Black owned companies.
This February 4, Saturday, Launch Louisville, 816 East Broadway the first meeting of Invest Now Louisville takes place. It is a Black youth organization committed to teaching how to build personal wealth, family wealth and generational wealth through building and holding good companies.

My dream of organizing a Black youth stock investing group has finally come to fruition. At present, I have 4 such youth committed to our stock investing club.

This is my informal review and commentary on Dr. Boyce Watkin's Fun Finance Flashcards.
Let's talk about one way we can show our Black youth how they can multiply their money. Let's show our Black youth how INVESTING OUR MONEY IN THE STOCK MARKET is more profitable for us than begging for slavery reparations.
We are having one at Launch Louisville, 816 East Broadway. It starts at 11 am. There will be several vendors and a Tai Chi demonstration. We are hoping for at least one health food store to come out and one job recruiter.
Sou Sou's are effective if they are based on 3 things...Trust, Accountability and Discipline
Black America must embrace OPPORTUNITY, and not guaranteed income or outcomes. To do otherwise is to put us into a form of slavery and serfdom that would take us generations to overcome!

Black youth consumer NIKE products. My strong suggestion is that Black youth should investigate NIKE and see about becoming NIKE shareholders. If you like a company's products, why not at least do some research on becoming a shareholder in the company. Why not?

Few things are more important than getting more young people involved in the stock market. That starts with financial education.

Black America must not let ANYONE say that home ownership is the only way and/or the best way to build generational wealth. That is NOT TRUE!
Commentary on "woke" Black Executives in corporate America. They celebrate thugs, when are they going to celebrate law enforcement officers? The chances of a Black man getting killed by a white officer (like what happened with George Floyd) are like slim to none compared to the chances of a Black male getting killed by another Black male...research, evidence bears that out overwhelmingly! And yet even Black folk in corporate America carry their extremist leftist bias into their work i.e. a near utter contempt for law enforcement!

Average Americans can do better financially IF they are armed with the proper financial education. This is a fact!
Any parent serious about seeing their son or daughter learn about the stock market and stock investing should enroll them in our summer stock investing camp.
Most Black folk in America are for the most part ignorant about what in fact constitutes wealth. Income is the money you make. Wealth is the where your money is making money. Wealthy people DO NOT work for income. They reach the point where their money is making money.
It makes me so happy to report that there are some absolutely fantastic young, Black wealth builders in America today! Check out youtube channels- Wall Street Trapper, Black Girl Stocks and Earn Your Leisure!
