Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! This is the introduction to the new podcast, Finding Zion. I am your host Nicole, better known as Colie_Locs. In this introduction I want to share with you the WHY of this podcast. As I grow spiritually, I have more and more questions about myself and my roots that I can't find the answers to on social media or news sites. These are the tough topics because they deal with the unseen, they deal with going against society, they deal with being honest about who we are (and who we are not).

I know if you were to take a look at my birth certificate, it would read African American,  and we are taught so much about being a "partial American" but what about the African term that we ignore in that label.  Why do we not know much about religion, ancestors, way of life of our African side?

Being black in corporate, Christianity in the black community,  culture views portrayed by media, black love, American "HIS"tory are just a few of the other topics that we will also cover. I'm always open to topics that you want to discuss.

I'm just here to get the conversation started, so we can find and get back to Zion.

I do not own copyright to any music used in this podcast.
