Today, Clayton is chatting with Vernon. Vernon has a unique story of moving to Kenya as a child, where he picked up Swahili completely through immersion.

Growing up as the son of a translator, he moved to Kenya at a young age and was surrounded by language learning. His experience moving to different countries in the African continent gave him a very unique view of language, culture, and language learning.

After moving back to the UK, he tried learning Spanish but was frustrated with his progress. His experience language learning as an adult started off with traditional methods, but he found he wasn't happy with his progress. So he decided to try immersion learning with Refold, and he hasn't looked back!
