To those who want and can afford to go to College, go with intention. To those who go and don’t make it to the finish line, It’s okay to fail. What is not okay is to hate yourself for it. I was disappointed in myself and disappointed that I was going to disappoint my family. I blamed myself for failing and it was my fault but only to an extent. I have granted myself a year to explore as I deem fit and to freely contemplate what I want to do with my life. I implore you to do the same. Life isn’t long enough to live for everybody else, you may wake up one day and find a life squandered. This would be the greatest tragedy of all.
