The major contribution to this is the hurry of people to get into marriages before getting to know your partner in depth. Knowing a person is intensive thing that needs time before deciding anything.
There are certain human traits that cannot be learned within two days neither a year. The hurry to marry a person and later realise a trait that you cant cope with it is a major problem affecting people more so young people.
