Teachers Change Lives podcast is a weekly reminder to the universe as to why teaching is the best job in the world. Every day, a school setting ranges from the crazy/ridiculous/funny to the life changing and inspiring. This podcast will show why teachers are simultaneously great dinner guests (with their funny stories) as well as superheroes (due to the impact they have on lives every day). The Teachers Change Lives podcast aims to celebrate the teaching profession, raise the profile of teachers and teaching, attract people to the profession and intercept the number of teachers leaving the profession.
We’re back! And what a way to start the season. We sit down with Bruce Wasser, a teacher in the truest sense. We discuss his amazing story, his philosophy on education and his book, “90: A Conscientious Objector’s Journey of Quiet Resistance”.
This week Mrs Angel and Mr White sit down with an amazing educator - Kate Gilchrist. Kate’s focus on finding the positives and keeping the student at the centre of thinking is inspirational. We discuss having fun, panning for gold and social media in the lives of young people.
This week Mrs Angel and Mr White talk parent teacher interviews, camp and building culture in a learning environment.
We are back! Mrs Angel and Mr White kick off a big 2025 with funny stories and great advice for beginning the new year.
