We speak to the man behind this incredible piece of land, Frode Hov. Frode tells about his dad’s vision to build a golf course 68 Degrees North of the Artic Circle. According to Frode, “Lofoten is like playing golf in a church”, is there a better place to get closer to nature through golf? Not to mention, 24 hour golf in June & July, while playing under the Northern Lights in August & September. We ask Frode about the sustainability of Lofoten, and the future plans at the Links. Finally, Frode tells about the rich Viking history on the property, aka Uhtred of the Last Kingdom, "destiny is all".

As part of the GOAT Golf 'Signature Holes on Tour' series we talk to De Zalze Golf Club Golf Director Alfie Payne. De Zalze Golf Club will be hosting the Vodacom Origins Tournament on the Sunshine Tour from the 4th to 6th Aug 2022. Alfie informs us on the hosting of the Eisenhower Trophy in 2006 and how the Par 3's at De Zalze played in pivotal role at the tournament. We discuss the course record at De Zalze, which is currently held jointly by current PGA tour player Garrick Higgo and Sunshine Tour based Jayden Schaper. Alfie talks us through 3 holes on the course that mimic the famed 'Amen Corner' at Augusta. We also touch on the Signature Hole at De Zalze and how the professionals on the Sunshine Tour will approach the hole at the Vodacom Origins Tournament. Finally, Alfie talks us through his picks for the tournament and his predicted winning score.
