Find the contact you want to delete, select it, and choose the delete contact option. Confirm your decision and the contact will be successfully deleted. Remember, these instructions may vary slightly depending on your device.
In this episode, we explore how to access and manage contacts on our phone. By pressing and holding the back button, we can go to the home screen and navigate to the Contacts option. From there, we can view a list of contacts and easily navigate through them using the arrow keys. Pressing OK allows us to access various options for each contact, such as dialing, texting, editing, assigning ringtones, sharing, or deleting. Managing our contacts becomes quick and convenient with this simple process.
How to Add a Contact on Blindshell Classic 2This guide will walk you through the process of adding a contact to your Blindshell Classic 2.
Accessing the Contacts Menu1. Start from the main screen with the time and battery status. 2. Press the down button until you hear "Contacts 3 of 7". 3. Press the OK button to access the contacts list.
Adding a New Contact1. In the contacts menu, select "Add new contact". 2. Press the OK button to start adding a new contact. 3. You will be presented with a list of eight different options or items you can add to your contact. The ninth option is "Save".
Inputting Contact Details1. For each item you want to add details to, press the OK button. 2. For example, to add a first name, press OK when you hear "First name. One of nine." 3. Wait for the "doo-doo" sound. This indicates that the phone is ready for you to type or dictate the content for the selected field. 4. Type or dictate the name. 5. Confirm the text you've entered by using the button directly above the back button or the slanted line to repeat the contents of the field. 6. If the information is correct, press the OK button. 7. You can confirm that the data was entered successfully because you will hear the item name and then the contents you added. 8. Use the down arrow key to select the next item. For example, "Surname, two of nine". Press OK to add a surname. 9. Wait for the "doo-doo" sound again, then speak or type the contents. 10. Repeat the process for each item you want to add.
Adding Phone Numbers1. When you're entering phone numbers, the phone is smart enough that you don't have to press the number multiple times to access numbers. 2. Simply enter the number as you expect. For example, for the number "54156", start with "5", then "4", then "1", and so on. 3. Press OK to confirm the phone number.
Saving the Contact1. Once you've filled out all the information you want to add to the contact, select "Save Contact". 2. The phone will then verify that the contact has been saved.
Remember, for each item that you want to add details to, you need to press OK so you hear the sound that the keyboard is ready for entry. Once you're done entering the contents of that field, press the OK button to confirm that.

Welcome to this episode of the Shell Phone Show. Today, we are discussing how to reset your Blindshell Classic 2 phone to factory defaults. This is a useful last resort troubleshooting technique but be warned, it will erase all user data on the device.
Key Points:
- Data on a microSD card will not be erased. If you've backed up content on your Blindshell Classic 2 to the microSD card, your backups will remain.
- To begin, press and hold the back button until you reach the time.
- Navigate to settings by selecting option number 5.
- Once in settings, press OK directly above number 1, then press up once to 'About phone', followed by OK.
- In 'About phone', press up once to 'Factory reset' followed by OK.
- The phone will confirm if you really want to perform the factory reset. Press OK to proceed.
- The phone will vibrate a couple of times and then announce 'Please wait, performing factory reset.'
- After another 90 seconds or so, the phone will vibrate again and you will hear the phone come on.
- Wait for about 2-3 seconds after you hear the startup music to ensure the phone is connected to the network.
- The time may be incorrect initially after resetting, but there's no need to worry.
That's it! You've successfully reset your Blind Shell Classic 2 phone.

When the usual unlocking methods fail, the best way to force a restart is by pressing and holding the back button on the phone. The back button is located above the number three on the keypad. Press and hold it for 15 seconds until you feel a longer vibration, indicating that the phone is restarting. Release the back button and wait for about 28 seconds to hear the startup sound, marking a successful restart. This method allows blind shell users to resolve problems like a frozen screen without the need to remove the battery.
In this episode, we discuss the importance of backing up your BlindShell device and how to do it. Simply insert a micro SD card or a USB thumb drive into your BlindShell, access the settings, navigate to the service menu, and start the backup process. It takes about five minutes to complete, and you can easily restore your data if needed. Remember to back up your BlindShell device to protect your data.

All right, so I'm going to answer a real quick question that I've gotten a couple of different
from individuals who have asked.
And that is what is this way around application that's
available in the blind child classic two app catalog.
So if you go to the app catalog, as of today, seven June, you can
download under the new applications, an app called way around.
Once you've downloaded this, you'll want to set up an account
if you don't already have one and then acquire some way around tags.
Of course, you can get them from AT guys, but you can also get
at WayAround.com. I recommend AT guys only because I work for them, you know. I don't get paid a
commission, but definitely, you know, check them out. So once you've gotten those WayTags, then you
and you've set up your account. The very first thing you'll want to do is press and hold the
down button once you open WayAround. This will put you on the very last button, which is to write.
And if you press okay on that, you can actually write a description. There's going to be an edit
field that you can put a description in and this is what you can put on your way tag. So for example
let's say you have milk and you want to keep track of the expiration date. You can put those details
in the description and then the last button on that screen will be right. When you hit okay on
right it'll say touch a tag to the back of your phone. This is about halfway up the back of the
phone that you just want to touch one of the way tags against. When the phone has read it, it will
vibrate and let you know, "Hey, this has been written," and you can move on with your day.
Then attach that tag to the item that you just labeled.
Once you've done that, next time you open the way around application, you simply touch
the back of your phone against that tag.
The phone will speak and vibrate and let you know, "Hey, I'm reading the tag that you already
wrote."
Then once you've read that, you use your down arrow key and it'll let you read the information
that you saved to that tag.

In today's content, I'm going to walk you through the process of saving an email. If someone sends you something you want to be able to keep, it's important to separate that from your email. That way it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. So today I'm going to walk you through saving a message to your notes in your email. Press and and hold the back button. 8.18 AM. And then we'll open our email application. Email. One of two. I'll press OK. Loading new email. One of 25. And we'll locate the message in the inbox that we want to save. Inbox. Two of 25. Press OK. Loading Google security alert. 20 minutes ago. One of 51. And I want to save this security alert. So I'll press OK. And then we'll press OK to open the context menu for this specific message.
[1:28] Press option number 6, followed by OK, and yours may not say 1 of 4. Don't be worried. All you need to do is locate the option that says. In my case, it's the third option, share by notes. Press OK. Text, image, Google, Mozilla Thunderbird email was granted access to your Google account. And the note is then read to you. So in order to save the note, we need to press OK one more time and we'll hear. And secure your account. Note saved. Share by notes. Three of four. Now the note is saved. Here's how you retrieve a note that you've saved to your phone. Press and hold the back button. 8 19 a.m. locate applications applications 4 of 7 okay internet browser 1 of 9 choose tools tools 2 of 9 press ok alarm 1 of 10 choose notes notes 6 of 10 press ok add note 1 of 2 and then choose notes list 2 of 2 and press ok, image Google Mozilla Thunderbird email was granted access to your Google account. There's the message that you saved. If you press OK on this note, edit one of five, you'll have the opportunity to edit, share, use information from your text, delete this single note or delete all of your notes.

Transcript:Hey everyone, thanks for checking out the latest episode of the Shell phone show, Michael
here and I wanted to give you the big news about what's happening over a blind shell.
So you made out a notification this morning or it is going to be coming out in the very
near future to you that tells you that there's a system update that you can install.
Now one of the cool things about this system update that I am super excited about is you
now connect your BlindShall Classic 2 to a Bluetooth keyboard, which means if you struggle
with using a phone keypad on the BlindShall Classic 2, connecting your phone to a Bluetooth
keyboard will give you more flexibility with typing.
In addition, the other new feature that I think a lot of people are going to find to
be exciting is now if you go to the settings option, choose OK, and then choose OK on sounds
go down to voice output and press OK, and then go up one,
you'll have a new option that gives you the ability
to have the battery level spoken when you press
and hold that back button.
Now, we all know what screen I'm talking about.
If you press and hold the back button,
it'll tell you the time.
And if you go enable this feature,
it'll also tell you the battery level
to give you that information.
